Apple Pencil keeps disconnecting with iPad Pro?

I got an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil on Tuesday and I've been drawing a lot on it lately. I was drawing today when it just stopped working. I used my finger and it drew fine, but the pencil wouldn't do anything. I plugged it back in to the iPad to see if it would work, then it started drawing normally again. Less than a minute later, it does it again. Plugged it in, worked fine. It just started doing this. It worked fine this morning. What's wrong with it?

How much memory does an iPad Pro need?

I'm just going to buy a used iPad Pro off Amazon. They have Rose Gold in 9.7 size for a pretty big savings (http://amzn.to/1SE7HZ2) but I don't know how much space I will need. Is the 128 enough for watching movies and reading books? It will mostly be for kids' books and apps.

What are Ipads for? What can my Ipad do that my laptop cant?

So I have a AT&T contract and being a loyal customer who always pays their bills on time they wanted to reward me with a free Ipad. Deep down I always kind of wanted one but i would never go out of my way to buy one.

I just thought why not. Well i received it the other day and its just chilling not being used.

What can an Ipad do? I want to make it useful.
