Will financing a purchase hurt my credit?

Here's my situation.My laptop died recently, and I need something to do my school work on for next semester, so I need to get an iPad or cheap laptop or something. Hopefully nothing over $500. I have a steady job and can make monthly payments, I just can't pay for it all at once.

I have tried to avoid a credit card, and I'm not sure how credit scores work, but I really need something to do my work on.So my question is if I get a credit card, can I purchase an iPad/Laptop and pay it off over a couple of months? and if I do, will that hurt my credit score? From what I know, one is supposed to pay of the full balance every month.

Should I get an ipod touch instead of an ipad?

I have 2 iPads, one 3rd generation and one 1st generation. I was thinking maybe I could sell my 1st generation iPad and get an iPod touch with the money? Since I'm in middle school and bus rides and lunch are extremely boring, I would play it there. Also from time to time we have electronics out in class, so I'm stuck with a crappy mp3 watching someone else play on their iPod.So should I do it? 2 iPads seem a bit overkill so I want to sell my old one. The new one is faster and less buggy.

What's a good excuse to tell my coach I can't go to practice?

Im in color guard and I need to email my coach saying its my mom (I'm doing it through her email on her iPad) because i cant go to practice this week cuz i need to raise my grade in english first, but my i can't just email them a silly excuse, it needs to be something good, I can't tell them I'm sick cuz I already used that for my Saturday practice last week.So please help me find a good excuse not to go to practice Wednesday or Friday.

Currently, I have a Pantech Link 2 and an iPod touch 4G. I am getting really sick of my iPod touch and my phone. They are both extremely spazzy and crash all the time. Problem is, I am not eligible for an upgrade until 2014! I don't mind paying the ETF, though. I would really like the iPhone 5, but, I wouldn't mind the iPad mini either.As for paying for the plan for the iPhone, I have worked out a deal with my mom. The total for me a month to have one is 30 dollars and my mom agreed to pay 15 and I will pay 15. The one I want more is the iPhone 5. BTW, I am 13 year old boy.

What does renew your lease mean on my ipad?

I was fooling around in my network settings then at the bottom or somewhere in network it said "Would you like to renew your lease so i clicked yes.ever since that happend i didnt have internet on my ipad like i coudnt go on youtube and games with that needed internet to connect, it would say Cannot connect to YouTube.So Please Tell Me How to fix it so i can have internet.
