Best note-taking device for math notes?

I like writing down my notes, especially for math, but I definitely need a laptop with me because i'm a CS student so I will need it to code. However, is there such a device that you can write on a "tablet-like device" and whatever you write down, screens directly on your laptop screen?
Or do you guys know a good device to take math notes? Aside from an ipad?

I need a new tablet?

I currently use an Ipad air that I got years ago. While the thing has lasted long, it's battery life has gone down terribly and ir freezes miltiple rimes a day. I use procreate on it for my art and absolutely love the app. I'm looking for a good tablet that is reasonably priced as well as a new apo similar to procreate if the tablet is android. Thanks

I used to attend a school where we had to have an iPad. I was curious if using their WiFi they could see what apps I used or what I was looking at while using and also when not using their WiFi. I know it seems like a weird question, but people say things about using other's WiFi and how they can see your information. Thank you.
