My Gran's Ipad screen has gone wonky. Help?!

The back of the screen has gone all weird, like yellow, red and greens (kind of like a photo affect).

Ipad Mini Electric Shock? Scared?

So i bought an ipad min2 64gb retina and it arrived yesterday, i set it up and for a while felt like i would get little shocks when i touched certain parts of the screen.

Then today about half an hour ago i was on my bed on my laptop and next to the laptop was the ipad which i also had on watching something and whcn i touched the side of the ipad i felt a big shick i thought.

In my dream I am sitting in the bleachers during gym class reading my iPad.
I'm just sitting n minding my own business and he comes over out of the blue and sits rt next to me so close our legs are touching. I look over at him n he looks in the other direction acting like he doesn't know he's to close. So I scoot over about a half foot or so to give him space and go back to what I was doing.
After a few mins he scoots closer to me to where our thighs are next to each other touching again. So I give up and just look away lol

Zeus virus pop-up from Cox?

Just recently, I had gotten those support pop-ups from Cox notifying me of an internet-connected device in my home may have been infected with the "Zeus virus."

I have my iPad, my Chromebook (HP) & my Galaxy S4 hooked up to our wi-fi. Our wi-fi (the router/modem, or whatever you call it) is directly hooked up to our HP desktop running Windows. I know that is the root of the virus, seeing as I did my research & the said virus can only be found on Windows & all of my other devices run on Android/Apple software so that excludes them from the problem in the first place. (But they get the pop-ups too because they're hooked onto the WiFi).

Cox IS my ISP, along with phone + telephone (bundle) & I was just wondering if this was legit. I've searched around the Cox support website for help on this virus & it was just a little bit odd how they didn't have ANYTHING at all for this virus, but they did for other viruses.

I've googled around & I found one, two posts regarding this problem but I'm not sure. I'm currently scanning & AVG and Norton hasn't found anything threat at all.

What do I do?

I am currently looking for a new tablet. I previously owned the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, and its started lagging, and the apps are quite slow now. So I am going to try an apple product for the first time.
I want a large tablet, so I have focused on the ipad air, and the ipad air 2.
I am not entirely sure about which one to purchase. There is about £100 difference between them both, so do you think I should buy the ipad air with 32gb, or should I buy the ipad air 2 with 16gb? Both of these of in my budget but I am not sure if I would benefit from more storage, rather than buying one with lower storage but more features.
So which would you recommend for a first time apple user?

Push notification problem: Can't get like PUSH notifications on Facebook App?

On a web browser, I can get all notifications. No problem right there. However, on the official Facebook apps on my galaxy s3, ipad and my sister's iphone, I am getting all but the "like" push notifications. I have tried creating a new fb account but I get the same problem. When I open the app though, I get to see all the "like" notifications, among others.
PS: this might seem so vain of me but it's just so annoying! :)

What do I need to live out on my own? Tips?

I already asked this question, but I need to go into more detail to get a more accurate answer. I'm 18, going to a 2 year community college in the fall of 2015 where my classes start at 8am. They don't provide dorms and my parents live 30-45 minutes away (very stressful to live here, the reason I want to move out). The apartment I'm looking at is 1 mile away from the college and in the middle of the city (so not using much gas to get place to place), has a laundry facility, a fridge, a stove, is $470-$530 a month, I'm getting one unfurnished because I have most of the furniture already. I now have a job making $8 an hour, 35-45 hours every 2 weeks saving about half my paycheck every time. Probably switching jobs a month or 2 before moving. I'm thinking of moving in July and to have my bf (age 20, dating for 5 years) to move in with me. My boyfriend and I have no car payment, cheap car insurance (I'm going into the Automotive field, my bf is good with vehicles so we can fix most problems), my parents are helping pay for college, I have dual-credits so I already have the basic classes I need so less money spent there, scholarships, I already have a computer and an iPad, I will have over $4000 saved up by summer. I'm taking a business math class but need more help. I need tips on how to live on my own, how to pay for things, what I need to be out on my own, anything. I'm open to suggestions! Thanks!

Could You use the Ipad to draw?

DOes the Ipad have any sort of application that allows you to draw professionally? Whether it is with a stylus, pen tab, or with you finger ( tho that may not be as efficient for drawing…) If so, what is it called? ( And also if you know any special features about it like you are able to draw on different layers, or adjust the contrast and RGB levels. Or use specific tools like the smudge or dodge. Surviving bratty cousins for the holidays?

Alright, my brother and I (twins) are the only kids in the family. We are 18 and every major holiday we get invaded by our mom's side of the family. Our cousins (there are 6) are nowhere close in age to us, the oldest is 8 and the youngest is 3 months. My brother and I are ALWAYS put in charge of them and they are extremely rude. They yell at us, throw things, hit us, and have gone through and broken our stuff. They also get whatever they want. We try to talk to our parents and their parents but our aunt and uncle accuse US of being the spoiled, misbehaved ones. So we always get in trouble. It's impossible to entertain them and my brother and I have a paper due the day we get back but instead we have to babysit our cousins. Our parents say we can do it the night before but it's a 8 page paper that just got assigned to us. What can we do to solve our cousin and homework problem? It's just not fair, we aren't free babysitters! By the way, 4 of the kids have their OWN ipads and one of them has an iphone. They are so spoiled it's ridiculous.

Razer Kraken Neon analog headset?

I need a good pair of headphones, and the razer krakens look awesome, sound pretty good (I think) and do not come with a large price tag like a warhead 7.1 or something lol. Anyways, I wanted to ask can the kraken be used for just listening to music, watching movies etc. Or does it only work (only sound good) with games? Would getting an ipad be inconvenient in any way if otherwise I use non-apple devices?

I just recently began feeling like a tablet would be something that I would use enough to justify the (for me) large price tag. I've begun researching which tablet would best fit my needs and I've pretty much narrowed it down to either the Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 or the ipad air 2.
The thing is, I do not like doing business with/supporting Apple and so I would ideally not decide on the ipad air 2 but so far from what I've read, it seems to be superior overall in ways that are important to me, feature-wise.
Here is my question: given that I'm an Android user when it comes to cell phones and a PC user when it come to computers and I don't anticipate either changing, and that the only other Apple product I have is an ipod nano, would getting an ios tablet end up being more of a hassle than it's worth? I want to make sure that I will still be able to easily and seamlessly share/save/organize/access/sync media and whatnot on my tablet, PC and phone without a lot of hassle.
Thanks in advance for input. I've just never had an apple computer before or tried to use, together, two electronics with two different operating systems.

I was bombarded with all of this advertising, all of these "wants", and was denied my right to CONSUME!

NO electronics, NO video games, my mom packed SHITTY lunches that made me want to barf, NO XBOX, NO fast computer, NO music player, NO car, NO iPhone, NO ipad!

So I "broke bad" and started making lots of money (thousands of dollars and then tens of thousands) illegally. Just a way to say "f*ck you" to the world that denied me my wants.

It's really my Asian mom's fault. Making me take a slave curriculum (Chinese lessons, SAT prep, extra tutoring) and denying me material privileges.

I now have a car, a fast computer, an XBOX, a PS3, 30 video games, and more CASH hidden in my closet than my mom has in the bank. Enough to straight-up buy a small house here in Tennessee. I rejected all her extracurricular CRAP. She is mad but she has NO RIGHT to be - I was "goody-goody" and POOR for the first 16 years of my life!

I just wanna design a simple program that billions of people will use and maybe a company or a social networking site will offer me a money to sell them the whole software to them. Just like that dude who refused to accept the 3 or 4 billion money Facebook offered him to buy Snapchat, I mean who would not accept 4 billion dollars?

My iPad is stuck on reset?!

I recently jail broke my iPad. I no longer like the jailbreak because it caused problems etc. So I went into general. Clicked reset and tried erasing my iPad. The apple logo appeared and then the loading bar appeared. I waited 6 hours and the loading bar never moved. The Ipad finally died when it originally had around 80%. Any idea how to fix this?

Ok so payday is coming up and i'm having a bit of trouble deciding what to buy, as said above, so the choices are, a PS4, it's been a year now since it came out so i think it would be great to get one now, but the price is still up there and it should come down, and have been wanting to play AC:Unity but despite the horrible frame rate issue, and many other problems I would still like to play it, and I do have a gaming PC so, when it comes out on there i'll play it on there.

What's wrong with my dog?

I have an old (10-12 years old) bichon frisée (sorry for spelling errors, typing on an ipad). When I fill up the whole bowl of food and water, she eats/ drinks all of it, and then she goes and pukes up all the undigested food and water. She hasn't done this before, but started these past weeks. Please help! I don't want her to do get hurt. Please give me tips to help her, and maybe tell me what's happening, please! Thank you:)

How to get a clean slate?

So I got this girl's number, I thought it'd be funny if I did it without speaking. So I just handed her my phone with her name in it and she typed it in and she said aren't you "$&@$" and laughed so I just nodded my head and walked away. What's the cheapest way to use iMovie?

Okay this is probably a dumb question but long story short I am not into Apple products at all BUT I have used iMovie back when I was in school and loved it more than any other video editing software (I've used Windows Movie Maker, Sony Vegas, etc.) iMovie was just so easy to use that I'm not in the market of buying an Apple product JUST so that I can use iMovie!

I've seen people use iMovie on the iPad but I don't know if that's the "full" version of it. Basically I want to know what's the cheapest product that I can buy to use iMovie. At most I'll buy an iMac mini but if I could do everything on the iPad then I'll just do that!

IPad screen won't rotate?

I have checked to see if my side switch is on, or if there are any locks on teh rotation in the control centre and settings, but there is nothing to say that is it.
However, my iPad screen still rotates though - just not while it's in use. If I have my iPad in portrait and turn it horizontally while it is awake, it will not rotate the screen. But if I have my iPad in portrait, put it to sleep, rotate it horizontally and then turn it back on, the screen will have rotated to be horizontal. Then I won't be able to rotate it back unless putting it to sleep again.
I know that because of this, the balance mechanisms still must be working, so I tried just restarting it but the problem is still there. Any suggestions? :/ Thanks

Youtube is not working on my ipad?

I am having trouble streaming videos on the youtube app on my ipad. I've had this problem for weeks. Basically, when i click a video, it either has a playback error or the video does load but I can only hear the video while the screen stays black and then it crashes soon after anyway and has a playback error.

It's not the wifi because I've tried other people's wifi. I have also tried to delete the app and reinstall it and videos still don't load properly.

The app works fine on my iphone 5 but just not on my ipad air.

Is this normal? Will my puppy's ears still stand up?

I can't upload my picture because my iPad's camera is too HD so it says the picture is too big to upload. Anyways my pup's ears when I got him were completely floppy at 8 weeks, then when he was 12 weeks and one day old one ear stood up and the other stayed floppy, then about a week later both stood up but they kept up and down randomly because it seemed like the cartilage wasn't fully developed so every now and then theyd go down and sometimes only one would go down but for most of the time atleast one ear was up at a time but now he's 16 weeks and for about the last week his ears have stayed like this and right before this happened his ears had gone from standing straight up to standing up but resting on his head instead of being up on their own so they looked like this . He's some sort of GSD mix and his mom was a purebred GSD with big erect ears and I think his are supposed to stand up because he is supposed to be a malamute mix but his ears have been down for a while now so is that normal?
Added (1). The pictures aren't my dog by the way, they just look like how his ears do.

Also I know some dogs take longer for their ears to stand up but is it normal that they were already standing but now have gone down? Also before his ears completely stood up they faced forward and folded towards the front but now the fold over to the side.
Added (2). Meow, it doesn't matter too much I just want to know if they will stand up or not, doesn't affect how I'll treat him also taping isn't cruel at all. And I know his ears are supposed to stand up since they did before for a week or two, I'm just not sure if they could've been damaged by the way he slept or something or if its normal and they could stand up again later
Added (3). Also I've read that ears laying across the head is normal, which his used to do, but now they're floppy and hang off his head instead of resting on the head.
Added (4). Also they were never strong when erect, when we would go on walks they would flop all over the place. They are also fairly big so I'm afraid that since they are so big the weight has become too much and thats why they fold over to the side, and when he's on his side and sleeping and his ears go up because of plain gravity, it seems like there is a crease on the side of his ear which my other dog who has permanently floppy ears also has.

How to babysit bad children?

So I have to baby sit from 6:30pm to 2am while the parents party… Anyway they have 4 kids 1 girl and 3 boys. The girl is 2yrs old and the boys are 6, 8 and 10. And they always fight. They also swear and hit there sister. The last time I watched them the poured water onto the kitchen table then when I made them clean it up the little girl cried and they ran. She gets mad when dont let her play with my phone but then the boys just push her over and take it. When I try to tell them they saw well she's annoying. Then the older one says (btw im short for 15 and he's pretty tall so we are almost the same height) but anyway he says that he won't listen because hes my height. They are not good. Skate 3 skater with my name?

Hey guys,
So, my brother was playing Skate 3 on his account, and he was just on offline. I repeat, OFFLINE. He wasn't on the PS3 for a bit because he was focused on his iPad, when I suddenly saw a skater with the name ZombieNation4Life (Al) above him. That was fine. Until then, I saw another skater with MY username over his head.

I was worried for a bit that my brother was online and someone had hacked my account or used my username. It was above the skater's head with the "(Al)" at the end. My brother and I haven't played Skate 3 in MONTHS, so we practically don't know anything about it anymore besides basic controls. Could someone please explain this to me?

My dad got me an old, used iPad one because my laptop broke and we couldn't afford one so he got me an iPad. It sucks because I cant download apps. Added (1). I paid a visit to my uncle and he was showing me his new iPad that he got for a gift. He has it about a year but rarely used it. When we powered it up we were prompted to update to the latest version of iOS. I clicked to update and the unit displayed a black screen with the apple logo and a progress bar. When the bar reached the end nothing seemed to happen. The screen went black and it hasnt started since.
I went into recovery mode and connected to itunes and for the last 3 hours iTunes

i know this guy and we use to text every single day non stop, sometimes we would text till a new day but now we barely text, he text me sometimes like once a week or go a week without texting me then text me again acting like nothing happened and i sometimes ask him why havent he been texting me and he ignores the question, its this app called kik where you can text ppl without having a number, anyway, so he didn't text me for a couple days then i noticed he changed his name and still didn't text back, it takes him 5-51 minutes to text me back, our convos has gotten shorter also

Why did my wifi stop working?

I dont really know anything about tech. So please just bear with me Yesterday my linksys wifi box just stopped working, at first I thought it was a problem with my phone but my roommate said it was effecting her laptop, phone, and iPad too. So I checked my laptop which uses an ethernet cord from the same box and it says "Access type: no Internet access." I tried unplugging everything and turning it back on, but it didn't work. Please help I have to do research for my final and my parents will kill me if I go over on data.

IPad mini apps stuck on waiting?!

Can employer track browser history from mobile hotspot?

I have a company issued AT&T lte iPad that has mobile hotspot capability. If I connect to their hotspot using my personal iPad can they track the browser history? And more importantly, would they go through the trouble? I'm assuming this would be available through the AT&T records but would be quite a hassle for them to track which sites were visited and who visited them. I have my own wifi at home and wouldn't go to any "inappropriate" websites from their hotspot, I'm just curious as to what they can track?

What does it mean that I never have any peaceful dreams?

Im 21, and I literally can't remember a time I've had a peaceful dream. It seems that in most of my dreams I'm in some sort of fight, struggle or at least in some way something goes horribly wrong. The thing is im not particularly scared in the dreams. Even during a dream in which I was being hunted I wasn't scared I was only hiding until I could escape/fight back.

Even last night in what I'd consider a good dream about this new girl I'm thinking about dating. I ended up having to run off to find the person who stole my iPad. Then when I found him I got in a car and was rushing back to the restaurant she was at when I parked at the wrong spot and got jumped by some people. But I fought them and then made it back to the girl.

I don't know why they are this way but I can't remember ever having the stereotypical "happy dream", it seems that what would be most people's "nightmares" are normal dreams to me.

Tips for a long flight?

I'm leaving for a trip to asia soon. Including layovers and stops the total time i will be traveling is just a half hour shy of 30 hrs. The longest flight im on is 15 and a half hours straight. My high school issued us iPads, now this is going to sound very foolish, but I got up to leave the table at lunch to get something and had my iPad on the table, thinking my friends would notice anyone trying to pick pocket. How to get rid of airwatch?

My school forced an iPad mini onto every student and then equipped them all with the big brother program called airwatch. It was fine at first, I simply went into my settings, profiles, and deleted aiwatch. But now the school required we all factory reset these things and reinstalled airwatch on me. Now I can't simply delete it through profiles. I also tried another reset but it requires I log into my school airwatch account upon reset. I refuse to use this dammed thing if they're going to watch my every move, any help?

I bought a stolen ipad air?

So I bought a iPad off craigslist and turns out that they stole it from a high school it lets me do everything a normal iPad can but it has apps from the school that can't be deleted even if you reset the iPad. I was returning from a short trip and had traveled by bus back home, as I settled on the bus a tall man had caught my attention, as he had really curly hair and ocean blue eyes he had not found a seat yet, he then decided to settle down next to me. And he greeted me good morning and I replied back and returned to reading an article on my iPad. We then never said much to one another for a few hours, as he began a conversation with a man behind me and I overheard their conversation, and he began explaining that he was from France and had relocated to pursue his dream of being a fisherman. And that he was single and not married. As he returned to his seat beside me I became even more attracted to him, but became a bit shy to strike up a conversation even though I spoke French. I then fell asleep and he began sleeping as well, and our legs began touching and we slept on the same side of the chair so we were basically facing each other. And I was just beginning to feel a bit awkward after we both woke up, he asked me my opinion on my iPad as he wanted to get one also be able to read his book and we just chatted about the pros of the iPad, I then went back to reading and he brought out his book also about “Being a fisherman”. And he just seem to mirror my actions. It for the rest of the evening, he began moving his legs towards mine and it was just a bit of an awkward atmosphere even after we arrived at our location at the terminal he was staring at me. Was their a connection?

How to transfer pics back to PC from Ipad?

Here is the deal, Had pics taken with phone and Cam and transferred them to PC then synced to my ipad (Camera-->PC-->Ipad). I deleted the pics from Cam, and I dropped my External storage (3 gb) and lost all my important stuff in the process. That being said the ipad is the only device with all the pics. I can easily transfer pics taken with the ipad but can't transfer synced pics back to PC. Some apps and software do that but they all cost 20 bucks or more (too much for a 1 time use. Is there any free way to get these pics before I update my ipad.

So I recently tried to update an app on my Apple IPad 2nd Gen and when I clicked update it opened up the app. I got out of it and tried clicking update on a different app but it always opened the app. So I thought maybe I could update them all but the update all button was grey and unable to be clicked. Uploading an image onto Redbubble help?

I'm trying to upload my first piece of artwork onto Redbubble but I'm having a bit of trouble with the size of the image. It's a digital image I created on my iPad and the picture fills the screen on my iPad. I've gone onto photoshop and compared the size of my image against one already uploaded by somebody else and there really isn't that much difference. When I try to edit the positioning ect of my image on the t-shirts, it says that the image is 100% the size but it's absolutely tiny. I don't know what else to do. Please help.

Safe to leave iPad updating overnight?

My iPad 2 is due for an update, but I don't want to delete all my apps I order to update it, so I was going to plug it into my computer and update it through iTunes.

The update takes 7-8 hours. I use my iPad for a lot of things so I don't have the time to wait 7 hours for it to update during the day.

I'm worried about leaving it updating overnight. Is it a safe thing to do? It concerns me with, y'know, overheating and stuff like that. But is it safe?
