Should I focus on buying an iPad or a new Laptop?

Because i have absolute NO IDEA what type of laptop to get, and if i get an ipad what is so significantly different between the models (newer & older generations) i dont think i will be getting the retina display or even the one with 3G.

as of now i have almost $400 saved up, so should i go ahead and buy an ipad or laptop? keep in mind that my birthday is coming up in February, so i could always ask for one of those.but which one should i get first?

How to get wifi in my room?

Hi. I just got a mini ipad for Christmas and I was wondering if there is a way to have the wifi reach my room? My computer is about 30 feet away from my room where I sleep, and whenever I try to go on the Internet in my room, it runs very slowly and only shows one bar. I don't know very much about the range of the wifi or about the connection. Could someone explain to me in an east way of how I can get the wifi to reach my room? Only serious answers, please.

Do BestBuy prices go down for New Years?

I am using my kindle warranty to trade it for an ipad mini. But I don't want to pay a lot for the difference. I also need to buy another warranty for the ipad.

I updated my iPad 2 and now the YouTube app is gone!

What happened?
Added (1). @John The app came with my iPad, and I couldn't delete it before I updated even if I wanted to. I've googled YouTube on the safari app and used it there before, but honestly I just like the way the app works better. I looked in the App Store and the same app isn't there. Geez you don't have to call me an idiot for preferring one thing over another or being curious as to why it got deleted.

Kindle Fire, Fire HD, or Ipad Mini?

I will use it to play games, listen to music, watching videos and do school work on.i want to know if the ipads are better than the kindles for what i am wanting to do. I have an iphone and all the apps and music would go straight to my ipad without any hassle.the only thing im worried about is the price for the ipad.and if its worth 329 bucks.or if i should just get a kindle, and if so, which version.
