How much could I sell my iPad with a broken screen on EBay?

The screen is both cracked and won't turn on anymore the iPad is about 8 years old. Could i sell it for more than $50 on eBay?

Will Apple release a new iPad in 2018 Sep?

So am thinking of buying an iPad as a graduation gift for someone very close to me, but am afraid that next month Apple is gonna launch a new iPad. Do you advise me to wait until then?
