I don’t understand Xfinity hotspots?

I don't understand Xfinity hotspots. I thought this was a service Comcast provided to their customers by opening up hotspots around town. I used to be able to log my ipad in at work using a hotspot with my Comcast log in information. Been doing it fine for months. Today I tried to log in and my ipad no longer shows the xfinity wifi option. When I called Comcast about it they said the building must have cancelled their wifi.So I guess I don't understand. The rep lead me to believe when I use hotposts I am logging into someone's service. I'm confused because I am using my own Comcast information so how I am logging into someones elses hotspot wifi with my info? Can someone please explain how hotspots work, who pays for them???

How to keep my apps when jailbreaking with evasi0n ios 6.1.2?

Hi

I have an ipad 4th generation and I wanted to jailbreak it using evasi0n.

So I wanted to know if I jailbreak it will my old apps that are installed on my iPad get removed or stay the same?
I have 200 or so apps from app store installed directly from the iPad.

Will I necessarily need to sync my apps with itunes in order to keep my apps or it's just for safety?

I'm a rookie so please explain if there is any chance of these apps getting removed during the jailbreak process.

How to reset the iPad I found at work?

I found an iPad at work and it has been 3 weeks and no one has come and claimed it, my boss said i can have it! the only problem is it has a password on it.is there anyway I can reset it back to factory settings?

IPad is frozen and wont connect to iTunes?

My iPad froze today when installing an app (the official faceboook app so i don't think the app was the problem) i switched it off but now it wont get past the silver apple logo when you switch it back on. I tried connecting it to iTunes but id doesn't recognise it so i cant restore it! I don't know what to do but any suggestions would be very helpful!

How to cancel a game update?

I started downloading the first version of asphalt7 & paused it for a while, but then I had to restore my ipad & the owner of the shop where I restored it updated my ipad version & installed for me the latest asphalt 7. But when i entered my apple ID the game sudenly changed and continued downloading the old asphalt7. How do I stop it?

IPad battery not lasting?

I have the new iPad 4 wifi with 4g

For the first two days my battery lasted the whole day and now the battery life is draining a lot faster, can it be that I'm using the cellular instead of wifi???

And if its any help my cellular SP is Vodacom.
