I woke up screaming and terrified from little noise?

Last night I was in my bedroom alone and I had locked the door(which I usually don't) I was using my iPad late listening to songs and stuff and slept with only my night lamp turned on, not without knowing when.
Next thing I know is that I wake up at 5:55 am screaming to a extremely loud noise which I immediately thought was a bomb going off somewhere near and immediately turn my head towards the wall were I have some decor on and see my medium sized canvas on which I have written a quote falling. But the things is that a falling canvas (WHICH WAS STILL IN THE AIR WHEN I LOOKED) can't produce such loud noise. Did that noise thing really happen or was it me?

Where can I buy older version ipads in new condition?

I DON'T want second-hand. I'm looking for an ipad which isn't the newest version, but also not really old. But the only ones I can find in stores is the latest (and most expensive). I want something a little older.
Added (1). old devices are not necessarily obsolete. I've had my "old" phone for around 4 years, and it still works great. It suits my needs. Thus I'm looking for an older version ipad because it SUITS MY NEEDS. My friend's ipad is an older version, and I've used it before, it is perfectly fine. You can do everything on it that you could a new ipad.

Reveal passwords in app?

Is there any way to reveal the password from inside an app on my iPad?
It's hidden in asterisks, but I can't use the inspect element tool on it because it does not change the asterisks when I type them into a random password field.
The password has been lost for a very long time but the only way to finding out is by decoding the asterisks.

I also can't inspect element from an app, so that trick is not usable--and I can't connect it to my Mac because the password I'm trying to figure out is, again, within an app. Please help:(

Everytime my little cousin comes to my house, she steals my stuff?

My aunt and uncle lives in another state and they are moving to my state because of their new job. They have two children: an 11 year old girl and a 17 year old boy. Their whole family slept over at my house for two days and the other day I was home alone with my 11 year old cousin. She slept in my room and I have a bunch of makeup and perfume in my room. That day, I went downstairs to eat breakfast and she was playing with her iPad in my room. Everytime when I leave my room, she would always lock the doors. That day when I went downstairs to eat breakfast she was in my room. She went through my makeup and sprayed my perfumes to see which one smelled good. As soon as I went upstairs to my room, she unlocked the door and went downstairs. When I entered my room, I could smell my perfume like someone was spraying it. Then I looked at my makeup drawer and found one of my foundation was missing. I went through my little cousins backpack, and saw a box. Inside the box, I found my foundation, my concealer, and two makeup brushes. I took them back and hide al my makeup. I told my mom about this and my mom told me to confront her. I'm not a person to confront someone because I feel like it's mean and that person will hate me. Not just that, my my 11 year old cousin is extremely rude. She cusses so much. Even to her own mom! Her mom yelled at her the other night, and she called her mom a ******* ***** behind her back. What should I do?

I recently purchased few apps on my iPad and for that I gave my back details, before that the options it was on was "NONE". After purchasing all the apps I want I changed it back to none as it started asking my to verify the purchase for downloading free apps… Now it won't let me download new apps with my bank details again. I bought my iPad for a cheap price. The seller said that it supports cellular but it won't read the SIM that I inserted. I take the deal cuz I thought its just the "firmware". So after doing enough google-ing about iPad mini GSM turning into a WiFi only. I know how does it turn a cellular to a wifi only by removing the RC1205 resistor near the CPU. Before I make this change to my motherboard. My mind made a question "Why did the seller removed the resistor?". So I google-ed again what are the effects of removing the resistor. Most results said that it's used to bypass icloud or sim activation. I lost his CP number and now I don't have access to him. I want to know if the iPad I bought is iCloud locked or Carrier locked. As of now I only have Serial number. No imei and sh*ts. Even on the back of the ipad.

Annoying, rude, selfish chinese grandma in law

So I have been with my boyfriend for 2 and a half years. We moved out to our own apartment and his grandparents would come and stay with us when they have doctor visits here. They are from vegas and for some god forsaken reason have to come down couple hundred miles to see a dcotor. Regardless, this isn't the problem, I open them with welcome arms everytime they come. They don't pay for anything and almost on a daily basis they send me out to run errands. I never say no to them and help them with anything. I grew up and was taught to respect my elders and even though i really don't want to run errands everyday, i do it because they are my boyfriends grandparents. Recently, his grandma came down for almost 2 months and because she has nothing to do around the house, i let her cook even tho I can honestly cook myself. So i gave up my kitchen n let her have it. Since then i don't step foot in the kitchen because she is in there all day long. Either cooking or sitting there watching her ipad. What i'm annoyed about is that she doesn't realize and isn't grateful for the things i do for her. She even went as far as complaining and degrading about me microwaving some dinner. What should i do! Suck it up and give up my happiness for them? Or stand up to them and start standing my ground and putting them in their place? I feel like i'm in no place of saying anything to them because she is not my immediate family.

How do I create good sleeping habits?

For the past year or so I have been sleeping very little. And I'm 17, so I'm probably getting way less than I need. I just graduated and I emailed my favorite professor thanking him for all the hard work h put into preparing me for those major tests. Of course I had three drafts of the letter/email I was going to send him in my notes on my iPad! Well once I finish the final copy I clicked "select all" and copied it to the email and pressed send! Once I sent it I realized that I accidentally copied all three of the drafts including the final copy and sent them all to him! It's white, has no cracks on the screen but it does have some very small and minor scrapes on the backside edges of the iPad (mostly on corners). Other then that it works perfectly still!

It's only 16GB.

My mac detects my wifi, but gives me a pop-up screen saying I have no DSL connectivity with Bell (but I'm a Videotron consumer)?

Since yesterday morning, my mac (and my iPhone and iPad) detects the wifi (full strength) and lets me connect to it, but send me to a pop-up screen that says "We have detected that you do not have DSL connectivity to your Home Networking Modem". If it close the pop-up screen on my phone it just disconnects me from wifi, and if i close it on my computer, the same message appears if I try to use safari.
It is a message from Bell Canada. I'm not a Bell client, the whole wifi is connected with Vidéotron.
I have fully wiped and ressetted my computer and phone.
We have contacted Vidéotron and resetted and unplugged and replugged everything (they say everything is working on there end and won't help me anymore). Bell won't help me because while its their message, I'm not a client.
What's more, my landlord (the internet is entirely in his name) had just briefly the same message yesterday on his devices, but after the whole reset with Vidéotron it went away (and now he is reluctant to help me because he doesn't seem to understand that I don't have a virus because how could a virus affect three devices at once, nor does he grans that if it were a virus his computer had it yesterday and would still not be working…)
Everyone in the building (everyone is on the same modem/network/password) has working internet except for me, the only difference between me and them is that I'm the only one with apple devices (they all had pc s)

I'm taking summer classes to graduate early and my folks extended my dorm lease into summer. There's another boy living in the dorm suite diagonal from mine, as he interns locally. His girlfriend came over, and the couple baked Green Tea Scones using a special green tea mix she bought for him. The couple stepped out of his suite to get money from the ATM in an adjacent building. They left his door propped open despite her warnings. After the couple were gone and turned the corner, I passed into his suite to taste a green tea scone out of curiosity. His girlfriend returned first, and she saw me exit with green crumbs around my face. She then yelled "OH NO! {his name}, GET OVER HERE!" He then caught up, also saw my green face from the green tea scone, and punched me twice as I escaped to my own dorm suite. My eye is swollen, but the (female) dorm manager sided with them after they explained I snuck a green tea scone. I explained I don't know how to use an oven or my dorm suite's kitchens, so I couldn't have oven-baked my own treats. She (dorm manager) still made me reimburse them for new green tea mix or she'd report me to a higher level just for BEING in a suite that's not my own.
Thing is, he was lucky I only cared about the green tea scone, as others may care about his wallet, iPad, even his keys were there. Even if I touched NOTHING but ONLY… Sat on his couch, my PRESENCE alone is what the couple and dorm manager fussed over.

Is there any way I can still see the last location of my iPhone if it's been lost for way more than 24 hours?

My iPhone has been lost for about a month now and I have tried to find it using find my iPhone but it won't work and it's definatly ran out of power by now but I'm almost positive it hasn't been moved around since I lost it and I'm pretty sure it's still in my house but it's small and the house is a mess and I've looked almost everywhere and if it's in the very very very messy basement the only way to find it would probably be the find my iPhone app ( I'm using my iPad now ) but the problem is it's been a long time so I can't see last location and my iPhone runs out of battery very fast.

I've just dropped my iPad on my lip!

I know I was stupid, laying down and holding my iPad directly above my face but I don't need a lecture right now. It was bleeding but now had stopped however there's a small bump on the inside of my lip that really hurts. The only thing I have done was to dab it with a cotton pad to stop the bleeding.

Whenever I watch my boyfriends kids (he is divorced) they always ask me to buy them things (toys. Books, clothes, shoes, etc). They do not need anything as they are spoiled and have tons of toys, clothes. IPads etc. I do not buy them things other than food, lunch, snacks, drinks, activities (going to a movie, roller skating,etc) but thats where I draw the line (other than on their birthdays or if they do good in school etc) When I tell them no they get mad. How do I get them to stop asking me for things so I do not look like the bad guy?

My mom is really getting on my nerves?

I just came home from this camp that really wears me out and was using my iPad and accidentally fell asleep and my brother barges into my room and says dinners ready, then about 5 mins later my mom came in screaming that I'm not following directions and I shouldn't be taking a nap at 7:00 so go downstairs and eat and now apparently I'm grounded from my ipad because I got really mad at her and didn't give it to her. Help my iPod touch (5th generation) isn't charging

Ok so my iPod was working just fine no issues,until I tried to plug into my charger when it died.It wasn't charging so I automatically thought that the issue was with my charger so I used my moms charger for her iPad (which I know works because her iPad had just been charging on it) my iPod still wasn't charging. The dead battery symbol flashed on and off on my screen. I decided to try plugging the charger into my laptop instead of the wall to see if that worked,still my iPod wasn't charging. All of a sudden my iPod went completely dead,meaning I couldn't turn it on, get the dead battery symbol on it or
anything… After a couple days of leaving it on the charger it finally came back on and said it was charging but as soon as I unlocked the screen it went back to not charging. Now no matter what I do I can't get my iPod to charge. I have tried several
different chargers,outlets, and my laptop.NOTHING WILL CHARGE IT.So now my question is… Is there any way to get it to charge? Do I have a battery issue? If I do have a battery issue around how much will it cost to fix it? If there's a way to factory reset my iPod and have the issue be fixed, then I'm willing to do that but i'm not sure how to factory reset my iPod without it connecting to iTunes through my laptop.

I'm 13 and I want more freedom. Is my mum too strict?

I want to meet my friends and I'm always at my dads so I can't and then when I'm not she says no because she doesn't like one of them. She won't let me go with my mate to a shopping centre about 30 minute drive with her grandad just because my mum thinks she hangs round with 17 year old lads. She doesn't believe me and never trusts me to do anything. I'm not a loud Snapchat Instagram Facebook or twitter and only recently got a phone. When I'm slightly late from school she asks me loads of questions. When I want to go to a mates house she has to ring there parents up about 5 times to get all the details and check I'm not lying. I can understand if I'm a bad kid but I'm not. I'm in year 8 and right now I'm at a C in maths and English. My bedtime s 9 o clock it's not even fair. She doesn't listen to a word I say and my twin brother gets away with everything. Just the other day he beat me up and I couldn t move for a whole minute and he got his phone taken off me whereas I have an argument about treating me like a baby and I get my phone and iPad taken off me. I'm aloud to go to the nearby park but that s about it. I want to explore I want to live life to the full but I just can't trapped up inside my house and not being on social media.

Help my iPod touch (5th gen) is not coming on?

Ok so earlier I was using my iPod touch and it was working just fine.It died so I plugged it into the charger but it wasn't receiving a charge. I thought it was my cable cord so I tried a different one that I know works because my mom had just used it for her iPad.Still it didn't receive a charge. After a couple minutes of trying to get a charge the screen went completely black and now my ipod is unresponsive and won't do ANYTHING.it won't turn on,i've tried eveyr button combination of hard resetting it NOTHING WORKS. I can't even factory reset it because my laptop doesn't recognize my device. Please Help. I called apple but they wanted me to make a genius bar reservation and i don't know what that even is so please someone help and explain not trying to be frantic or rude i'm just scared and my laptop is gonna die before i can finish writing this thanks

A stand in the mall where they sell cases gave the wrong case and has no return policy

To sum this up briefly I got an IPad Pro on launch day and my mom was trying to get a case for it. She goes to the mall and buys a case for it. I didn't mind the case and was thankful for it… Until I noticed a problem which was the volume area wasn't quite lined up with the case. So I immediately investigated and come to find out the case was definitely not meant for the iPad Pro. The tiny plastic piece that goes through the middle of the volume button didn't align and was sitting comfortably on top of the higher volume button, there was an extra hole where the lock screen switch was supposed to be at. But the iPad Pro doesn't have that switch, the area where the sounds were supposed to come out was blocked on the right side, and lastly the camera was being half blocked by the leathery case which was misaligned. After explaining and showing her all the faults I found she eventually returned it. Unfortunately to no avail because they have a no return policy in which frustrated me. It's clearly unprofessional what they did and I don't know what to do, and I don't want any other cases from them because of their policy, plus my mom got a different case from Best Buy so I'm happy. What can i do with this situation?

Adblock for Safari on Ipad isn't blocking Youtube ads

This just started today, but I had the Adblock app on my Ipad for Safari and it has been working without a flaw. All of a sudden today whenever I go to youtube.com to watch a video it pops up with a commercial first, and in the progress bar shows that it has like eight more commercials lined up for me to watch.

I think it might be an issue with Safari because I downloaded TWO more adblockers and have set them up in the content blocker section of Safari in settings. But, still, no amount of configuration or playing with the whitelist stops these intrusive commercials.

I punched my sister, now she hates me?

My twin sister has been getting on my nerves lately. The other day, I was happily on my iPad, then I heard her giggling and she came and snatched it off me. She said she needed it for "homework" then I chased her up the stairs for it, then the idiot said "have your stupid iPad" and CHUCKED IT across the flipping room at me! She got a small crack in the screen, so I punched her hard in the arm. She "cryed" to our mom and now it's apparently all my fault! She won't talk to me now. Was it my fault?

Is it okay for a 15 year old to be online unsupervised?

When my daughter with Asperger's was around 10 years, her dad gave her a laptop. I was against it mostly because I was scared she would spend too much time on it. It didn't occur to me that online predators are very very common until two days later. I took away the laptop because I caught her sneaking and playing it in her room during midnight. She was socially immature didn't have any friends back then so she just played games. Now, at 15, she is asking if she is allowed to have an iPad, laptop, or phone inside her room. She also asked if her Internet access can be unsupervised because "but mom, ALL my friends are allowed!". She's outgrown her obsession over Monster High. Now, it's all about Instagram, Snapchat, and Facebook. I wish I could give my daughter that freedom, but there's so many predators and inappropriate content out there. Yet she's been begging me because most kids have unsupervised access as young as toddler-aged up to teenage years.

My iPad is not charging

I have an old iPad i don't know if it's a 4 or not but it's the one that uses the iPhone charger and today it just wasn't charging? I was at my uncles house so I though it was his outlet but when I arrived at my moms house it was still not charging so I tried a different and older iPhone charger… It worked for 5 minutes and then didn't? It's weird because it's working for my phone but not the iPad so I know the cord is not damaged.

Am I silly for overreacting to my tutor's monitoring method?

The other day, I was in class and had started Semester 2 for the year. My tutor, I had him for classes in Semester 1.

He is quite a friendly, cheery person, and always greets me when I had entered the classroom.

About 3 minutes before the class was scheduled to start (At 2.30pm), I switched on my iPad, plugged in my earphones, then decided to switch into Youtube to view some videos of people arguing on public transport - just your standard "guy takes cell phone footage of public argument" video.

After 10 seconds, I felt the tutor, who had been walking around the classroom, was approaching me stealthily. I looked up, and saw his eyebrows were raised but his eyes were fixated on me - it was not nasty or aggressive but he looked like he was going to enter my soul. I felt a strange pull in my stomach.

I asked him "has class started?" He then laughed and said: "No, not yet!"

I said: "Oh… You looked a bit suspicious, haha"

And he said: "Oh, we all have our methods" and laughed. Then he walked off.

Maybe I'm taking this too seriously. I never ever want to offend or disrespect anyone, even by accident if I can avoid it. And again, he wasn't nasty or intimidating - just acted like he was going to approach me wearily.

I broke my Apple Watch's screen and dad says I can't just go to an Apple store and repair it. What do I do?

SOMEBODY accidentally dropped my watch while it was charging and the entire screen in broken, even the insides are kind of showing. I thought we'd just go to an Apple store and repair it, like we did when my sister's iPad screen broke, but dad says I have to make an appointment first and go to another country (since there are no official Apple stores where I live). Is this a real virus?

Weird things have been happening. I got a pop up on my iphone 7 that reads "WARNING! (6) Viruses detected on your iPhone!" At the top of the pop up is says "Apple Support" it's hard to explain what it all looked like I tried to upload the screenshot but it's not working. This is the second time in the past week this pop up has came when I opened the app "Phhhoto". The IP address is listed and I noticed it's either the same or very similar to one that logged into my Facebook using an iPad which I do not own.

What should I do?

What do I say to a toddIer that talks back?

I'm 17, my cousin is 4 and a half. For example Today I said to him "Look ______ doggies!" From the dinner table and he on the couch. He was going "where!" Looking Outside. I told him on the tv. He only sat back down and continued watching people play Mario on his IPad and shouted "I already know that. Don't tell me because I'm not interested." I the child That that's just sad
But then after a while what the little boy said dawned on me as quite rude. And I don't think I want to allow him to continue to walk all over me as he grows up. I'm sick of being the 'big sister/cousin thing' that doesn't have a say in anything! Should I have Just told him that was rude and not to say it again?!

A year ago my boyfriend passed away and his dad gifted me his ipad pro and it is logged into his email for iTunes but i've been able to use it and also sign into my iTunes to download apps but recently I updated it and when I turned it on after it just stays on the apple logo screen.
