I recently started college and my professors base their lectures on PowerPoint. I know that if I end up getting a MacBook, I can download Microsoft Office. I'm not very picky other than the fact that I need something portable to bring to class (either or) and I need to be able to access PowerPoint on a daily basis. Also, I need to know if the MacBook Air (which I am leaning towards) is actually durable, I'm worried because it's so thin.

Added (1). Is there an Office app for the iPad?
Added (2). Update: I looked on the app store with my iPhone and I noticed there was an app for PowerPoint.
So I guess it's just, which is more practical :/
