Should I get an Ipod 5th Gen, iPad mini or wait?

Hi

Since my birthday is coming up, my dad is buying me either an iPad mini or iPod touch 5th gen.

I already have an iPod touch 4th gen 8gb but I can't fit all my music in or download a lot of apps to it. I like the design of the iPad mini as it's great for reading and for playing games but I also like the new iPod touch the the ability to put more music into it and the camera quality.

How to over come being homesick?

Hello, my parents are divorced so last year i moved across the country from the west coast to the east coast with my mom and her boyfriend. This summer i decided to go see my dad for four weeks since i haven't seen him in a year, so i flew to the west coast. First off the plane ride was horrible, but when i got here i was exited and stuff but my dad works so i spend the days he is working at my friends they are basically my 2nd family. Well i starting to feel extremely homesick, because its so hot outside for the past 4 days so theres nothing to do so my friends are basically just sitting around the house watching tv or playing on phones and iPads. I'm bored because i'm not really into that kinda of stuff so it gives me all this time to think of home and what i'm going to do when i get back home, in the east coast. I just really want to be at home in the east coast but i still have to be here for 2 or 3 more week. I want to be in my own bed mainly and room and be with my mom and cat. Btw i'm 14 and this is the longest i have ever been away from home. Any advice? Thank you sorry if was confusing and long.

A broken iPad 3 screen- what are my options?

It completely cracked. And half the touch screen doesnt work, which means I can't even type in my passcode.annnd I'm freaking out.
What I want to know is, can it be fixed? And if it can, how much will it cost me and will I lose any data? And does the fact that my touch screen doesn't work on some areas of the screen mean that I'm facing a bigger problem?
Also, I'm aware of Apple's policy on accidental damage to Apple devices, concerning the replacement of an iPad for half price. And I suck at anything DIY so I don't need any tutorials on replacing the screen myself either.

For example, we would have missed the 100th Anniversary of the Lincoln Highway in Kearney, Nebraska if someone I know hadn't recently talked about the Lincoln Highway and knew we were going through Nebraska. Neither of us, though, knew it was turning 100 years old AND by sheer chance we would be passing by during the celebratory week. Our family does not want to miss out on these kinds of things and there are too many guidebooks that would have to be purchased!

How can I backup my Itunes library and have the ability to restore to my computer in case my computer crashes?

IPad is updating but I don't know my iOS?

Ok so my iPad needed updated so I went to settings and updated it.It now says I need to plug it into iTunes. I looked it up and it says I need to know my iOS firmware or something like that. I blink weirdly, I dart my eyes, what is wrong with me?

So ever since I have finished my exams for school, I've been blinking weirdly like I would blink hard, then dart my eyes around the room. I will also blink many times in a row ever once in a while for no reason, I also wear contacts, I read a lot on my ipad, I current have summer school (stress). I dont want to blink weirdly, I dont know what is wrong with me :( How can I fix this? Thank you for reading

I just want to die! I'm so scared!

I'm so scared, paranoid, nervous and it's making me sick and bring me to tears and panic attacks!

Basically it started an hour ago…
My dad was talking to my mum, saying "I had a message from the police today telling me to stop going in a certain website" to which she replied "what website" to which he said "not until he's on bed" ( he being me, the only boy and other person in the house at the time)
So I'm panicking! It's clearly about me! Now I haven't been on any bad websites. I don't think! I'm not stupid and I'm careful in the Internet but what if I did one day, by mistake or pure stupidity? I ranking my brain trying to remember any 'bad' website I may of been on.i have so much going on in my head I don't know what to do! But I do watch porn… Which I don't think is illegal, unless a website I went on is. ( I don't watch any sick or any bad type of porn ) but the main thing that is scarring me if it is porn then I screwed! I'm gay so I watch gay porn! The police man would of told my dad what type of site it was. I'm only 16 I'm not ready to come out yet and my family is extremely homophobic! Also I have been having less and less gay thoughts and generally I'm getting more heterosexual! In the depths on my depression where I have almost killed myself I had searched suicide stuff I'm no longer that bad but again it's something they don't know nor ever will know anything about! It was never on a pc ( the porn) always off my iPad and at my other home ( where I am more ), I go on the same sites if not more and I don't think I have ever had a problem there!
And non it going to be ok, it's for the best crap! I'm hiding away almost crying! I don't think I have e ever been on any bad sites! Can the police do this? ( I have so much more to say but I'm so panicked I forgot, if I remember I shall add it in )

But It's clearly about me, what if its about my porn… Or anything else!
I'm having a panic attack now I can't sleep! I can't talk to him about it I get to nervous and start feeling faint if i get crowded I awful in these situations! I just want to run away?

IPad mini camera acces from lock screen?

On most apple devices you can access your camera and take a picture or video without unlocking your device but on my iPad mini it has a little thing where instead of being able to take pictures or videos without unlocking it you get a slideshow of your photos. Can I change it so I can take pictures? If so how? I've looked in the settings but I can't find anything that can do this

My iPad is locked from unauthorized iOS 7 beta 2!

I stupidly tried to get the new ios 7 beta 2 on my iPad today without a UDID or dev account and it is now showing Activation Error, saying I have to log in to the developer website and add it to my developer account (it says the same thing in iTunes and shows no other info or options). Well I don't have one. All I want to do is restore my iPad to the newest ios 6 version and have a working ipad again. I don't care if I lose my data, I just need to fix this. Please help!

My ipad isn't working? - 1

My ipad isn't functional for some reason. When I attempt to turn the device on, nothing will happen! Its like dead! How do I fix this! BTW: I accidentally drilled a hole through the entire ipad but i dont think that has anything to do with it.

IPad app won't download?

I wanted to download a game for my iPad, but it said i didn't have enough room. I looked at how much space it took up on App Store and it said 462 MB, so I deleted apps and photos off my ipad, but it still said not enough space.My ipad storage says 724 MB available.
In case something was wrong, I removed the game icon from my ipad and went back to App Store to download it again, but instead of a button saying 'free' or 'install', it had a button with an iCloud picture on it.
So I deleted all my back ups from iCloud, but the game STILL didnt download!

What's wrong? Why won't it download?

So i am soon gonna buy a tablet.It will be the first ever tablet that i would ever own. I have very less experiences in tablets.So i am intrested in mid size tablets like these. But i am very confused which tablet to go for. I am both experienced with IOS as well as android, So i will tell the qualities i want in my new tablet.so according to them please suggest me a good one

I am a little confused as to whether you can watch rented itunes movies without wifi. I'll put it this way: I am going on a long car trip soon and I am thinking of renting a movie to watch on the way. IPad Mini and Youtube problem?

So, I have an iPad mini, have had it since march, and I am always watching YouTube videos on it with the slight problem of playback errors. Just a few moments ago, I was on YouTube and full screened it, then it said playback error and there was no way to get out. I almost deleted the app but then the data would be gone, so I stopped myself and rebooted it, so please tell me this: while in YouTube trying to watch videos I get the words ' No stream ' pop up and I've tried multiple times on one video, then started to try other videos, but get nothing. How do I fix this situation? I have never gotten this problem before. Can someone please answer this soon?

I was told that my husband was cheated on me?

I was told that my husband cheated on me when i was pregnant with his child we were engaged but not yet married, i have a friend at his work who on a drunken evening confirmed that she thinks it was someone at work, i think she knew for certain but didn't want to cause problems - i was given a name.
i spoke to my husband about this he didn't get angry just quite and tried to walk away, i wouldn't let him, he denied it happened. we have a good marriage with kids, and it was at least 5 years ago that this would have happened.although this whole thing has been very upsetting for me i want to forget all about it! i don't want my marriage to change i love him and believe that if it did happen it was a mistake.
however i am now going mental i want to stop being suspicious but i cant. I know he is not doing anything now but i went on to my Ipad - it is mine and went onto facebook to send my friend a message, i soon realised it was his but rather than logout i read his messages from other women.one woman repeatedly sent him messages that she missed him very much and actually said 'i know i probably shouldnt say this'? i asked him about this and i feel terrible now because he is right she was flirting with him but he wasn't back it was a 45 year old woman with kids and a husband who he used to serve at work but he has moved building so doesn't see her anymore, he said if it was something i didn't want anyone to see i would have deleted it, its just a woman who quite likes me but i have said nor done nothing wrong with her…
how can i stop being suspicious the feeling i have when i think i have found something wrong is horrible, and i don't think he did do anything wrong with facebook woman.can someone please tell me how to stop ny suspicions or it may break my marriage

Which of these two character personalities do you like better?

I decided to make the character a girl. I have two personalities in mind, and they're quite different from each other. Can you look at them and give me some feedback on which one would be better?

Personality 1: Cold and brutally honest, she is not afraid to voice her opinions, even if they seem rude. She's a bit skeptical of who to trust and often suspects people have another motive when they talk to her. She attempts to crack jokes here and there when she warms up to someone, but they often just make her seem sadistic.

Personality 2. She's an energetic and eccentric girl, blurting whatever comes to her mind, no matter how strange or random it is. Terrible at telling the atmosphere, her comments can be out of place. When consulted by a stranger, she'll observe them very closely, and come up with conclusions about them.

So my Sony tablet s broke so if was taken back to the shop to be sent to Sony to be repaired, they said they wanted the store to pay £180 to repair the tablet, they aren't going to pay this fee so they have given me a full refund of £350 in store credit
.So do I replace my tablet with an ipad or a different tablet or do I wait for the ps4 to come out. I've got access to a windows 8 laptop for my work so there isn't a need for me to get a laptop. Did my husband cheat?

There was a girl Taylor who used to talk to my husband a long time ago before I met him, then we started dating and he stopped talking to her. Then in the spring he got a picture message from her of her vag… He deleted it right away and seemed mad. Then he went to work in Texas for three weeks, and came back then when he went back to work I was trying to search for something on the iPad and a conversation came up… It was Taylor and my husband talking and sending pictures, she said whatever you show me ill show you" "your teasin" "I see what your hiding at the waist" "have you used tiger text before?" But the messages were deleted so I could only see things that she was saying, not what he was replying with… So I looked at Skype and there were some instant messages there too… Both of them chatting… She said I look terrible he said no you don't I wouldn't lie, show me more… I confronted him last night about it … He said it wasn't him and while he was in Texas he left his iPad out and they were drinking and his friends must have been chatting with her… Does that even sound believable! Idk what to think… He felt bad I could tell and he was so scared I would leave him. What do you think? IPad Mini won't turn on? - 1

It was at low battery so I left it to charge for a couple hours, and when I came back, the iPad was very hot all around and the screen would not appear. I tried both the soft/hard reset where I hold down the lock and home button for 15-20 seconds and that did not work. I also tried connecting the iPad to my MacBook and that proved to fail as well. Tomorrow I plan on visiting the Apple Store, but does anyone have a home solution this problem? I'd really like to figure it out on my own.

Will the Ipad 2 Screen Work even when open?

Lets say I opened up my ipad 2 so the screen is unscrewed or "unglued" from the body as if I was half way replacing the screen will it still turn on? The reason I ask is because I want to try and combine it with my wacom bamboo pen tablet to turn it to a makeshift cintiq. I have seen this done with old laptop screens and intuos but not with a tablet.My plan is to use an app on the ipad to duplicate my computer screen such as airdisplay then underneath the screen would be the bamboo pen.sounds ridiculous but it could work.

I recently downloaded this stupid apps in the apple store and paid $0.99 for it only to find out that it doesnt work on my ipad and always crashes.Is there a way to take back my $0.99? I have no idea what to do.?

I'm adopted and 14, I am of Danish origin but I live in England with what I like to call my sister, mother and dad (None are related to me). I'm grateful that they adopted me but I'm really starting to hold a grudge against them.

My sister is 17, she get's everything and has never worked or does any chores and yet she get's £30 a week for absolutely nothing. She has her own car which she can't drive yet brought by her parents. Last Christmas she got several expensive items such as an Ipad, Iphone and a laptop (Repeats for her birthday). She pays no rent and is allowed as many friends over and can throw parties when ever she wants. Her family (Including uncles, aunties etc… ) give her anything she wants.

I am 14 years old adopted at 10 years old. I'm not allowed a phone and for Christmas I got a shirt (Which I am grateful for but seems petty compared to my sister). For my birthday I'll get a bag of sweets which is fantastic! yet seems petty compared to my sister. The uncles and aunties want nothing to do with me. The household get intimidated a lot when I speak Danish to my friends on the internet and tell me to shut up or speak English (Over Skype). I have been forced to get a job because I am now paying rent… and this is along side me starting GCSE's at school. I have two paperounds (One before and after school) and I work in a restaurant on weekends. The rent varies on how much the household needs to last each month (We are always very low on money and my rent is always £200+ a month) I have been researching this and they do own me and everything I have until I get to 16. Still I think it's unfair. Compared to my sister who has to do nothing. I am made to cook for my family under the excuse that it is a life skill and I need to practice it. I have resorted to helping my friend sell canabis for extra money which has earned me my own computer parts to assemble which is pretty much all I own in this house.

I think my parents only want me just so they can milk the money out of me, what do you think? what can I do? I've tried rebelling and it ends up with anything in my room is given to my sister. I did have a 32" 3D tv which I saved up with my real jobs but due to my rebellious actions it was given to my sister.

Please help.
Added (1). Yes I have tried to talk to them calmly, I have tried every way of confrontation and they say I should be grateful for having them adopt me. Which is true I should be but this is… a little over the top.
Added (2). No I have not had contact with any social worker since I was 12, I have become independent and have hardly anything to do with social services now.

My ipad 2 got wet and it keeps turning off? 10++ POINTS!

It got wet when i was bathing.It was right by me, and I didnt know it would get that wet, there were a few drops but every 3 or 5 minutes later it was getting wet, at the back the water was collecting and all of the sudden it stopped. I finished bathing in like 1 minute later, I picked it up, I dried it and then it was working fine then I started playing a game and it shut off by it self right where i opened the game. And now its working fine but keeps turning off randomly. :( I am so sad.Do you guys know any Apple/Mac stores near Flushing, New York?

Should I be worried about this?

So I noticed that my boyfriend may feel something for one of my friends in my class. When she passed in front of us one time, he smacked her bum with his ipad. And we were together again and another friend was playing with a flower, he took it and went to give it to her. While I was there. And other stuff.So I asked him about her and he said he just thinks she has a nice body and may want to touch her boobs and bum.

I know that that is something that is normal to humans. What's Wrong with my iPad? (3rd Gen)?

I have an Apple iPad 3rd gen, and some parts of the touchscreen stopped working. (for example: if you wanted to type "D" you would have to flip it to the side so you could press it because it didn't work in that place). Then, it started going crazy.It acts like it's possessed by a ghost.It will change screens, type things, go to apps, and just act like someone is pressing random things really fast. I took it to the Apple Store and they said it needed to be "restored." So they restored it there, and then when I got home, it started doing it all over again. This means it must be a hardware problem (they thought it was software problem). What will Apple do to fix this? And what's wrong with my iPad?

My mom just said today I can get a one of these from Verizon for school work and internet.It would be like my own "laptop". I had liked the Galaxy Tablet 2 10.1 screen and I think it had a stylus that came with it, but the iPad mini is nice also. I would use this for school and want the best quality and most features. I do have an iPhone 5 and iPod touch that's why I'm no sure about the iPad and was thinking of trying something different. I don't want to waste money and get something terrible. Basically my birthday is in one months time and I need to make a decision.
I have the PSP and the NDS Lite. I got the NDS Lite first because i was a fan of the animal crossing on the gamecube and then i started getting into pokemon.
So the only appealing games look good to me are:
Animal Crossing New Leaf
Pokemon X & Y
and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon

But the only reason that its putting me off is that it cant do anything else because i was going to get a iPad for my birthday because i watch alot of videos and then finding out that the 3DS cant do YouTube videos and i know there isnt much games out for the PS Vita but i love the screen and it can do other things. (Im a PC gamer but im hoping to get a PS4)

Dust under iPad mini screen?

Hello,
I recently purchased an iPad mini and I notice three small white dots on the screen. I tried removing them with a micro iber cloth but they look like they are under the screen. I suppose these are dust spots, they are visible when ipad is turned off or on. They are in the middle of the screen. Does it worth to replace the iPad or live with it? I heard it is very hard to find a perfect model.

My iPads iMessages isnt working?

The other day while sending a text through iMessage on my iPad, iMessages just left the app and when i tried to go back it was blank and after ten seconds it will just go back to the home screen. Today i am really feeling paranoid over my boyfriend. I know he loves me but i am worried that he may like a girl in my class. Should i buy the alienware 14?

I want to know if the batterly life is really poor or is it just during playing heavy games.As iPad also gives long battery life if i just browse, make presentations and stuff but when i play infinity blade 2, the battery discharges very fast.Is that the case in alienware that it doesnt offer good battery life if i play crysis 3 at 1080p or just that it has a poor battery? How long does it last?
Are the specs really good? And also should i buy windows 8 or windows 7 with the laptop?
How long will it be able to run games at high settings and high res? Is it more powerful than the upcoming consoles?
Also, how will it compare to my pc config?

What to do during a long car ride for the kids?

We're going on a 14 hour car trip this week. We will have 3 children in the car + an 8 month baby. We have iPods, iPads and DVD players but after you watch one or two movies and play a game for half an hour, the kids get bored. We found a couple car games but those will get old too. We take a lot of car trips but we pretty much always have the same problem. Please help! We're leaving Wednesday! Thank you!

It won't let me like statuses/pictures on Facebook?

I've tried it on my iPod and iPad and when I would press the "like" button, it likes the status/picture but then unlikes the status/picture in a second and I've tried to fix this problem by logging out and signing back in but it still keeps happening. Help please!

My Timeline will only show the four most recent posts?

As of yesterday, when I click on my name to go to my page, I only see the four most recent posts on my timeline. The only way to see the rest of my timeline is to view it as my friends see it, as they can all see it just fine. I tried changing browsers, computers, and even using other electronic devices. The Apple computer and my Windows both wouldn't show more than those 4 posts and the iPad had the same problem. Does anybody have a solution?

How to stop my 1yr old from biting everything?

If she sits in my lap and i rest my hand near her she will pick it up and start biting my fingers or hand.
But she bites everything, she will bite chairs, toys, tables, she's like the baby from series of unfortunate events!

She won't go over to someone and deliberately bite them but if you put your hand or arm near her she will. I have all bite marks on my ipad case from where she bites it

What do u think was going through his head?

We were doing the Relay4Life event at our school and we were both on the same team.At the beginning, there was an absolute down pour of rain and I wasn't really dressed for the cold so I was left completely shivering. He let me borrow his sweatshirt and when I put it on I could see him check me out in it. About an hour later my team started to walk the track and I kind of like the guy so I wanted to talk to him more while we were walking. He doesn't really talk that much and he's kinda quiet but I tried my best to make some conversation. When it started to get dark out pretty much everyone from our team just relaxed on the blankets we all set up under our canopy. The guy I like also has a twin brother who has a girlfriend, so they just cuddled under a blanket for hours and hours. I went to lay down next to the guy I like and I was kind of pressed up against him pretending that there wasn't much room for me to make space. We were like that for about an hour until we went walking around the track again. More into the night I tried talking to him and being with him as much as I could.At about 2am, some team members went off with other people while his brother and girlfriend were cuddling again, and a few others fell asleep. That left me and him alone on the blankets talking to each other. He tried teaching me how to play the ukelele he brought, we played games on his iPad, and I taught him a card game, etc. After that we got bored so we just laid down next to each other, and I was kinda up against him again cuz there was another guy asleep right next to me. We still made some more conversation throughout the rest of the night until 5am when we had to leave.

I met this low functioning autistic guy. He can barely speak, but can write and communicates through his ipad. I met him one day, he was in a park playing with some leaves, i got closer to him and i felt so enchanted, then i began to visit him sometimes at his house.i think that his autism, besides all of the stereotypies, is just a huge sensitiveness, he feels life and people so good.sometimes i can not understand him of course.sometimes i feel so far, so unsensitive, comparing to him.but when i spend some time with him, i have so much fun and i enjoy it so much and i learn many things about life.then, he is very affective, so sometimes he takes me and just kiss me on my lips, but everything is really innocent and funny.i know that many people would think i'm crazy.but, i cant stop thinking about him.i visit him something like once pro week, but knowing him has changed my life.and i cant get rid of him on my thoughts.i'm afraid i'm in love with him, he's just too special, and normal people are so boring and so without sensitivity! but this is not my question, doesn't matter what do i feel.i just wanted to ask, if anybody knows (altough is difficult to know because i know how complicated and unknown autism is), can low-functioning autistic people fall in love? like thinking about an other person, missing another person, wanting an other person… falling in love as we normal people do.whenever you cant answer, every little thing about this low-functioning world is very welcome! please, if you are one of those people who thinks that autistic people are retarded and without feelings, please dont write it here, i know very well that is not like this.

Deleting gmail account from iPad?

So, i recently logged on to my gmail account using the Mail feature on my iPad (instead of just doing it through Safari, which is what i always do normally).My problem is that iPad saves every freaking thing; so now when you go to Settings, under "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" it shows my gmail address. I've already made it "inactive", meaning, the new emails don't show up..but i don't want the iPad to even show my gmail account in Settings. I was going to delete it, but i'm afraid that it'll delete the whole freaking thing, like, the actual email, and i DO NOT want the actual email account deleted permanently or anything (i've got some emails that i have to keep). I just need it to be gone from the iPad.So, i guess my question is, if i click "delete account" on iPad, will it delete the actual email account with all the emails and stuff from everywhere or JUST the iPad? Thanks.

Okay, so i just got the ipad mini today, was going great until i tried to download apps from the app store.i signed in with my apple ID, and then it asked me for my credit card information? Note, that the app i selected stated it was free! I refuse to give out that information, it says it's free so why should I? Same story with the iTunes. Worst summer. Any ideas?

I have the worst summer and I need your help! My mom goes on Facebook. SHE SPENDS MORE TIME ON IT THAN WITH ME! My dad Is always working. I'm only asking to go to Disneyland for 1 day, I have roller skates. I want to skate. I have my pool, I want to go in it. And have play dates with friends. The only things I'm asking! The only thing I'm doing is watching TV, drawing, and going on iPad. And oh! I am going to the beach with Zendaya. I'm 10 by the way (almost 11)

I have an ipad, the first one.It was working fine then one day it ran out of charge and when I went to charge it, the screen came up with the no battery sign even thought it was plugged in. I thought it could be the plug so I used another one, but it still did this. I kept trying it and it still didnt work.So I left it and then today after about 3 months I plugged it in again and its turned on however says Ipad disabled connect to itunes, however the itunes is on my old laptop which isnt working properly. Will I be able to download itunes on to my new laptop and it will work? Thankyou x

I am looking into possibly renting e-textbooks from amazon onto my ipad this fall semester but I was unsure if I would need wifi access to access the book after I rented it? IPad 5 or new computer?

So I already have an iPad 2 however its starting to become quite slow now and I've noticed that I need more memory than just 16GB so I planned on upgrading to the iPad 5 32GB when it comes out.My dilemma is that my laptop is so old and slow and also needs upgrading. I'm not rich so I can't afford to get a new computer AND an iPad so I'm not sure what to do. Any advice would be nice :)
Added (1). I should probably also mention that I use my iPad wayyyy more than my laptop because I don't really like laptops to be honest. If I was to get a new computer, I'd probably get a desktop.

Why did my Ipad freeze up in my mail?

I tried replying to an email and it would not send it, saying would be set aside to send later.So I tried later and now I cannot "send" or "cancel" or anything. I am stuck ther and cannot do anything… I cannot go to other emails, other accounts or anything. I even went to settings and deleted that email account… No difference! How can I get out of that and return to my other emails and accounts? It is frustrating! Thanks for any help!

Hello, I'm 15 and I wasn't drinking or anything, I just wake up like "how did I get here?" in my bed. I try to think and eventually just assume one of my parents dragged me upstairs half-asleep after falling asleep downstairs. However, after pulling myself out of bed, I realised my iPad is on charge (don't hate on me, I know iPads are over-priced) so I'm utterly confused. I wouldn't have put it on charge of I was dragged upstairs because I would be too tired, and the few times before when I get dragged upstairs, my parents don't do it.

Sp anyway, is this normal to randomly lose a memory or should I call a doctor. Symptoms of anything?

About 5 years ago I met an 90 year old man living in assisted living.
I started taking him out for lunch and errands a couple of times a month when I would go to town ( I live about 25 miles out ).
Several other people also have provided him transportation and assistance.
About 2 months ago he decided to give 4 different people $500 gift cards to a computer store
( my self included ) then yesterday he called & asked for the gift card back.
He said he wanted to do something else with it.
( Everyone else had already picked up an iPad with their cards ).
Altho I didn't really need it, I felt it was a gift and rude to ask for it back.
As it was specific to the computer store, it can only be used there.
I did return the card, then he promptly asked me to drive him to several places.
I just do NOT feel like Ever being his taxi again !
Was he out of line or am I being too sensitive ?
Added (1). BBG - this was some of the cash he has in one of his brokerage accounts that he had forgotten about & the clerks asked what he wanted to do with it.
He lives in an upscale place and has multiple brokerage, savings and pension incomes.
He traveled the globe before entering assisted living and stayed at $200 to $300 a nite hotels 10 years ago.
Giving it to the people helping him for years was Totally his idea.
Tacky would be taking it from someone who can't pay their bills .

What is a good recording mic for vocals?

I have been debating whether or not to buy a microphone for a long time and I normally start thinking about it more around holidays and birthdays and such because I have gotten into the habit of making my mom covers of her favorite songs.

This past Mother's Day, I finally got around to writing her a song and I recorded it with my computer. She loved it, but I hate how my voice translates with the built in mic.

I now have a few finished, or almost finished songs and would like to record them on my computer. But the problem is that, obviously, the computer microphone is not very good and I normally sing pretty high, begin a soprano, that there is this ugly almost static like sound when I sing. I hate it.

So my question is: what microphone would be best for recording only vocals for a soprano voice?

I am looking to stay under 200 and that would include anything the mic needs extra, like a pop screen or whatever.

I am not very familiar with recording mics and I do all my music making with Garage Band on my laptop and iPad.
