Parenting style. Tiger parent or quick fix?

I'm doing a report on the tiger parent method for psychology for my masters degree. I know a lot of people think hitting kids is wrong but when i was a kid i got a swat, if i talked back i got upgraded to two more swats. Tiger parents are meaner. If you've read the book you understand if you haven't quick re-cap. Some parents will burn all the stuffed animals if their child doesn'tt olay the perfect piano. An A- is equal to an F. No lunches for a week if they do badly. It's cruel, i agree but compared to that is hitting your child worse? Opinions? The tiger parent method or spanking? Are iPads useful in 2016? Is it a waste of money?

Are iPads useful in 2016? I'm a college student & I currently have an iPhone 6s Plus & a macbook pro & my old iPad 3 I basically gave to my mother who uses it every day. But, for some reason i kind of want that new iPad mini but, I'm not sure if it's worth the money…& if so should i get it with my data plan or should I just get the wifi version?

Does it only work on handheld devices such as iPod, iPad and iPhones or does it work on OS computers such as iMacs or MacBook Pros? Thanks in advance.

Would I know if I had a blood clot in brain?!

Sunday my sister hit me super hard in the eyebrow area with an iPad mini, At the moment it hurted like hell. It still hurts but not as much and only when I touch it. I didn't pass out or experience any symptoms of a blood clot or anything. But is it possible I have one? Will I know if I have one?

Should I get iPad Pro? Should I wait for iPad Pro 2?

Main reason I want to get it is for the Apple Pencil. I am a hobby artist. Meaning I suck at drawing but I want to get better by practice. I have stopped on using pen and paper because erasing has been annoying for me due to lots of dirt and destroys the paper.

- I already sold my old iPad air.
- I have an iPhone 6s plus, which, in my opinion, is the best product of Apple to date, and is all I need to do everything (except of course the lack of Apple Pencil).
- I am a Windows person, so I have PC, never used a Mac, so I don't want Mac. My computer is a super computer too.
- I don't need another computer (ie. Surface Pro 4 which looks exactly like my desktop but with smaller screen).

All that is missing in my life is a drawing tool. Right now, I'm looking at iPad Pro. I've tried it in store and the drawing got me hooked. My problem is that there are a lot of complains in the internet. If all I want is the drawing, is it a good idea to get iPad Pro? Or am I wasting money?

Which drawing app? Paper vs Adobe vs Procreate?

Goal: I am trying to turn my ipad mini into a wacom tablet.

I need a program that…

supports transparency
easy to use
can smooth out my lines when I draw
offers precision
allows me to add text

I will be using this for making infographics (primarily)

Which app would be best? Paper by 53, adbobe sketch, adobe draw, procreate? Or another app?

Facebook and some other apps won't download on to my iPad?

Facebook was being dumb and crashing a lot on my iPad so I decided to delet it and redownload it but now it won't let me download it I would click the download button and then it will change back into that cloud picture like I Tryed many things and it's jsut not doing anything. And my iPad saying it has less storage when I pretty much almost deleted everything…
