Prom emergency?! Help?!

I have a week until prom, and my parents are refusing to by my prom stuff, saying I have to buy it myself. I have no money, and won't do, so what can I do?! I have nothing to sell part from my phone and iPad. Should I sell that? I need money, I've always wanted to go to prom!

IPad Not Working Properly?

I have had my iPad Air 2 since December last year and it has been working fine. Today when I went to use it, the button to turn volume down was not very easy to press and when I type, it sometimes doesn't pick up my touch. I did drop it on a carpet yesterday from about 0.5m in the air… Could this be a factor? I also have AppleCare just in case something like this were to happen. What should I do?

Should I get rid of my iPad mini?

Okay so I am getting an 11 inch MacBook Air, and I was wondering if I will still use my iPad mini or if I should just sell it. It sounds like a silly question, but I have had it for almost 2 years, and even as I type on it right now the words are lagging. I could also use some of the money for the macbook I am going to purchase, but will I still use the thing? Thanks!
Added (1). I also want to down size on all the stuff I have. I am tired of carrying around a laptop (that recently died which is why I am getting a new one) and an ipad, but then again would I just waste my money trying to sell the thing?

Adobe Acrobat X Pro - Filled out fields not showing on mobile devices in email clients?

I designed a new invoice form in InDesign and exported as a PDF. Then in Adobe Acrobat X Pro, I added the necessary fields and saved. Now, when someone fills out the invoice and emails it back to me, I can see the filled out fields on the form when I view from my desktop (iMac & Gmail) but when I try to view the PDF from a mobile device such as iPhone and iPad, the original form shows with none of the fields filled out. This is quite the issue because when accountants etc. Try to view it from their mobile, they just see the blank design. Help!

Is being too perceptive at a young age a good thing?

My nephew's four-years-old (almost five) and I love as if he were the little brother I never had (I'm sixteen, by the way). He's a smart kid and he's very witty for a kid his age. However, I'm not sure if he's a little too smart for his age.

My brother and his family came to visit for the 4th of July. We had a conversation about the kids. From what I was told, my step-niece's father lives about ten minutes away from where they live (my brother's in the Marines) so he's able to see her whenever he wants and they Face-Time everyday.

Here's where my nephew's mother comes into play: She doesn't attempt to call him and see how he's doing. Apparently, she just sends texts and makes up half-*** excuses and inconveniences about why she couldn't visit him. The only time she visits is when they come over to my home.

Anyways, my nephew has definitely noticed something's up. I can imagine that when he sees his step-sister talking with her father on her iPad, he's probably thinking 'When's it going to be my turn?' or 'Where's my mommy?'. Don't get me wrong. My nephew is a very happy kid but sometimes he'll just burst out crying and say things like 'I miss my mommy'. (Keep in mind that me and my family aren't exactly on good terms with his mom anymore).

So, there's the story. My question: Is there something that we all should be doing? I know he's young, but I'm not asking about something that could be traumatizing for a kid his age.
Added (1). Just a little something to consider as you think of an answer: My older brother has gotten a divorced and remarried a nice woman. They both have kids of their own, my nephew (four-years-old going on five) and my step-niece (a year older). As of five months ago, my brother's new wife had just given birth to their daughter.

I think my ipad is broken?

I usually tap the home button and on button and the plug in sign would come up. I would charge it and then when it was charged enough i would try to turn it on and the screen would be just black. Nothing?

it would be best to know if i need to go get it fixed or if i can fix it at home lots of pictures are on there that carry memories.

Its either a first or second gen ipad and i've had it for 4-5 years and never had problems with it.

Note i brought it to school for work and i think i bumped it on something to make the screen disable but idk.

Thanks
