How do I fix my sensitive sleep issue?

Its nearly impossible for me to sleep with white noise machines. At first, I used my table fan as white noise, but then I started using a white noise on my iPad cuz it blocked most of the noises outside. Now I'm using a white noise machine as well. Basically 3 white noises to help me fall asleep. I tried to go without my iPad/the machine but I keep waking up, its not the REM sleep I get with sound machines.
How do I sleep normally with outside noises?

Help! Should I buy a Macbook Air?

So I have an Ipad Air 2 already, and i've had it for 2 years now I think. I just saw however that the macbook air is on sale with beats headphones (reg $ 300) for free on apples website for back to school. It's also 150$ off. Since I already have the Ipad is it even worth it? What are some of the benefits/ disadvantages of Mac? I'm a musician so I can use Garage band (ipad can do the same but not as technical) and I'm in highschool, but I want to know if it's even worth it if I buy it. Thanks!
