Alternative sites to buying text books?

I'm starting my first year in college this August. I still haven't purchased my books yet. My books will cost exactly $537.78 this semester. Sorry but I am not going to pay for that with my grant money.

Is there a website to where you can download books? I have an IPAD and Sony Vaio laptop. I am thinking of buying the old editions. That is what my mom did in college.

Download error tap to retry on ipad?

I have the really old ipad 1. I only have 1.8 gb of space left and i want to download 19 45-minute videos off itunes. It already charged me $60, and it says download error tap to retry! So i figured i dont have enough space left. What do i do? I dont think i have enough space for all those videos! How do i get my money back?

Is my bedroom haunted or something?

This is very weird but one day my family and I went to the mall and before I went to the mall I charged my iPad. I am 100 % sure I on the switch I even checked. No one was upstairs. (charged it upstairs) when I got back home the switch was off. I asked if anyone went up after I charged no one did. No one was at home only my uncle and great grandma my great grandma can't climb up the stairs(she's on a wheelchair) and my uncle doesn't really go upstairs and I asked did he off the charger he just said what charger? I was so scared that someone was in my room. This is not the only time, my mom charged her phone in that room and make sure it's on( she has excellence memory than the whole family) the next day it's off. The only person in the room was grandma and she didn't even know anything about on & offs of chargers. The other time I was alone in my room and then suddenly the bathroom door was pushed open violently and I freaked out and looked around no one was in the bathroom or in the room it wasn't my siblings who is playing a trick my sibling wasn't at home, she was at piano class. My room is also colder than other places in the house please help! This is not a joke I'm so freaked out and scared.

I really don't want to use YouTube, I just don't like using it to listen but does anyone know any apps that i can download for my iPad so I can listen to a few drama CDs?

How to make skype appear on my settings?

I can't find the app "skype" in my settings. Anyone know how to make skype appear in my settings in my ipad? Thank you for any help.

360 controller and ipad mini?

I wonder if I connect them somehow without anything else. I searched it but couldn't fine anything considerable.

ICloud and different devices?

Okay so my mom took my iPad with her on a trip and I completely forgot that if you download an app it goes to all devices connected to iCloud.
So I downloaded facebook. So I know the app downloaded but my question is will it log in to my facebook account? Or will it just download the app and go to the login screen?

Suggestions for fun apps?

I'll be going on a trip to Italy in just over a week but I'll be spending A LOT of time in airports. I'm bringing my ipad and I need suggestions for apps to get that might help pass the time? Any games or photo editing or anything like that, just something that would amuse me and pass the time. What are your favorites?

How to pass the time at work?

I work on a golf course and my shifts are 11 hours long. I don't have access to netflix and I can't use too much video because it wastes data, but I do have an iPad. I read a lot but it doesn't always fill the hours in the day. Most of the time I'm just waiting for people to come in to buy something which only takes about a minute. I need some sort of activity to fill all of the free time I have in there. Any ideas?
