I bought a stolen ipad air?

So I bought a iPad off craigslist and turns out that they stole it from a high school it lets me do everything a normal iPad can but it has apps from the school that can't be deleted even if you reset the iPad. It even tells me that it's configured by the school so they can check anything or delete anything through icloud and I want to know if there's anyway to get rid of that because I had no clue it was stolen and I don't want to be accused of doing something I didn't when I just simply bought it… Any ideas?

Added (1). If I have an iPad Air 2 do I really need iPhone 6 plus and all its features? I really like the excessive battery life on the plus which is almost kinda like the most important deal breaker for me. But some friends have told me that there is no point in buying an iPhone 6 plus if I already have the iPad. I am worried about the size, slipperiness and bendgate about the 6+ but the battery life and the horizontal screen on the plus is something I appreciate. So should I buy an iPhone 6 or iPhone 6+?

Have you jailbroken your ios device before?

If so, was it a good experience or a bad one? Why?

I would like to jailbreak my ipad to watch movies/tv shows that aren't on netflix, only I'm afraid of it getting messed up. When I jailbroke my old iPhone a couple of months ago, I tried to download winterboard and something weird happened, and my phone got stuck on the apple sign and it took me 2 hours to fix.
