Will apps downloaded from someone else's Apple ID transfer with iOS 8.0.2 or whatever upgrade?

This school year, I got an iPad in one of my classes at the university I go to. My professor has a grant that she used to buy the iPads last year so that her Computer Animation Techniques classes could use them in class.

The Education Technology Office, at my university, is in charge of the iPads. They are also in charge of the apps that get downloaded onto the iPads.

My professor got some apps with her grant money. The ETO office purchased the apps and a lady came into my class to download them with the ETO iTunes user name/password.

Originally, my class was told not to download iOS 8 on our iPads but now we were told that it's up to each of us, individually, whether or not we download/install iOS 8 on our iPads.

My question is… If I download/install iOS 8.0.2 or whatever the latest iOS 8 version is, with wifi, on my iPad, will the apps that the ETO offfice downloaded stay on the iPad after iOS 8 is installed?
Added (1). I have iOS 8 on my iPod Touch 5th gen. I did not have any issues with apps but that is because I downloaded all the apps off my Apple ID.

Should i delete all the apps i installed on my ipad before resetting to new?

i want to make my ipad like new again so should i delete all the apps first or just go on over and reset the ipad? And does it make any difference if i do delete/uninstall the apps myself? Thank you.

Is the iphone6 and the ipad mini similar?

I am due for a phone upgrade and cant decide between smartphones. But i am also thinking about getting an ipad mini. Someone brought up the factor of "why get an iphone6 when your getting an ipad mini, they do the same thing and the LG G3 would be better." Is that true? Do the Iphone and Ipad do pretty much the same thing besides make phone calls?

I do believe iPad Mini 3 is definitely my second-to-none choice to play DVD videos on the go as it will pack a punch on performance and display so that I can watch DVD on iPad Mini 3 with ultra sharp image anytime. Yet, any iPad or tablet doesn't have a DVD drive, and neither does iPad Mini 3. So I need there is a terrific solution to tackle this issue-ripping DVD to iPad Mini 3 with original high quality.

Why do big games on my iPad mini crash?

I have a 16gb iPad mini and big games such as Injustice, Gta and Cod strike team crash. Why is this? By crash, I mean exits to home screen when I open the app.
