How do i reset my Apple Ipad 2 password?

I have not been on my Apple Ipad 2 for a while and i want to use it. Problem is, i forgot the dang PASSWORD! Does anyone have ANY method of resetting the Password? I have a ton of pics and videos on it and i do NOT want to lose them by doing a factory reset. Please help me!
