I hear for the new iPad you should do it at 5%, but I just waited until it shut itself off.Is this alright? I hear that you should do it whenever it shuts itself off but I read off some other site I should do it at 5% and that lithium-ion batteries will have problems if you do it, I guess? I have an IPad and my daughter has the new Kindle Fire HD 7. When she Skypes me she can see me and I can see myself but I can't see her.Sh has a front facing camera for Skyping and so do I. Also, she can Skype me but whenever I try to Skype it just rings or the call ill suddenly end.

How to setup wifi on my ipad?

We have free wifi at home but when my niece used her laptop she accidentally setup the wifi in her laptop.My niece looked over our tendra router for the WPS pin and she was able to connect the laptop but we lost our connection in our ipad and iphone. Though the one she setup is discoverable we still could not connect since she does not know the password on the newly set up connection. How can we go back to the primary wifi of ours again? Thanks.

I have a jailbroken Ipad 2 on 5.1.1 and I was downloading a tweak from Cydia when it froze.My ipad shut off and now when it tries to boot up it just sits on the apple logo. IPad connection error?

I just got an iPad 2 for Christmas, and that day I updated it it to iOS6 that same day. Until last night everything was working fine, and then mysteriously, it will no longer connect to the iTunes store, the App Store, or Facebook. The rest of my devices are working fine on our home wifi network, but I haven't had a chance to check it elsewhere. I'd really like to use my iPad again, so any solutions would be helpful!

Okay so i got a notificiation stating that my apple ID was used to log into an ipad? And nobody in my family has an iPad in use. I already changed my password but it also said in the notification that my email and icloud account were also set up onto the ipad so what do i do to secure those? Please help asap!

IPad both cameras & mic stopped working!

I got an iPad 4 as a present for Christmas, so I've only used it for 4 days.

Today when I tried to call someone on Skype the app froze and when they answered they couldn't hear me or see me. I tried to go on PhotoBooth but the 'red curtain' kept on opening and closing constantly and wouldn't let me on it. I tried to use the Camera app and all I got was the 'shutter' that wouldn't open. Even Siri isn't working due to the mic that stopped working.

I tried to switch off the iPad and turn it back on, tried to reboot it using Home and Power buttons, in the end I even restored the factory settings. Nothing worked. What can I do now?

Everything was fine yesterday, so I am completely stumbled.

Silverlight on new ipad?

I have been doing some research on trying to find away to watch my lectures for school on the new Ipad and the closes thing I've found is a app called Splashtop where I can access my computer or laptop from my ipad. This year while me and my family were out christmas shopping i had pretty much decided i didn't want anything this year because there wasn't much that shouted "Buy Me Now!" and i figured i might as well save my money for the new year

but my dad straight up isn't letting that happen he makes it clear that if i want anything anything at all He'd Buy it because the last thing he wants is me to have a christmas without anything

on the spot i start talking about the ipad(sheepishly because i didn't want to be a bother and i didn't want someone to spend so much on me)

in the end $599 was spent on a 65gb ipad and i appreciate the gift and am not trying to be ungrateful but i spend most of my days at home and when i do have to go somewhere I'd be better off taking my PSVita with me since i prefer playing games to ease my boredom instead of mindlessly browsing the web

i don't really know what to do… i thought this would be an awesome thing to have but now it's just collecting dust downstairs(sitting $26 in itunes credits) and making me feel like i betrayed my inner gamer by not taking advantage of walmart being stocked on wiiu's

Instagram crashes when I follow?

Since the new update, Instagram crashes every time I follow someone.It only happens on my one account (the other one is fine), and it happens on both my iPod and iPad (on the one account). I did reach the max following rate 2 days ago, but I should be able to follow now. When I click the follow button, it freezes for 2-3 seconds and brings me back to the home screen.

I have (unsuccessfully) tried:
Logging out
Going on a new device
Deleting and re-downloading the app

Please help! Hopefully there is some fix or way around it until the bug is fixed. Would using Instapad on my iPad detour me around the bug?

I've googled YouTube on the safari app and used it there before, but honestly I just like the way the app works better. I looked in the App Store and the same app isn't there. So on an online auction site called listia, I was scammed by a seller. My nook color won't charge?

Guilt over Christmas gifts?

So for Christmas this year my mum bought me and brother iPads each. We were both absolutely made up as we never ask for gifts and would never have expected it! However my mum is a single parent And although my dad does pay maintanence, she doesn't have a lot of money to spend, Which is why we never ask for anything at Christmas. I forgot to turn my iPad off when cleaning the screen?

Hello everyone, for Christmas I received a iPad and a case, today I wanted to place it in the iPad case but decided a cleaning would be best. I made a foolish mistake and did not read the full instructions for cleaning in the manual. I had ran a microfiber cloth under the faucet for a second. The cloth was moist but not dripping, to get to the point I had just locked the screen to where it was black and proceed to clean then dry. Realizing my folly I turned the tablet off and have had it off for about 45 minutes and have just now turned it on to ask this question. Everything seems be just fined but I'm worried considering I really wanted to take good care of the machine. I have no rice on hand but everything seems to work.Is my ipad fine or should I take some precaution? Thanks in advanced because I am going to be devastated if even a single pixel is dead.

Ipod 4, ipod 5, ipad or convertible laptop?

For Christmas I had an ipod 4th gen after my first generation eventually died. However, I don't know if it would be worth me paying an extra £100 for the 5th gen, would it be worth it, are the extra features worth £100? And then I think well just buy an iPad, but i wouldn't use it very much for size I don't think. Which brings me on to convertible laptops, I want one but I use PhotoShop often, use a lot of memory and play games, would it suffice? Kindle fire hd or iPad mini? - 2

Okay I need help! I received a kindle fire hd 7" for Christmas but my husband said I can return it and exchange for the iPad mini which we will have to pay $140 extra. We don't mind paying extra for the iPad mini.

I have a iPhone 5, and I like how I can surf the net, emails, and read books on my kindle app.

So which one is better? I don't like how the kindle fire is a bit heavier than the iPad mini. But I do love the fact that i can watch movie in HD.

The downside is that I don't like how my books can be easily access on the front book page. And when surfing the net, it's kinda slow than my iPhone 5.

With the iPad mini it will look exactly like my iPhone 5, but bigger. I like how I can easily close my kindle books and open a new app.

I need help on deciding.

I have 6 children, 3 step, and 1 biologically mine and twins between my husband and I My eldest biological daughter lives with me one week, then with her father the next. She spent Christmas with us this morning, then with her father this even. I consider all my children as my own. We aren't really rich, but we are pretty well off with money and we have a nice big house and stuff. (Not bragging.)
I was telling my best friend over the phone what each child got for Christmas, and she thinks I spent way to much on them. I don't see how.
16 year old stepdaughter: We got her a Mac laptop, Ipad, itunes gift card, hair products, makeup, and clothes and perfume and makeup.
14 year old daughter: We got her a Kindle fire, new Iphone, the Hunger game series and House of Nights series (She loves to read), clothes, makeup, hair products, a huge dreamcatcher to hang in her room and a new pair of moccasins boots.
12 year and 11 year old stepsons: They share a room so they some shared gifts. We got them a Xbox360, Xbox 360 video games, clothes, shoes, and new bedspreads and football posters.
6 year old son: He is into racecars right now, so we transformed his bedroom into a car themed room, got him a hot wheels race track, a bunch of cars, and some clothes.
6 year old daughter: We got her 4 barbies, a barbie dream house, a playhouse, a easy bake oven, clothes, and barbie movies.
Each child got a flat screen tv in there room for christmas and each child (minus the little ones) got $50 and candy in there stockings. We also got all the children (and a gift for ourselves) tickets to go to Bahamas cruise ship for Spring break and a new Husky female puppy.
Did we go overboard on them? Myself I don't think so. We have a big family and she only has one child. What is your thoughts? Thank you!

About a year ago I bought an iTouch with my own money. Then, for my bat mitzvah my grandma bought me a Macbook. Need advice on poor internet connection!

Our internet is absolutely atrocious in its current state.It is slow from the start but the problem is that we have 2 Xbox with internet connection, a main PC, a laptop, and an iPad. With only one of the above connected it is still extremely slow but when another connects it is virtually impossible to do anything, sometimes we even disconnect from the internet entirely. Our provider is AT&T and they have said we have the fastest internet that they provide. Can anyone help with what the problem might be?

Why do I always have weird dreams?

For as long as I can remember I've always have had very weird and vivid dreams. And when I say weird I mean WEIRD. Once I had a dream that I went to a school that was underwater. Water filled the school too, so to get to my other classes I had swim through the hallways of fish and dolphins. The class rooms weren't filled with water. Anyways, my old middle school Tech-Ed teacher, Mr. Olsen, was subbing for our English class. He sat next to me for the whole week. One day, my iPad went off during class and he yelled at me. Then he grabbed my hand to bring me to the principle's office and he shocked me. (Literally! Sparks and everything!) It really hurt. Then, when we got outside of the class room, instead of dragging me over there, he gives me a piggy back ride and starts laughing. He said that I wasn't in trouble and that he had a surprise for me. He brought me to a huge room. Inside that room was all of my favorite candies. And the dream ends with me and him laughing, eating candy, and watching TV.It's weird cause he wasn't really a humorous man. I have a lot of other weird dreams, but I don't think you guys are interested.So my question, why are my dreams so weird? Also, what are dreams exactly? Oh! And I'd also like tips on lucid dreaming! I've always wanted to, and I've tried for weeks, but I just can't! Thanks! :)

Why wont snap chat let me open my snaps?

I upgraded my snap chat to the 4.0.0 or whatever it is (the one that now has video recording) and I can send snap chats but when I receive them it says hold to view and no matter how many times i hold it, it wont open. I have logged off logged on, re installed it and tried it not only on my phone but my iPad.

iPad 2nd gen 64 gen wifi only

I saw on cnet that FREEDOM POP has come out with an iPod 5 case that makes the iPod 4g enabled, for $100 u get 500mb year monthly (upgradable to 1 gb free of u get friends to buy) and 4gb for $28 a month. Does any1 have this? It sounds awesome because obviously the iPod has only ever been wifi but IS IT WORTH IT?

Also im thinking of upgrading my IPAD to iPad 4 64gb wifi+4glit AT&T

Being forced to pay a loan shark due to ex's drug use?

I need some advice from somebody outside of this situation.

Some/most details have been altered and changed to protect my identity.

Four years ago i started dating a woman who i ended up moving in with (8 months after we first started dating) about a year after that she ended up getting into quite heavy drug use. She was never a drug user when i met her but I stood by her until it was no longer possible to (she started to refuse to seek any help and just eat heavily into our savings to feed her habit) 12 months ago i moved out and never saw her again. 2 weeks ago i got a knock at the door telling me she had overdosed and passed away. The person telling me this was a Loan shark who had lent 'us' 20G's and showed me our signature on a 'contract' stating it… It was a very good copy of my signature but i could tell it was forged. Apparently she had 6, 000 left to pay and as she was no longer alive he wanted the rest from me. Now i KNEW this guy as he was a pretty famous loan shark from around my old area (I've never had anything to do with him) but i pretty much believed the rumors that he has the cops in his back pocket.So i knew going to the police wasn't an option -_- For a loan shark he was rather nice.lol and agreed that he could tell i knew nothing about it and said just call it 4G's and i had till the end of January to pay it. He gave me his word (he does have a reputation for keeping his word) that i would never hear from him again. I currently have £4, 000-ish in the bank. Finding the money isn't the problem.My current girlfriend is obviously scared witless (and so am I tbh) and wants me to pay it ASAP.Im 99% sure i should just pay. and i do trust him when he says i wont see him again.but at the same time ive never been into anything like this before and it really burns me that im not only 'feeding' a shark but having to give up all my savings because some one i dated a year ago decided to put my name on a contract.

Any advice?

P.s Sorry for typos etc.Im using my friends Ipad to type this as i don't any any trace of this being on my laptop etc.

What's up with all these ridiculously obvious scam ads?

I Googled something like Skype so I can download it, and the first result is highlighted in yellow showing a link for the download- However, NOT from the main website. I knew the website was a bait for scamming and I looked it up, and it was a nothing but scam. 5 stars at being all red(red meaning highly unsatisfactory). What I don't understand is why does Google allow these types of ads on the results? And not only that, that was the ONLY ad of Skype on Google. I also understand I can just download Adblock Plus, but that isn't the point. The point is, why are these ads allowed up? They're from scammers, and I'm pretty sure most of the world uses Google. I find it ridiculous, and also ridiculous how obvious these scammers make it. These guys are crooks, and don't deserve the spotlight. Reserve the first spot for the real website, is what I think.

Is the Apple App Market really that much better?

I really don't like Apple as a company… but when it comes down to it, I'm going to buy the product that does what I need better.

The only reason I'm considering an iPad over an ASUS Transformer is because I've never been happy with the app selection on the Google Play store. Most of the apps are absolute trash. I'd venture to say at least 98% of apps are worthless. I hear the Apple App store is better, but I want to hear it from people who already use their devices.

1) I'm the kind of guy who likes the ability to just go out and download a game or two when I'm bored without having to sift through heaps of garbage just to find one decent title. Does Apple deliver on that?

2) Are most of the Apple apps free or paid? Google Play is mostly free. I don't mind paying a couple $ here and there if the app is worthwhile, but I'd also like to know if free apps are hard to come by.
