My laptop is slow only on certain sites. Can this be fixed?

I don't think it's the cause but I just got a new internet provider and now a couple sites I visit are painfully slow. I'm talking a full minute or two just to load a text page. Wierdly enough the site loads faster on my iPad on the same internet connection. My computer works fine on most other sites so I'm curious as to what could be causing the long loading. Any theories?

Should I be worried?

I woke up yesterday morning only to find that the ipad that I've been using had been "lost and erased." It wasn't that big of a problem because I backed everything up on icloud. But still I heard that you can report your device as "lost" and erase it through Find My Iphone. But the problem is, I'm the only one who knows the password. And there's no way I could have done it. Should I be worried about a hacker of some sorts?

Macbook pro/ iPad Pro for journalism student?

Hi there, I'm taking a degree in journalism and I have no idea what I'll be facing in my course yet but I do know that they'll be presentations, video-editing (youtube-assignments) & document writing for sure. I need a new computer and I've been wanting a macbook pro since forever but I'm not sure which one to get, what configurations, how much power do I need and etc. Also, I would expect to use it for a very long time. And also, I'm also considering the ipad pro, because ios 11 seems pretty handy. I don't know what to choose, and what configurations should I get for the products? Please help.
