Will this hurt an Ipad Mini?

Okay, I just got a brand new Ipad Mini and opened it. Then I cut the plastic the device to use the ports (used the main plastic that covers the iPad as a screen protector). After several hours of use, I noticed that dust and little specks of dirt (noticeable on the screen) are on my screen.My dad then recommended me to use a lint remover (removes hair and dust from clothes) on the screen to get rid of it… a few minutes later when I try looking for my cleaning cloth, he tries lint removing it. The lint remover is a bit strong, but the I tested out the iPad Mini after and luckily it still works.

Was there any damage done to it? I know the Mini has a very thin-layer of material that prevents the screen from oiling from the finger and palms of the hand, but I don't know if the lint remover damaged that or not. And I'm sure little specks of dirt and dust don't hurt it the unit right? D:

I've been looking around on purchasing a used Ipad.My husband purchased a Kindle Fire HD 16g, it's ok. I'm not too impressed on some of its games, they're slow and some games I cannot download because they're only for Apple. :( I saw someone playing solitaire on one 2yrs ago and she loved it, but she just got it. I was going to also use it for the internet. I was wondering if the Ipad was worth purchasing? I'm not going out to spend a ton of money and purchase a new one.Is the Ipad 2 ok and fast or should I look for a Ipad 3? Do they have good battery life can they cannot be replaced? Correct? I haven't comment iTunes on it yet from my laptop or got this soft where update thing. People say to me go onto soft where update which is in your setting then general but it's not there! :/ k dint cloud either! :/ #help

Want to add Wifi Spot to a bedroom with out a Wifi Modem?

Hi Guys,

My Girlfriend has a iPad and Laptop but the house hold doesnt have a WiFi router for her to use the iPad wirelessly.
… Without adding one and disturbing the "Households" connections, is there something we can add in her room so we can either Piggy-Back the Laptops connection out as Wireless to the iPad or to connect her LAN lead into something like a router to add WiFi to the house.

What i mean is the House has a Router and in her room she has a Blue LAN lead to her PC.
Wanna add Wifi to her room… etc

IPad 2 Wi-Fi ONLY HAS GPS?

***BEFORE YOU SAY THE IPAD 2 HAS NO GPS, PLEASE READ WHAT I HAVE TO SAY BELOW BEFORE ANSWERING THE QUESTION!***

So today at school I opened up my Maps app on my iPad 2 Wi-Fi only, it was not connected to any Wi-Fi hotspots but it pinpointed my school exactly, showing where I was. The maps did not load so it looked like it just pinpointed me on a yellow canvas, but I also dropped a pin there and when I went home and connected it to the Internet the dropped pin was exactly on my school. If people say the Wi-Fi only iPad doesn't have a GPS receiver, how did it know where I was exactly? Did it look up the mac addresses of surrounding Wi-Fi hotspots to get my location as I've noticed when I have Wi-Fi turned on that's the only time it can determine where I am, even though I'm not connected to any hotspots. Also, I'm not totally sure but I think where I was standing with the iPad there were no nearby Wi-Fi connections. Also I didn't look though so it could've picked one up from somewhere. Please tell me how the iPad knew where I (or "it") was. Thanks!
