Exchange iPad for new color?

I found my Christmas present, an iPad 3! I'm super excited but I can't seem to get over the fact that it's black. I know I need to be grateful that I even got one but I've actually been saving up for one myself so I've had my heart set on the white one for a long time.

It was purchased at Walmart. I'll try to get the receipt but if I can't could I go to the Apple store and exchange it for the same model just a different color?

How to factory reset my ipad?

Hmm. The problem is, restrictions is enabled in my ipad but the password was forgotten. Whenever I try to FR my ipad, I would have the key in my restrictions password which cannot be remembered. I really need to FR my ipad as some features have been disabled by restrictions.
