Elederly mother moved into care home, still uses iPad. Router upstairs in office and along fairly long corridor. She can get signal to surf and email but cannot stream tv etc. Which extender should I use? Is a TP link wall switch enough. Thanks.

My 90 year old mother recently moved into a care home - still uses her iPad! Wifi router is upstairs and at other end of building. She can get enough signal in her room to sort and email, but not enough to stream tv etc. What is best solution please, would a tp link wall plug extender be enough? Thanks.

Really bad situation- headphone jack stuck inside iPad, blocked by superglue?

Before I begin, I know how stupid this sounds but this happened to me college IPad and although they are insured I can't get it replaced by apple for obvious reasons. So my headphone jack broke inside my iPad, however only half of it so it was deep down. I tried multiple ways to get it out, including the superglue method, where you put superglue on things to try and yank it out. Long story short, these now superglue in the port along with the original jack. I have acetone but I don't know if that will damage the iPad. Advice please?

How can I update a game downloaded on an old iTunes account with a new iTunes account?

I downloaded Minecraft PE on my iPad using my dad s Apple ID. Then I changed the Apple ID on the iPad to my own. But, now when I go to update the game it prompts me to input the password of my dads old Apple ID. I don't want to delete and re-download the game and just download it with my ID because I have TONS of data that I want to keep but I need to update! How can I do this?

Can I take my laptop or iPad on the plane with me? I'm going to Egypt

Hi, I have a Holiday coming up and there's new rules with some gadgets on planes. I know I'm allowed my phone but I was just wondering if I'd be allowed my Laptop and iPad. If I'm not allowed to take my laptop or iPad in my hand luggage would I be able to take it in my luggage that won't be with me on the plane.

Can customs check iPads?

So I want to bring my iPad with me to Italy and I was wondering if the airport can check iPads. I don't feel comfortable handing it over to them so I personally don't want to let them have it. What will they check if they do check it? Is there a way to prevent it? What do they look for?
