Overanalyzing the world from a physics point of view?

Ever since i was young i've always been curious, but over time since i went to the university to enroll on a computer science degree (i have a MSc now), i started attempting to understand, decode, categorize and explain EVERYTHING in everyday life.

Things were fine in the beginning, when i knew almost nothing about physics, i saw the world from a purely human point of view, just like computer science sees everything as information represented as bits and bytes, nothing else.

Things went rogue when i got deep into physics.

When i learned about concepts like heat dissipation in every process, i became obcessed that things we do in everyday life have consequences we ignore. Lets pick the previously mentioned subject of finding the shortest distance path from home to the mall. In the past it was pretty obvious to me that if i have a path 2km long and another one that is 5km long,
the 2km path is obviously the way to go, its just a matter of math, 2<5, therefore it's the best choice. But then, when i learned more about physics, i started wondering and obcessing about stuff like "although path 1 is shorter, i may dissipate less energy as heat throughout the travel… Could this be a bad thing?

Could it be that my car dissipating energy along the travel is good for something? Could the photons emited by my car serve some purpose, for instance, to melt a meteor that will travel to earth?" this is likely an exageration, i know,

IPad stuck in headphone mode?

So I clicked on the video and I couldn't hear anything. I tried to turn the volume up by the button on the side but it was on full volume and it said 'headphones' however there are no headphones in there. Does anyone know how to get it on to normal speaker mode? Thanks.

How much memory does a textbook on ipad consume?

At school, we have been given ipads, and the downloading of the ebooks might be next week or two. I just want to know how much gb or mb a single textbook (with pictures. Videos (that need internet), and etc.) will consume. Please tell me cos i want to download a game with a huge file. Also, i have a 16gb ipad

What is the best iPad 4 case with a stand?

I'm looking for a case (not a cover!) with a stand for my ipad 4. For the life of me I cannot find one for a reasonable price that's not terrible. The purpose of the case is for the stand.

DOSbox (For Daggerfall) Help?!

Recently I've decided to download Daggerfall and play the hella outta' it but I was told it required DOSbox… I downloaded DOSbox and brought up some sort of prompt / command screen (it looked system-like, the sort of screen for coding I believe?), and entered what my friend told me to. I entered this command. Mount c c:\dos -freesize 1000. And it said Directory c:\dos doesn't exist…

Heres what I did all in order- Downloaded the Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall installation files, was told by friend that I need DOSbox, installed DOSbox version 0.74 for Windows (7), looked into further detail of how to edit DOSbox for compatibility for Daggerfall, I went to the Notepad thingy like it wanted me to (to edit the configuration files / edit my options, whatever) and put in MEMSIZE=32 where it said MEMSIZE like my guiding website asked from me, opened the command screen, entered the next thing it asked for, which was- as I said- MOUNT C C:\DOS -FREESIZE 1000… Then it said the directory didn't exist.

Please tell me what I did wrong, I sincerely want to play Daggerfall so hard. Lol.

P.S., Im no computer expert or anything, try simplifying your answer as if I were a complete novice (Which I kind of am), or a grandma getting an iPad.

How come people have the nerve to pretend to be poor to try to get money from me?

Do people have no shame at all in this world anymore? I work hard for my money. Anyway, people I know love to pretend to be poor and hint for money or even ask directly all the time, yet they seem to have all the latest toys (vehicles, ipads etc) and are always on vacation when I look at their facebook. I give nobody anything, but where do these people get off acting this way? Is integrity no longer something people have?

Can I use iPod touch or iPad on the airplane?

Umm I have a two day flight to Vegas tommorow so I need some help immediately. I've read in a lot of reviews that it's okay to use an idevice during flight if you put it on airplane mode and turn off bluetooth, wifi and other signal associated stuff, but is it seriously okay? Thank you loves. XOXO

Should I get a canon s110 or a gopro silver edition?
I am a youtuber and I need to get a new camera currently I use my Ipad and Iphone. So here's my situation I am going to a lake in new york in a week and I need a new camera by then because im gonna vlog the whole trip. We will be swimming and tubing and boating thats why I would like the gopro but, would you be able to record indoors with good film quality? I want the canon s110 because lots of youtubers use them and I think their videos look great but I wouldn't be able to bring it tubing or boating with me. Also, what comes with both cameras? Do they come with USB cords to hook up to my computer? Please help!
