I recently tried my hand at replacing the digitizer on my Ipad mini. I got to the part where I took out the digitizer, the LCD, the metal shield under the LCD, and the smaller shield on the part where the digitizer connects. Then I realized I bought the wrong replacement part, but I'm wondering if there's any parts that completely break the Ipad if I took it out wrong and render it unrepairable?
