Ipad mini or samsung galaxy tab 2 7.0?

Should I get the ipad mini or samsung galaxy tab 2 7.0?
I need for school purposes, downloading textbooks and other books, surfing the web, taking pictures and drawing on them, and i'd prefer to have it fit my purse so i can always bring it with me.
I not sure if the ipad mini will fit my purse, but ironically, i do like its bigger screen.
I've been told that samsung's open system might make it easier to get viruses and apple's closed system prevents that but i'm not sure if i should worry about that.
And the price doesnt matter significantly for me.
Which tablet do you guys think I should get?
Which one would you get?

Reckless driving ticket in virginia?

So I was driving on the interstate at a speed of 65mph on a 70mph road and i looked down to check my ipad for the directions and somehow I lost control of the wheel and went straight to the left side of the road. There were trenches and hills on the side and my car was tilted.My mom and I were afraid to get out. The airbags on both sides of my car popped out but not the ones in the front. I called 911, I told the police everything that happened and he gave me a reckless driving ticket. The funny thing is I didn't even know it was a ticket. I thought it wasn't that serious, but I did some research about reckless driving and I guess this could end up in my criminal record and points for my driving record. What do I do? I have to go to court in a month! I'm only 18! I don't know anything about this! I'm screwed.My life is basically over, no college will accept me now. Please help? any advice?
Added (1). You all obsiously know nothing about this topic. This question is more for people who have experienced the situation. I am not a drama queen. I'm freaking out because I've never done anything bad in my life ( you could ask people at my school and they will say I'm a good girl, even my teachers think so) and this stupid accident could ruin my future.yep!
PS my head bled and I stayed in the hospital for 4 hours waiting and being questioned about the accident. SMH people these days

I want to return my iPad Mini?

A few hours ago I had unboxed an iPad Mini that my Dad had bought me. Originally, I did want the product but then I had done some research and wanted the Nexus 7 instead.By then, they were already in the process of buying it, and I was stuck with it. I am still VERY grateful, as this is my first mobile device that can do something, but I didn't want to make them give me such an expensive devise when they could have gotten a better deal with the Nexus 7. ANYWHO, I still have everything (The box, receipt, papers, charger, ect.) so would I be able to return it for a full refund, and if not how much would I get back?

How much space do you really get on a 16GB iPad Mini?

Can i ask with the new iPad minis how much free space do you genuinely get out of the box.In case people aren't aware when you buy a 16gb device there is often a few gig taken up by the mandatory operating software.So a 16GB device might really only give you 13.5gb

Error message. Invalid session response from end system?

Hi. Just wondering if someone could respond with possible reasons or even guesses at why I am getting the following error messages when trying to place a bet on the TAB website on computer. Website is www.tab.com.au
Message:Error message. Invalid session response from end system
Then when trying to place a bet on my iPad the message is
Function has been locked out by system operator.

I will contact TAB about th issue tomorrow as they are closed but swimming events are coming up in 1hr and I wanted to bet on these events. Maybe someone could help for now or inform on what the issue might be ?

Ipad vs Galaxy tab.?

Hi, My laptop broke a few days ago.So now i'm taking the insurance pay out and buying myself a tablet.My choices are between the Samsung Galaxy Tab (P5100) and the Ipad (3)

I just wanted to know app wise is there much of a difference? If so what are they and would it really be an inconvenience?

And also on the other hand I live in South Africa, The apple support is horrible here, so if something should happen to the Ipad, i'd have to send it away.

Memory space is also quite important since I have A LOT of music that I need to store somewhere and school projects etc etc, and the only Ipad I can get is a 16GB or tops a 32GB but there is almost a R1000 difference (quite a lot for me) while the Galaxy can take a memory card

Keeping all that in mind, which should I take? And why, don't just say Ipad because you're a devoted apple user or visa versa !

Hi my name is Paul I love this guy we had a fight and I lost him ever time I been trying to get back with him but its been failing it been over three years seine the last day I have hugged him he was a nice guy and I'm at a point where I want to kill me self now as when I was with him I tried saying to him what I felt and I left it to late I was never in love before and I could not get it out and I did not felt that when I tried telling him I was in love with him and as I never felt love and when I had the flight with him that when I I know what was love felling one day like when I was with him I went fishing with him I was only 15 or so not sure i was in the boat and he asked what I want to tell him I never could of told him and I told him to not worry I felt happy when I was with him but when it was time to go home I was in the car and my sister drove me home I got upset and I did not know I cried and when I got home I went to my bed and just cried no one cared and now I know why I cried why was it when I'm at school no one talk about this felling I don't know what it is their should of told me then I could of asked him out me and him was gay and we kissed way before this but we never went out but ye this is just a bit now I want to recover my friend ship his 2nd dad die yesterday I think not sure i got told I think he would be asking my sister to go and all of us but me i would not go as he will be their but if I can some how get back with him I want to know If I go what should I try like try been at the back near the door and when he talks just walk away and and turn away and go out side and make sure he sees it and I just make sure I go out side and sit on a sit so I can talk and try telling how sorry I'm for his lost and then try talking to him about getting back like go out or I come over for tea and *** I'm not sure what to do

Sainsburys job site not working?

It works until I log in then it says error and says the page is not available, I thought it was just that job but every job I try it doesn't work. I've tried on my iPad, laptop and I want to apply soon because I don't know the closing date. Any advice!

My facebook wont load?

My facebook wont load all the way. I see I have messages and I can see one or two adds but thats it. I can use it fine on ipad but not on laptop. This happened last night. Everything else on laptop opens fine. Why is this facebook is obviously not down..Please explain as plainly as possible
Added (1). I deleted cookies into temp files it didnt work so I restored it..I used system restore..and restarted still nothing..How can i clean the cache?

Getting iOS6 (Update Software) on iPad 2?

I have an iPad 2 and an updated Macbook. Everything is up to date: iTunes, Software updates.
I want to get iOS 6 on my iPad 2.It has downloaded but when it is 'Extracting the Software'
it comes up with this error message:
The iPad cannot be restored at this time because the iPad software update server could not be contacted or is temporarily unavailable.
Please try again later.

(Then I can click):
'More Information' or 'OK'.

On 'More Information' it just takes me too the Apple Support Site telling me to make sure me software is updated and to restart my computer etc.

This isn't the first time this has happened.
It happened with my sister's iPad (2) as well.At Christmas.
With the same error message. We called and the women checked the server and she said it was all working correctly (the Apple servers) so she made us an appointment at the Apple Store and they updated her iPad there.
I don't have time to go to there Apple Store any time soon and I was wondering if anyone knew any ideas why this is happening.
It never use to happen when I use to update my iPods.
Any ideas?

Best product to do a Marketing Plan on?

For my Marketing class, we have to pick a product (and the company of that product) and do a Marketing Plan on it. I sort of want to do Apple and for a product, do the Macbook or iPad. But at the same time, I want other suggestions for something better or just as good. Any ideas?
