My wifi works in my HP desktop computer and my tv.
However, when i go on my ipod or ipad, it says its not connected to wifi, even though it shows full bars.
I tried resetting network setting and turning it on and off several times, still no luck.
It worked fine before and yesterday.It just suddenly stopped working in both of my handheld devices.

IPad not working on Wi-Fi?
I've got a WAP set up on 192.168.1.50 and a router on 192.168.1.1.
The WAP works fine with android and laptops, but doesn't on iPad and iPhone
I think the issue is with DHCP, it's disabled on the WAP and when I try and connect the iPad to it, it comes back with some random IP address. So I've tried connecting with a static IP Address.
When I use 192.168.1.50 as the Router in these options it appears to connect, with the WiFi icon appearing in the notification bar, it won't however load a web page. Pinging it from 192.168.1.1 gets no connection, pinging it from 192.168.1.50 gets a connection.
Using 192.168.1.1 as the Router gives a tick next to the WiFi but no icon in the notification bar.
It's really quite frustrating any help would be appreciated!
(I'm fairly sure the WAP is set-up correctly or the Laptops/Android phone wouldn't work)
Added (1). Router Model = DSL-3780
WAP Model = Netgear DGN1000
The Router and WAP have different SSID's and Passwords
The Router is handling DHCP
The Router is also wireless but out of range of the WAP
I've also changed the channel to a more Apple friendly one, with no difference

My 3 year old son was playing on my ipad and I'd accidentally left Facebook open, he was messing around and sent out a bunch of friend requests using friend finder.
One of those friend requests to to a woman a man I've been talking to was mutual friends with. Said man flipped out said a lot of hurtful things and was so angry the friend request had been sent. (The woman on the other hand excepted the request and I deleted as soon as I found out what had happened.
In total my son has sent out 18 friend requests so far. 17 people saw the funny side him not at all.
I believe it was a huge over reaction and maybe a guilty conscience? Thoughts?
I've tried to explain to him and showed him via snap shots what happened but he is been a jerk, and said he couldn't care less

Where should I write? On the laptop or on the iPad?
I write fanfictions, novels, and stories in general. I don't like to write on paper cause my house is kinda crowded and wherever I put my things, they get lost or thrown in the garbage or god-knows what happens to them. I don't know if I should write my stories on my laptop or iPad? What do you guys think. Which is better; writing on my laptop or on my iPad?

Watching streams on ipad?
i try to watch sport streams especially from firstrownow.eu from my ipad air but everytime i go to it i keep getting ads and pop ups and when i click ona game to watch it just stays black? Is there a special thing i need to do to watch on ipad or do these sites forbid watchers from ipad? Thanks

Should I get a laptop or iPad mini?
I'm going into college this year and have some graduation money. I was wondering if I should get a iPad mini and buy the Microsoft office stuff on that, or I should buy a certain laptop. I have no clue about laptops so any recommendations, or advice would be very helpful!Oh and the budget is anything equal to or under $1,100.
