I bought the iPad 4 2 months ago and when I first bought it, it was already 99% charged so I did not charge it. After I used all the battery energy, I charged it with the lightning charger thing.It did not recognize it and the battery just remained there, in red.It did not say not charging or anything, it was just a battery with a red bar with 1% left. I had to flip it back and forth many times like 20 times and then it had the lightning symbol which means it is charging. The things is, everytime I want to charge my ipad, I would always have to switch the lightning thing back and forth until the ipad recognizes it.It is so annoying… How can I fix this. I want to just plug it in once to let it start charging.
