I've been having some problems with my iPad?

I have an iPad 2 and I haven't used it in a few months.
Then I decided I wanted to play one of my old games again, (Clash of Clans) so I got it started, charged it, connected it to the Internet, and discovered that the game needed an update. So I tried to update it and it would try for about a minute and then just go back to needing an update without even notifying me to tell me the update failed. This also happened with all my other apps.
So I googled it and it said to just update the software. Well, I went to settings, and sure enough, software 7.1.2 was available.
I then attepted to update my iPad's software. It started verifying the update, and then just said that the update was unavailable with no reason why.
I'm currently downloading Itunes onto my computer (Windows 7) so that I can update it through the computer. If it actually downloads and it actually lets me update my iPad, then HOPEFULLY that will solve the problem of it not updating my apps.
So my question is this:
Are there ANY other faster ways of getting my iPad to update my apps? I don't really car eabout the software, I just want it to update my apps.

Fiance chatted online to another woman?

Please help, I have been with my fiancé now for almost 3 years. He has this app on his iphone where he plays a game, bit like grand theft auto and along with the game comes a chat room for the players to discuss their results of the game ect. People from all over the world play this game. Anyway it was on the ipad last week and I opened it, just being nosey to be honest and on the chat room he was having a private chat with a lady in amercia. I looked through the whole chat and he has been talking with her for 6 months and nothing inappropriate unil last week for half an hour where he was talking sexually with her. I questioned him about it and he said it was banter and he don’t think hes done anything wrong because she is a lesbian (she states in the chat that she is bi-sexual) he said it was just banter and not a big deal. It was definatly not banter, he was saying I would make your legs wobble a girl couldn’t do that and I would make you squeal. He also said he was home alone lonely when I was next door. Can I trust this man going forward or am I just delaying the inevitable of him eventually cheating on me or is this cheating? He has never cheated on me so far. We did go through a rough patch 2 years ago where we split for a few days (before we lived together and was engaged) and he joined a dating website in a 3 day split (apparently cause he was hurting

IPad Mini Battery Help?

I've got an iPad mini, and I FaceTime my bestfriend who lives 200 miles away pretty much everyday!
Everytime I'm on FaceTime I charge my battery when it gets to about 10%.
But yesterday when I plugged it in to charge it didn't. It said it was charging,
It had the lightning bolt but the battery still kept going down, it didn't go down as quick but it wasn't charging like it was meant to. It charges normally when I'm not on FaceTime and when I'm doing anything else, it just doesn't charge when I'm on FaceTime but it used to, it just stopped doing it!

Why doesn't it charge anymore when I'm on FaceTime like it used to.
How can I get it to charge the battery instead of draining it!

My friend had the exact same problem before, she changed her charger and it worked fine, I've brought a new charger and it's still not working.

How to unlock a reported lost IPad?

I currently have an IPad that was reported lost by my roommate, It all started when I let him use my upgrade on my AT&T account with the promises he was going to pay his part. When the time came to pay the bill he never did so I eventually my services were suspended, He didn't care and activated the IPad with a different sim card and whatever. I now owe AT&T around $1,500 and my credit is history. I moved out and in that process I took the IPad with out him knowing if eventually I am the one who's going to pay for the darn thing fair is fair right? Anyways I am not an apple person so I didn't think I wasn't going to be able to use it or whatever but then he reported it lost with ICloud. I call him to give me the password and I am just done arguing with him but I really want to be able to use or sell this thing but question is how do I unlock it or wipe it or something without needing to get a password for it?

Out-of-state medical schools vs Being close to family?

I applied to medical school for the 2015 admission year. The thing is… Since my MCAT score is a 30 (with a 8 in verbal - acceptable at some schools but less than stellar), I applied broadly. And being a CA resident, I didn't really have high hopes on getting admitted to a CA medical school. The competition is just too fierce. And with medical-school admission rate being ~1%, I just want to get into a medical school.

There are some options besides going out of state. I can attend Western's osteopathic program, which is about $20K more in tuition than a public allopathic school. I don't have that much money saved up. The tuition is the thing that turns me off about Western's osteopathic program. It's just plain expensive.

So as it is right now, I am not competitive for California's allopathic program, and I am not sure if I am willing to take out $20K more in loans every year to attend an osteopathic program in the state.

However, my 90+ year old grandma just decided to move into town. She has expressed that she'd like to see me on a daily basis - to keep her company and etc. I don't mind doing so (since she and I were always close), but it means limiting myself to competitive allopathic medical schools in CA or an expensive DO program. I don't know what to do. I feel guilty for going out of state to attend a less competitive allopathic program.

I was thinking about iPad and Facetime. Can you do rotations in CA?
