Do laptops have to be on or off through airport security?

I can't remember the last time I travelled with my laptop at an airport, and I've always just had my iPad and airport security people said I didn't even have to take it out of my carry on but I got a new laptop and I heard you have to have the laptop in a separate bin, and does it have to be on?

Can't make in app purchases on iPad?

so for the past few weeks i've been unable to make in-app purchases on any of my games. I first thought it was a wifi issue, but i've since tried to complete an in app purchase at different locations.

it appears as if my screen freezes up with a black overlay, like it's continuously waiting to load, and the only way out of it is to close and reload the app.

I've tried restoring my iPad, resetting the networks, gone to restrictions to make sure in-app purchases aren't disabled, tried logging out of my apple id, logging back in, and just about everything… Was wondering if anyone else has had this problem? I've talked to apple support at least 3 times, but nothing has come out of any of them, and i've contacted them through email, and it's been two weeks.

It's starting to become bothersome because I have gift card money in my account that i can't use because of this issue.

Has anyone else had this happen before, and if so, what did you do? Thanks!

Going in for a training shift for a counter job at a computer repair shop, what should I brush up on?

I decided to hand out a resume to a shop in this town I just moved to. I've been finishing my degree in Digital Media for a while, and I thought the job was going to be in web design. In reality, they want me to basically ring in computers (Windows, Mac) and phones (android, iphone, ipads) and check out problems to make sure they don't have to be sent for repair.

While I've taken the A+ certificate in the past, I never got to utilize it, and am not very savvy with phones. While I've decided to read up on my notes from the A+ course and watch videos on simple fixes for problems with phones etc. Does anyone else know what I should be studying or reading up on? I really don't want to go for the shift and be unprepared. While it is not becoming a repair technician, I expect they'll want me to have a cursory knowledge of how everything works.

Thank-you!

Is my christmas list reasonable?

Ok, so here it is:
-A wacom art tablet
-A computer
-An iPhone

I understand this is sort of expensive, but I only want a phone because I don't have one, I only have an iPad mini that s falling to bits. I don't need the computer, it would just be a nice thing to have, so I could use it with the art tablet.

What do you actually do at a doctors surgery?

Okay so i'm 15, and I think I might have bv. I'm aware the best thing to do is to go to the doctors but I really don't know how it all works. I know where my doctors surgery actually is, but I hear people referring to doctor? I didn't know I had a specific one and if I do I have no idea who it is. I'm not asking my mum or getting her involved unless it's an emergency. But I've got really bad anxiety also and can't imagine myself walking into my my doctors and just playing it by ear, I would have to plan it all out perfectly and practice what I was going to say. I know that my doctors has this ipad thing near the waiting room where you type your birth date in and they recognise that you're sat down waiting but I think that's just for if you've booked an appointment. I don't know if I have to book one, or if I can just turn up, and if I did just turn up what would I say? Sounds like a really silly question but any advice would be super helpful!

IMessages not going to my iPhone but iPad?

I've never had a problem before, all my messages are supposed to go to my iPhone and iPad. Today I got phone calls from people saying they've been texting me and I haven't replied and i said I didn't get a text from you. My phone did not receive any texts from 2-7 AM. I was sleeping and I turned my phone off around this time. But for some reason I did not receive anything this morning? Usually when I turn my phone on in the morning it all comes through again. Why did my iPhone do this?

WiFi Internal Problem?

I have a Windows 10 PC for 3 years now and my only concern is its connection to the wifi.

My computer is intermittently disconnecting itself from the WiFi saying "no access" with and "!" beside the taskbar icon. This happens every few hours, in the middle of browsing, video, gaming etc. Then shortly after, it creates a buzzing sound. The connection does not slow down regardless of how many devices are connected. It just stops connecting immediately.

The way I fix it is either I restart the computer, disable/enable through device manager or turn the wifi on/off in networking. It is becoming a nuisance and has been interfering with my work.

I do not restart the router since I observed that I think its the computer that has the problem not the router, since other devices within the household (ipads/phones/other laptops/netflix etc.) is connecting well without any interruptions. It is only my PC that experiences it.

I need help to understand the source of the problem, doing quick fixes will not get me anywhere.

Thank you.
