How can i fix an ipad that is stuck on the apple logo screen?

A year ago my boyfriend passed away and his dad gifted me his ipad pro and it is logged into his email for iTunes but i've been able to use it and also sign into my iTunes to download apps but recently I updated it and when I turned it on after it just stays on the apple logo screen. It has been like this for weeks and I finally tried to plug it into iTunes to see if I could reset it but in order to work it needs me to respond on my ipad but I can't because its stuck on the logo so I don't know what to do. Help?

I got help thru security and login settings and it said they went on iPad, Windows Pc and this person is annoying me they keep reading my messages. I need them out my business. How do I stop them from going on my fb? So now what? How do I stop them from logging into my account and or reading my messages? I changed my password a few time and that didn't work. What do I do?

I literally had the worst day ever. I lost an expensive shoe and my family is quite poor at the moment. I mad my mum 45 mins late?

for work and now she has to do time owing. I also managed to crack my iPad screen and one of my best friends boyfriend cheated on her and it's all getting to my head. Help me resolve this frustrating dilemma? Here it is: I bought a new iPad last night and created a username and password. Then

I went on the internet for a couple of hours.

When I woke up this morning, and tried to browse the internet again, I saw the following message on the screen:

"iPad is disabled. Connect to iTunes"

So, I went on my desktop and downloaded iTunes. I opened iTunes and connected my iPad to my desktop and got the following message:

"iTunes could not connect to the iPad because it is locked with a passcode. You must enter your passcode on the iPad before it can be used with iTunes."

So, I'm stuck in a catch-22. I can do absolutely NOTHING with my iPad (including entering my passcode) because I have to connect to iTunes. But, I can't connect to iTunes unless I enter a passcode in my iPad.
