I have an ipod touch, the one without a camera, and its 64GB. I really want an ipad and the only reasons i could come up with is that it's a newer generation so it will be faster, and have a camera. Everyone is calling it the iPad 4, but Apple only calls it "iPad with retina display" on their online store.So… the iPad that just came out is the fourth generation iPad, but why does Apple not call it the iPad 4?

I have a few videos I took on my Droid X (the very first one: P) and I put them on my computer. I put them in their own file and everything and on iTunes I synced that folder (I did click include videos) but then an error message came up and said that the videos couldn't be put on my iPad because the format is not supported. I bought my ipad2 6 months ago. And now i am experiencing probems regarding the screen sensitivity. A line which is half an inch wide lost its sensitivity. That line is on the lower part of the ipad. Maybe an inch from the home button. Whenever I draw a line, it always breaks when I strike on that part. I'm having a hard time tapping on some letters as well. I called apple support in Singapore because I've already verified that it is still under warranty. I was also honest about a dent.My ipad2 has a centimeter long dent on top near the switch button. I told them that I'm not sure whether the dent was caused by dropping it or bumping it into something. A supervisor then told me that my ipad will not be considered for warranty. I have read on some blogs that even though their Ipad has dent or even watermark, it was replaced by calling and asking for considerations. The person I spoke with didn't even required me to send a picture just like what some agent did with some client. I am wondering if its okay if I call them again? Because the dent is just so small and honestly I can't afford to have my ipad repaired. Please help me.

An iPad or a Desktop Computer?

So my dad is offering me either a brand new desktop computer or an iPad for Christmas. The desktop I have now is really slow and old an runs on Windows XP. I hardly use it though because I'm constantly on my iPod Touch like I am right now. I keep all of my iPod's music on iTunes on my dad's computer because mine is so old. But I also have my mom's old Windows XP laptop that has no Internet connection like my desktop does and I mainly use it for school work. If I need to print something I just put it on my flash drive then print it on my dad's computer.
So I'm coflicted. I hardly use my computer, but I would like a new one to hold everything I have on iTunes and to play some online games not available on Apple products.It would work a lot faster and have more space like I want it to and I would probably begin using it more often. I am constantly on my iPod and an iPad wouldn't be as expensive as a new desktop computer might. Which should I pick? Any suggestions?

My iPad battery is not as strong?

I know the iPad 3 has a 10 hour battery life, and that's how it was when I first bought the iPad.
But now I've noticed that I would be using the iPad from 3 pm til 7pm and it'll go from 89 percent to 25 percent in just those 4 hours. I don't know if it's because I'm using my iPad apps more or if the battery is losing its power.

They are having sales now. SALES.As in reduced price. That's really a Microsoft thing. Or any of the other companies.

They made a new size for the iPhone screen, and the iPad mini, which would really piss me off if I were a developer.
New screen size means time and money wasted in changing all the images, and the iPad mini is kind of like a cheat enabler for some iPad games where the screen size actually matters, not to mention the fact that it jacks up lots of size specific apps.

Oh yeah. Maps. I'm sure from now on Apple will be notoriously the best online Map maker there is from now on, but the fact that they had to learn a lesson like that is really a Microsoft thing.

Oh yeah, and that guy who runs Microsoft is saying they want to be more like Apple. I feel like it's possible that our future will see Windows OS inhabiting only elite computing systems made by Microsoft, and cheap crap for any computer made by Apple.

Any explanations for this scary incident?

Last night I was at a girls house.It was a free house with just me, the girl, and her sister. The girl was sat in the middle of the couch holding an iPad and her sister and I was sat either side of her watching a video on youtube.At this point she was sat on her phone, both hands never left the ipad as we we all watching this video.

Suddenly the house phone rang. Her sister went to answer it, and there was a silence followed by a computerized voice saying "go die", as if somebody had text the home phone.At this point we were slightly creeped out but we thought somebody was screwing with us because it was coming up with an 07 number.

We tried re dialing it, the first time it said it was engaged, the second time it rang the girls phone.At this point we were freaking out because one, that girl doesn't even have the home number saved into her phone, and two, none of these girls had touched the phone at all until the girl realized it was coming from her phone.

Does anybody have any explanations for this? Perhaps somebody somewhere else sent a text to the home phone and somehow managed to make it show up as the girls number?

Time Machines and Time Capsules for Mac's?

I know from research that the Time Capsule is a faster, better, and larger Time Machine technically. But do these Time Machines and Capsules wirelessly connect just to one Apple product or can you back up multiple allowed apple products such as other mac's and or iPads. Also, do time machines work by just enabling it when you have a external (let's say) USB 3 Stick? I need to know as much info as these as possible. Also, for the pricing what's better for me? Is the Time Capsule a shared back up for the rest of my "Apple liking" family?

Im getting a ipad 3 16gb tomorrow. And wondering if anyone who has a ipad 3 16gb has enough space on theres for like 100 apps 20-50mb apps. And a few bog apps and still have enough space because i cant really afford a 32gb at the moment(il have to save up like 3 months). I am really worried im going to use up alot of space il only have like 100 songs(100 mb) a ot of apps, no movies(il probaly use air vid or something for that) and maybe a few photos.So can anyone confort me on the space so i dont have to send it back.thanks

Should I get a iPad/Samsung?

I am starting to feel the need to replace my barley functioning 6 year old laptop with a tablet. After using a smart phone I am starting to appreciate the iPad more and more. Also I know the storage is only 64GB. I was thinking of buying around 5 64GB mini SD cards and use one for school/work, 3 for media, 1 for general purpose. I am also considering the Samsung Galaxy pad because I like that too.
Also I am probably going to buy the Samsung. Everytime I go to the store planning to buy the apple product I come out with something diffrent. Such as buying the Zune HD, Zune, and Laptop (zune was awsome. I still use it and the battery still functions like new after 4 years latter).

I have an ipad 2 and I was given the password to connect to a nursing home's wifi as a visitor of a resident of the nursing home.At first I thought that I simply had the wrong password. Finally I discovered that the nursing home connection intermittently appears in the available networks.It doesn't stay connected long enough for me to even do a google search. Way to clean iPad Mini's back?

I've recently got my iPad Mini and am enjoying it a ton but I'm encountering problems with keeping the back of the iPad clean. Dreams About My Ex Dying?

Me and my Ex broke up two months ago. I ended it and I realized it was a mistake and wanted him back so bad. Sometimes he ignores me on purpose. We were in a long-distance relationship and never met. I told him 4 days ago I wasn't gonna bother with him for a long time. I talked with someone the day before the dream who had a long-distance where the person just disappeared. I told him I would've been scared to death if that happened to me and my Ex if we were still together and that I would worry he was hospitalized or dead.

My dream was that I heard my Ex was dead and I saw him lying dead somewhere in a casket I think. But it wasn't exactly him, it was him on the inside but on the outside it looked like his current girlfriend. I felt so full of grief that he died and I didn't feel good after I woke up.

This isn't the first dream I had about my Ex. There were two if I remember correctly, one was where I was on an iPad on Skype video call and we were a couple again smiling and acting all sweet like we did before. (We've only video called once where we acted like this and I kept wanting to do it again but he was always too busy or didn't want to). The second one is where we were hanging out in real life acting like great friends and messing around with each other.

I don't know what to feel about my Ex at this point. I've always wanted to meet him and try again as a couple, but I just don't know anymore.

What's happened to kids today in summer?

As a teenager i was very much the average teen, i nthe summer holidays me and my friends used to go out for a massive game of football every day, or if its not football it would be manhunt or we used to make our own games. I remember my summer holidays, from the late 1990s/early 2000s so there wasnt all this technology and facebook, twitter around, so we used to go out everyday.As i got older we started to meet girls, go to partys, go to camp together and we really enjoyed our summer holidays. Just like most boys do to be honest. I have a nephew who is 11 and all he does is stay in and play on his ipad, I once had to look after him for a day and he invited his friend over just to play on the xbox 360. But he told me thats what kids nowadays. I find it pretty sad how time has changed in just 10 years, you dont get as many kids out in the summer holidays as what you used too. Summer holidays sure is the best times being a teenager, with all the partys, one summer we even made a tree house and stayed up there all night when i was like 15. Great memories, I just can't understand what's happened to kids today? I moved house earlier this year close to a nature park, I used to go there as a kid and it was packed every day, not going to lie but there was hardly any kids there. Why have kids changed so much?

I need urgent help for my ipad!

I got my Ipad 4 on the 5th of November and its almost been a month. I have a problem now, I just noticed that my camera internal shutter doesn't open to take pictures and sometimes it does and if it does then its a pitch black scree, the same thing happens with Instagram I open it to take a picture and it is pitch black, and I press the take a picture button and it takes it but I can't see what I'm taking a picture of! Best bedroom audio setup?

With Christmas around the corner, I've been looking around for audio setups for my room. I was hoping to get a really nice system for under the $250 territory. I plan on using them for audio for my TV, but also to play music off of my iPad. I bought a 2.1 set for $50 and it broke within a week.

So my brother and I have been using Minecraft Pocket Edition (On ipad 2 with latest update for IOS and Minecraft), and we are interested in making a portal to the "Nether" We tried to find Obsidian to make the portal but when we find water and lava together, all we get is cobblestone. We have tried the "Herodine" seed and the "Notch" seed. On "Herodine" we cant even find lava by the waterfall and on "Notch" all we get is cobblestone. Can someone PLEASE help my brother and I? Okay so me and her were dating for 1 year and 9 months we are both freshman as of
now the reason I think she was cheating on me is during the end of last year on the last day of school as told me she broke her phone and it would be over half the summer till she got a new one. I was kinda suspicious but I thought she wouldn't lie to me.So I was like okay and so one day I was browsing Facebook and I see this kid named Dillion and he did one of those things if I get 10 likes ill answer every question and on of the questions was last text and it said my girlfriends name!!! So I was what the ***?! And I was like calm down let's see how long ago this was posted and it was 3 minutes ago. After that I could never really trust her. But I never suspected cheating.So school starts up again and were going good but I took her iPad (our school gives us iPad we have all out books and stuff on it) and she freaked out I opened the cover and she had been emailing Dillion like 70+ emails and that hurt so much because when ever I email her she never responds and when she does she says she busy.So about a month goes on and she breaks up with me she gave me no reason why well actually she said I think we should see "other" people.So I'm completely heartbroken and I didn't even want to go to school because I got no sleep and my every were all red (yes I cried) and so the next day my ex and Dillion are holding hands and making out right in front of me! (Her locker is four down from mine) I went home right away. And then later on I was on Instagram and I see her and Dillion at her house and pictures of them at his house and them at movies and the reason that hurt is because she told me when we were dating that she wasn't allowed to go on dates with boys.So yeah did she cheat on me?

I've no idea at all about these tablets. I'd like one for looking at and storing photo's, I won't be downloading music or films. So I went to bed around 12 and I played on myipad for about 30 minutes. When I go to bed I make sure my ipad has charge, and tonight it did. But it didn't when I woke up. My iPad won't connect to my home Wi-Fi? - 1

My iPad automatically connects to any other Wi-Fi.My friends house, at school. But when I bring it home, the only way to get it to connect to the wireless connection is to turn it off for 30 seconds then turn it back on.It will stay connected until I turn the iPad off, or take it somewhere else and connect it. For example, i'll get it to work at home. Then I take it to school for a day and connect it there, when I come home I will have to turn the wifi off and then back on. Any suggestions as to what to do? This also includes my iPod & iPhone

Since Christmas is coming up i wanted a gift that will be fun to play. Of course i want something that i can play games with. I want the iPad mini cause ive always wanted an iPad and the others are way more expensive and i like the portability. I want the Wii U because everybody is saying that is a good console. Okay so I got an ipad just like 2 weeks ago. I plugged in the charger to the computer and connected it into the ipad.its a 3. and itcharges until it gets to 1% and then it says not charging.so it wont charge any further and i dont know why. i tried different computers it does the same thing. Well, I have been with this boy for a quite a while now, But I am not sure if I should even be with him because well, for one, He hates all of my friends even though he hasn't met them. He says that everyone in my town is really stupid, and When I told him I wanted to be a princess he said good luck with that, I'm not pretty enough, and when I told him I wanted to go into forensic psychology he said, yeah you would have much better luck being a princess. That's not even it either. Right now he is mad at me because I am on the cheering team, and he hates cheerleaders, and he hates that I will be at practice rather than talking to him until 4:30 every night. I don't want to quit the team, but he is trying to make me. Also, He said because he hates all my friends, I am not allowed to have friends, and when he heard I was hanging out with one of my friends after school, and in class he got so mad at me! and these friends are all girls! In the beginning of the relationship he cheated on me with my friend who he said he completely hated, because she was ugly and annoying and stupid, and she bothered him.but than when she told me about everything I didn't know about, he told her to go kill herself! now, that's only the beginning of that, but when it isn't all fighting and being mad we are really cute and everything seems really great.we have fun, and laugh and watch TV, and play games on his Ipad and go for walks on weekends when he comes over.but I just don't know anymore. I wanted more opinions on this besides my friends that would obviously tell me to ditch him just because they don't like him, and they don't want me to be with him.

IPad restore problems?
