Why does my safari close instantly when I open it on my iPad mini ios 7?

So basically every time I go to open safari on my iPad it closes instantly help please.

What's wrong with my iPad's battery?

I have no idea why, but when I use my ipad and IF it's battery is low, it'll suddenly switch off when I'm using an app or doing something on it, even if I'm using it while it charges. This has happened suddenly and as I said, it happens even when I'm using it while it charges… Should I get it repaired or start using it when the battery's a bit higher? Any answers please I'm really worried.
Added (1). It never happened before and I've noticed that it's started since I've installed the iOS 7.1.1 update. It's happening since about 2-3 days now…

Why does the battery hazard light come on when an iPad is in use?

My iPad wasn't being charged and the percentage left was 59%. Yet the screen went off and the it flashed an red battery symbol prompting me to charge it.

How could the battery be flat at 59%?

I have a list of about 150 apps that I need download for about 42 schools each with their own apple id. Is there a way to accomplish this without downloading each one with each account? All free apps.
