Should I use an Ipad or laptop for studying abroad/traveling?

Hey guys,
So I'm studying abroad in Spain this summer for three months and then traveling throughout Europe for about a month and a half once my program is over. I'm trying to decide if it would be better for me to bring my laptop or to buy and Ipad for this adventure. A laptop would be better for the schooling portion but an Ipad would be a lot easier, and lighter, to travel with. Is it possible to do school work on and ipad, writing papers, doing reading, etc? Which would be better for the overall trip (studying abroad and traveling) and Ipad or laptop?

How to drag thingson an ipad?

Hi there, I have often come across this problem before, how do you achieve this? I have done a screen cap to show the problem but no matter how hard I try it won't go into the box onto the picture.

Any suggestions/help please?

Added (1). I am not talking about On the menu screen which it does yes when pressed on and the apps jingle, I refer too on the internet programmes itself… See my screen cap above.

Many things around my house have been stolen?

Okay I got back from my spring break about 3 or 4 weeks ago. I left my Ipad 4 in my small TV cabinet and when I came back from break it was gone. I do not recall having Icloud on there either, so is there a chance of me retrieving it? Also, i do not know how but someone got ahold of my grandfathers discover card too. Why are so many things disappearing?

Epiphone Les Paul Tribute Plus guitar - paid $700 for it brand new a few months ago, it's in perfect condition and comes with a hardshell case, a guitar stand, and a tuner. I'm asking $400.

16gb iPad Air - paid $500 for it brand new a few months ago, it's in perfect condition as well. I'm asking $350. Are these good prices? How do I sell my things?

How many carry-ons can you take on a plane?

I'm using a small suitcase like really small, an my mom thought that was my carry on so when she was doing the approval or whatever she said carry ons, an I don't have any room from my reading book, binder for homework, iPad, chargers, an snakes that I'm bringing…

I, just wondering can I being another carryon for this stuff instead of lugging it around in my arms from airport to airport…
