Ordering the new Ipad 4?

so i was thinking of getting a ipad mini 3 or 4 for as one of my birthday present from myself from saving Christmas money but one i have is i think it's Ipad 2 or next one between 2/3 it a different charger one it's also the one i have now it been super slow but i was wondering can it hold Netflix movies download so i can also bring to airport to watch movies on for every year to i go New Jersey in August to see my family and few close friends i grew up and also take less space while you walking round and won't be so heavy
