Should I use my MacBook or iPad for movies on vacation?

I'm not sure whether to take my iPad (16gb) or my MacBook (128gb) for movies on the 8hour plane journey, my iPad would be good because it has a smaller screen however it can not hold as many movies, but my MacBook would also be good as it can hold a lot of movies. I'm not sure which one as my iPad would be far more portable and easier but could only hold 6 movies ish? But my MacBook is quite big (13inch screen) so I'm not sure whether or not it's safe to take it with me? I can't take both because it would be too much responsibility:/

Overwhelmed nanny in need of advice?

I am a nanny for two children. The parents spend very little time with their kids-they are in preschool or with nannies every day of the week. Lately their 1 and 4 year olds have both been having huge meltdowns and tantrums every time they don't get their way. The 1 year old will scream for 20 minutes at the top of his lungs over not getting his way such as I didn't let him climb up the stairs when he wanted to. I'm starting to feel really overwhelmed. I try not to show attention when they do that or try to redirect but it's not working. They are incredibly strong willed children. I love them to pieces but I'm starting to really dislike my job. I work long hours almost every day of the week.

Any advice on how to cope with this phase? Or do you think I'm just not cut out for this type of work? If I tell the mom I'm feeling overwhelmed, I might lose my job. I never realized how stressful it could be to listen to children cry so much. I've been a nanny for years but never experienced this difficult of a situation.
Added (1). The parents also make my job harder. If I'm giving a time out to a child, they will intervene during the trantrum to give the child an Ipad and a snack… I feel like the 4 year old needs discipline but I'm the only one giving it to her.

Ipad Task/To Do List with labels and recurrence?

I am looking for a Task List/To Do type app for my Ipad Mini to manage my music practice. There are so many out there I need some recommendations for a suitable app with the criteria below. I would prefer free, but am open to paying a small one-off charge for the right app.

Colours/Labels (Warm-up, Scales & Arpeggios, Sight-Reading etc.)
Task Detail to include exercise/practice and time.
Recurring Tasks with End Date (Most tasks will recur for 7 days until my next lesson).
Ability to re-order the tasks in the list on any given day.
Ability to create task via web would be a bonus but not essential.

Any thoughts/recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks
Martyn

Why do I hear noises coming from most electronics?

I can hear noises from most electronics. You name it. It's almost like I just feel it because it so high pitched. It gives me headaches sometimes if the noise is lower pitched than the higher ones.
Light bulbs.
My laptop.
My cell phone.
My cell phone charger.
Televisions.
Monitors.
iPod/iPad charger.
iPad.

The noise is very high pitched. No one in my family can hear these noises. I am almost 17 years old and my younger sisters (who are teenagers) do not hear these noises so I don't think it is an age issue (although my parents don't hear them).
I can especially hear a television when it is not on a channel at all (like a blue screen before you turn on dvd player, xbox, etc) One time I tracked down a tv that was on in my elementary school because I could hear a high pitched noise coming from the blank screen (that was turned on).
I also can hear my iPad when I wake it from sleep mode. When the screen turns on I hear that high pitched noise.
When I turn on certain light bulbs in my house, I hear that noise.
When I plug in my phone or iPod/Pad to charge, I hear that noise.

Could someone explain what is I hear and why I seem to be the only one that hears these noises?

PS As I type this I can hear a high pitched noise coming from my MacBook.

People, don't blame the Apple products. I hear it everywhere.
