WiFi Keeps Disconnecting?

Hi,
My family and I just moved, and got Shaw - we're all computer newbies so we used the free router they gave us (I don't know what kind it is, I just know it's linksys). It worked perfectly fine for a couple months. First, the Internet on a Samsung Ace phone wouldn't work, even though the phone said it was connected and the signal strength was full. I thought it was a faulty device, except later an iPad and an HP laptop started doing the same thing. The Internet doesn't work. The only solution we've found is to turn the WiFi off, and then back on - it works for maybe ten minutes before it stops connecting.
The thing is, an Acer laptop that we have connects fine, and has never had any problems. None of us can figure out what's wrong.

My iPad 2 charges very slowly?

It's not iOS 7.
I put my iPad 2 on charge when it was on 11% at 18:22 and now at 23:41 it is only on 40%,i looked 5 minutes ago and it has only charged by 2%.
I know it's not the iOS upgrade because my iPhone 4s charges very quickly!

11.8 gb left in brand new iPad Mini 2 16 gb? - 1

I purchased an iPad Mini awhile ago and it came with a capacity of 12.8 gb. Obviously this isn't a lot but I assumed it to be normal with preinstalled apps and software. I have only downloaded 2 apps which took up a couple of mb and I took 4 pictures. When I checked the storage again, I got shocked finding out that only 11.8 gb is left. I haven't done any update whatsoever. Is this even normal? Why did it take up as much as 1 gb? Can you please help me out? I'm a little worried. :(

I checked the usage portion in settings and only a couple of mbs and a few kbs is used, so I'm pretty sure that the apps have nothing to do with it. :(

What other Apps are available that are like BADLAND and The Room?

I love to play games on my iPad when I'm in my taxi on the way to Uni, I play games like BADLAND, The Room and The Room Two but I've completed them and I'm wondering what other Apps are there?

I enjoy indie games but unfortunately you can't get The Binding of Isaac on the App Store. I enjoy puzzle games but ones that aren't too hard as I only play a max of 30 minutes each session. I don't mind having to pay for an app and actually have £30 put away for just purchasing apps.

Any suggestions would be great and I'm very open minded and don't mind trying other things except shooting games like what EA have out out since I leave that for my PC.

IPad 3rd generation 3G NO SERVICE error?

It's my first time to use 3G on an iPad device… Upon inserting the sim into its slot…it keeps giving no service on the network status bar…I tried resetting and restoring the iPad but it was no use and I inserted the same 3G sim in an iPhone 4, it worked perfectly… I live outside the states and The iPad is legally unlocked… So please help me resolve this problem

Okay so when I first set up my iPad I put iCloud on and I set it up with my parents email address. PP25 Apps don't appear?

I have PP25 on my ipad, and I added 2 apps that both require 400 mb, which is a lot of storage for me. However, when downloaded, it doesn't appear anywhere on the ipad (I have searched for it) and it still takes up the space. I feel ashamed.can't face my stepdad?

I asked this question before but got no answers.
About a month ago my bf came over to my house 3 times. He only came in for a few mins and then we went to the park since I knew he wasn't allowed inside. I didn't let my parents know since they're racist (especially my stepdad) and I felt ashamed. So it all happened when they were at work. My bf is great. He buys me flowers, calls me everyday etc. well as it turns out my neighbour saw us that day and told my stepdad who told my mum. She said she was sad that I have secrets from her and asked if we have to see gynaecologist.but of course me and my bf didn't even do anything.only hang out at the park. My step dad yelled at me and took my iPad. I got this weird panic attac or whatever that mum wanted to call an ambulance. Tbh I don't care if they yelled at me. I don't care if they're mad. I care because I feel like I've let them down. I don't even wanna face them ever again. I also told my mum about me cutting myself and she told me she knew but was waiting for me to tell her. And the thought of breaking up with my bf pops up too. I'm so lost. Thanks

So I am in need of some opinions on choosing what Ipad mini I should get. First off, I'm getting an Ipad no matter what, so don't recommend me a Samsung Or nexus. Reason why I want an Ipad is because I have a ton of money I have invested into the app store, and I just like the os. I am either getting The first generation or the retina, both Ipad minis. The thing I plan on doing on these devices is Web Browsing, watching Youtube, Maybe some light gaming, and the occasional typing for school papers. Shaky and Trembling Hands?

Ever since maybe around grade 3 or 4 (in grade 12 now) I've had these shaky hands. And maybe two times in grade 9 and 10 my hands shook violently to the point of freaking me out and having to sit on them till they stopped. When i went to a doctor last winter she told me it was because i was a naturally nervous person but when im by myself im not nervous and my hands still shake? The first time my hands shook violently i was in my room laying on my stomach reading a boring Manga(Comic Book) on my ipad and my hands started shaking and i dropped my ipad and couldnt close my fingers or hold anything so i sat on em'. stopped after a minute or two. I've had my blood tested and its perfectly normal. So i was wondering why this is happening. And if there is any advice to get it to stop?

I bought an iPad Air on ebay for $860, the seller sent me a box with packing martial in it! No iPad Air! The package weight 12 oz's.

I just received an E-mail from paypal that they ruled in my favor. Though I have to send the merchandise back to the seller/thief and he has to sign for it! No merchandise to send back.

My questions are, how do I get seller/thief to sign for a package that he essentially stole from me? Why would he sign for it? It makes no since to me!

I attend a community college. I took out no loans and I'm strictly paying with financial aid. What pc parts should I get?

I just broke my power socket on my £600 laptop which really has annoyed me, espeicially as it was a stupid mistake so I'm left with just my iPad at the moment but I have a basic pc case, two SSDs from the laptop and a decent ANTEC PSU but I'm withiut a CPU, mobo and gpu.

I'm after cheap items, I'm only earning apprenticeship wage!
He only game I play is Football manager so I don't need anything like an 2500k or 3570k.

To put it in comparison, my laptop had an i7 5370q or something like that, with a GT650M gpu which is more than enough for what I wanted.

Can you suggest any equivalent components?
I usually use intel and ATI Radeon but I'm open to AMD and Nvidia.

Added (1). Hi fork, I can solder, well I like to think I can but there's two very thin metal strips which is guess are suppose to sort of lock the power cable when it's inserted I got he laptops socket but they're completed ruined, the socket is also connected to the motherboard as a whole:(

I love to read novels, especially classics dating back to the 19th century, and my favourite part is reading a book paper through paper, while holding the book in my actual hands.
But a relative of mine has offered to buy a graduation present under the condition that it is not a book -_-"
I wouldn't need a laptop since I'm getting that when I go to college next year.I would ask for an ipad but my sister wants to buy me that as a graduation present
But the truth remains that I have no use for any of these electronics except for a laptop and a phone which I will receive and I have.
So I consisdered getting a Kindle.for those who don't know what it is, it's a device only for reading, where you can buy books off it, and read them on it.a friend of mine suggested it and told me that it's quite effecient, but I don't like the idea of reading books electronically.books should be on paper not in devices
And I've been working on my book collection for nearly 4 years now, and it's gotten quite big!
So I would dearly love opinions:
Do you think a Kindle is good? Or should I ask for something else?
If it's something else.what do you suggest it should be?

Mines is Delicious Appetites the best food hands down
cant go wrong with a Restaurant, Bar and Café concept all in one.
Plus they have a drive up for 5 star Restaurant customers who want to stay in there car
as well as a drive thru for the café and bar of course the limit is 1 Drink Per Car Occupant

But they make you sign a wavier stating something and if they smell alcohol on you they can refuse service, but either way its a cool place in the bar area they have TV's
in the café area they have a library/office like section
and in the restaurant area they have a new bands and artists every night.

on top of that I got proposed to there they put a light spotlight on your table and then they have a TV area in the restaurant with slide shows as well as a interesting little ipad where people can choose to donate to the couple how cool is this place its a medium size place but when you walk in you fill like your in paradise. I could go on and on about this place I heard they are starting a chain of delicious appetite locations so this should be good.

I don't know if you can see in is picture, but there are lines on some of Darcy's scales.
It's almost like they are folded, in some areas there are one or two scales that are actually raised.

I am in school and I write an EXTREME amount of essays. I already have an Ipad 2, and bought the wireless keyboard… it seems to work good, but there's only a certain amount of things I can do with it. I really want to give my heart to GOD?

Nothing I desire more than this. I know its the best way to go and it is in my heart to do it but I feel like I would have to really have to change some habits, for example I am convinced that internet and television would have to go. AF BMT/Tech School Packing?

I leave for BMT in two weeks. I'm trying to pack, but am confused on the transition from BMT to Tech School. My recruiter won't respond to my calls, and I'm desperate.

I know what needs to be brought to basic, I already have those things gathered, but when I go to Tech School, how am I suppose to get things like my iPad or extra civilian clothing there? I don't feel comfortable having it locked up with everyone else's things, so am I suppose to pack a bag of Tech School things for my parents to bring to graduation?

Also, my Tech School will be in Goodfellow TX. Do I have to take the plane to get there or can my family drive me?

So, I have been on quotev for about 6 months, and I reached up to 201 followers last night, I was halfway done my story which seemed to be getting popular, and then this morning I went on my ipad(which I always use for quotev) and it said that my quotev account has been disabled. I don't recall doing anything bad on there causing someone to report me, I have always been nice on there. And, is there a way to get it back? I tried logging into my other accounts and it won't let me, then I tried signing up for a new one, and it still wouldn't let me. Should I try on my laptop? Recently I ordered 5 ipad cases and they weren't as high quality as described and I want to return them.

They had come with a stylus and screen protector. Problem is, I took one of the cases out of the package to see how good it was and used the screen protector. Why does he keep doing this?

This guy in my school is always staring at me whenever I see him. The other day in assembly, he was sitting across the room from me and he turned in his chair so he was facing me and his phone was held up and pointed in my direction and then when his friends came up to him, he quickly put his phone away and turned back round in his seat. Another time I was in class doing an essay and he walked in and sat 2 seats away from me and turned to face me and was on his iPad and it was held up pointing in my direction again. Then left after about 10 minutes. Sometimes, when I'm walking to class, he stands at the door and he is usually on his phone and it was pointed in my direction again. Why does he keep pointing his phone/iPad in my direction?

Is fear of damaged electronics common?

I dont even know how to begin to explain this.
I really hate seeing things like shattered iphone screens. Even if it belongs to a stranger, it causes a physiological reaction in me. My stomach turns, and its hard to look at.
Another instance, i laid my ipad down, and my arm touched it. I wasnt wearing my glasses, and when i looked at the screen, i just saw this massive black blob as if id damaged the screen somehow.
I could barely pick it up to investigate. I came really close to throwing up, then when i finally looked closer at the screen, i saw that it was actually just a big picture of a pair of black crocs. I have no idea how it got there, (but then i had an all new reason to want to throw up hehe)
But yeah, is there a word for this? Other than "crazy"? I also dont like seeing lots of dots or spots close together, and i know thats common. But this seems different.

My parents give me £450 a month. I've been fine with spending it, last week I bought an iPad Air, the other week I got a few PS4 and PC games etc but recently whenever I spend money I get this horrible twisting feeling in my gut.

Power button not working on iPad 2?

I have a nearly two year old iPad 2. It's in good condition, about a year ago the screen had to be replaced, but since then it's never had any glitches or malfunctions… Until recently. My sister hit my iPad really, really hard (long story), and now the power button does not work.

The only way to make my iPad 'sleep' is shut the cover. I also have to constantly keep it on charge because if it ran out, it would have no way to power up again.

Is there any way to fix my power button? (And please don't confuse me with computer lingo, I'm not good with it)

My iPad never charges unless it's off and if it's on it says 'Charging not supported with this accessory.' It's not the charger because I've used five different chargers and nothing charges it. I would go to the apple store but I seriously doubt they can do anything about it and all that's going to happen is they're going to charge me a great deal and it'll break in another week, so I'm not going to do that. I've rebooted it, I've dine everything. I would be ale to cope with it charging when off but it takes a whole day literally just to get 100% and then runs down in a few hours which isn't worth it. I seriously need help with this. I know it recognises that it charges because when it's off and I plug the charger in it automatically turns back on but then the yellow exclamation mark comes up and it's just getting to the point where it's too difficult so work with. Help, please!

My nana wants me to have an iPad for the stupid Kingdom hall to study the watchtower and stuff. first off i don't even wanna do that.

how can i get her to not get my papaw to get it?
I don't want it because I have an iphone, I don't need an ipad, you spend so much on nothing, it's one more thing for me to get addicted to, i prefer actual books over an ipad, etc. I just don't want one.

On my iPad how can I transfer a video from 'videos' to 'camera roll'?

I have a video on a CD and through iTunes I have transferred input onto my iPad. It has gone into videos. I want to be able to share it on Facebook or YouTube… Facebook doesn't seem to accept as it is taking hours and YouTube crashes as soon as I try to upload it. I was just working on iPad, and opened settings,language and then clicked chose a language that I don't understand(and clicked done). After that ipad reloaded, but with That language. Any Good Sad Romance Movies Like A Walk to Remember and Keith?

I'm really into sad romantic movies lately and have watched a few but need more. I've already searched online for some but they're either too old or I can't watch them on my iPad or laptop for free. I don't want any below 2000 and please don't mention these ones because I've already watched them:

The Notebook - really enjoyed it (cried a lot)
A Walk to Remember - one of my fav movies (cried even more)
Dear John - really good (didn't cry though)
Remember Me - loved it (shed some tears)
Titanic - LOVE it (cry every time)
P.S I Love You - it was OK ( cried A LOT)
Now is Good - it was good (shed some tears)
Keith - really liked it (didn't cry though)
The Lucky One - least favorite one (didn't cry)
Safe Haven - it was good (didn't cry)
The Vow - Really good ( didn't cry though)
I think that's all the movies I've watched which are related to sad romance movies.

I know about The Last Song which I'm going to watch soon. Also I would preferably want movies which are based on teenagers and set in a high school or something like that (doesn't have to be). I will love you if you can give me a movie which I would really like to watch. I swear I've watched all the good movies:'( oh and I don't want any comedies. My wifi isn't working? - 1

Hi, so recently my wifi keeps disconnecting every couple of hours. I'm using my iPad but its the same with the computer. Every few hours it cuts out. What I've been doing is turning the broadband off and on then it works. This takes atleast 10minutes to do. And is very annoying.
When i click the wifi on my ipad without resetting it it says.

Unable to join (my wifi network).

OK. I keep trying to login to my facebook account via my new ipad for the first time, it is 32gb and non-cellular, but i have set it up with Wi-Fi. Why hasn't he replied to me?

Okay so this boy started speaking to me on Facebook last night, he spoke to me a couple of times in November as well and only just popped up again last night, we said hi how are you and all that and then he goes: wuut? So I said not much just sorting things out for tomorrow, you? (I sent that last night) he took a while to reply so I just turned my ipad off hoping he would have replied this morning. It's been 24 hours and still no answer! He hasn't opened my message on Facebook so I don't know if he's just ignoring it or not. He's posted a picture on instagram as well so it's not like he has no internet or anything, why is he ignoring me? Did I say something wrong? I'm fed up of this happening all the time!

Should I get a new macbook, or a new iPad?

Macbook is late-2008 aluminum, not pro. Battery dead. Works ok.
iPad is the original iPad 3G, cannot upgrade iOS any more. Works fine.

Both are getting older (I probably won't be able to upgrade to the next Mac OSX either.)

I'll upgrade laptop or iPad, but not both. Which is the better upgrade? As in, which will give me more mileage.

Note: I mostly do: Facebooking, emailing, TV watching (in Flash), document composing in Pages.
Will a new iPad with keyboard suffice? And get a new battery for Mac for now.

Currently I rarely use the iPad because I don't like typing on it, and I imagine Pages is not as good. Ideas?

All apps on my device (ipad) dissappeared?!

i have a jbroken ipad with evasi0n 7, on ios 7.0.4
i did a respring and all the apps were gone, except the stock apps and what is installed from cydia
this happened with me once on my old device and a reboot fixed the prob but now its not working
i tried deleting the recent installed tweaks and what cold possibly affect icon but nothing work

note: i dont have sbsetting
also i searched in ifile var/mobile/media/applications and all the app files are still there and nothing is missing

If I charge my ChomeBook battery before it dies?

…Will I totally kills the battery sooner?

When I got the ChromeBook over the summer, I had been really good at waiting until my battery died. before recharging it. However, a few times (okay, maybe more than a few) this past couple of weeks, I've been charging it before the battery died. (Usually when there was less than half an hour left.) Today, I waited until it died, to charge it. (Actually, it had four minutes left, and when I tried turning it back on, it signaled that the battery had died.) I waited yesterday, as well.

Yesterday, when the battery died after a three hours, I charged it and was pretty good at unplugging it when it was done. (I try and do that so it's not connected for too long.) It seemed to last just a few hours again. This morning, I opened my computer about nine and after a few minutes, checked the charge time. It told me 2:57 in less than a half an hour, even twenty minutes, the time dwindled down about twenty minutes. Ugh.

I also got in the habit of not turning my laptop off when I wasn't using it, as I discovered that it seemed to recharge while on. Did that help kill the battery too?

When I first got it, I turned it off between uses because I thought that would help keep the battery charged longer. (I noticed once that it seemed to self charge when I left it on, so I got into that habit.) Am I actually hurting it by leaving it on? (We visited my parents for a couple of days between Christmas and New Year's. I forgot my charger and left my laptop on to keep it charged. It worked for that.)

There was a time when I had to mess around just to kill the battery, now it seems to be draining quickly. I suppose it's getting older, but after just four or five months? (Since getting it, I rarely use my PC, as this is portable.)

This only a netbook, which I don't like. When my husband gave it to me, and he realized it too, I should have sent it back. However, I liked having a laptop again, and one I didn't have to keep plugged in. (My old laptop I inherited from my husband. He had dropped a large computer speaker on it and basically left it for dead. However, a computer tech friend of ours resurrected it after my husband got a new laptop. My old one worked great for having in the living room while playing with the kids or while I was breastfeeding my son.) The thing I don't like about my netbook is that it doesn't have Word and I'm rediscovering my enjoyment of writing. (Though nothing replaces the enjoyment of putting pent to paper, I would like to transfer it. I still have my ancient PC for that, I guess.)

Also, my SIL has an identical laptop that she's had for a year. She keeps hers plugged in for hours on end to charge it and it doesn't seem to effect the battery. (She also has a regular laptop that she kept plugged in thinking that was better. My husband, who is not computer ignorant overall, made the same mistake with both of the laptops. She uses that one as well. She also has an iPhone and and iPad… I don't know why she "needs" all of those, but that's a different discussion.)

Anyway, what can I do to preserve my battery?

After I had to update my Ipad I have not been able to maintain a connection to the internet. My Ipad is able to see the connection but can't connect to it. I've turned my Ipad off and on, nothing happens.

Itunes will not work for me?

When i try to buy a song, or an album on my ipad it wont let me buy it, it wont let me click the button for it. The laptop broke so all i got is the ipad, i cant get on the desktop version. Why does this teacher hate me?!

I'm 13 btw.

So, I've never really liked our LA teacher Mrs Odell. She really seems like she dislikes me, but has never gotten me in trouble before until now. So last week, my close friend jenny and I stepped out of our line (in seventh grade but they still make us line up, absurd I know) so we stepped out of line to take a picture. So right when we did, this Mrs. Odell came by and said, "what are you doing? Come here right now. You are banned to bring your Ipad and phone to school for two weeks! Honestly, you are the only one who causes trouble…" It's not like I'm the only one who has taken pictures with my ipad/iPhone, and not the first one to be seen, but this is the first real punish ever given to someone. I don't even know why she said troublemaker, I suck at her class, but I mean, it doesn't affect the other students. And today (btw, my school has a uniform. Every once in awhile we have casual dress days, and if we are good, we earn casual dress days) so today I was using one of mine. I was talking to my friends about something on my swim team and I said "What the hell was he thinking?!" And then Mrs. Odell comes running in and yells (and I mean YELLS. And these are her real words)
Mrs. Odell: ASA WHAT DID YOU SAY?!
Me: Um, err… (Didn't know what I did)
Mrs. Odell: WHO ARE YOU TO SAY 'HELL'? THATS IT, NO MORE CASUAL DRESS FOR YOU, ONES YOU EARNED OR FOR THE SCHOOL.
I dont what her deal is. She yelled at me a little later when I was going to leave the classroom during a break and didn't get permission (which isn't even a rule) and then watches as two other girls walk out without permission. Why does she hate me? What is her problem? Is it because I suck at grammar, I don't talk in her class?

How to record my singing so it sounds good?

My band and I are going to be recording at a studio in a few weeks, we've preformed live lots of times and I've heard my voice recorded on iPhones and video cameras and it sounds good to me… But preparing for this recording session I've started recording myself on my iPad using a Shure mic and Roland duo-capture ex. Through headphones my voice sounds ok - not as good as it does in my head obviously because of the lack of harmonics, etc, but still pretty good. Now, when I play those recordings through my iPad's speakers, or even my high-end my Bose speaker system it sounds brutal. My voice sounds shaky on the edges of words, it sounds like I'm off-key on some notes, at times it sounds like I'm scared or on the verge of tears lol. I've done lots of research online and I understand why the recordings sound better through headphones, but if I play any song from my iTunes library through my iPad speakers or Bose system the vocalist still sounds great. Is that simply because they are a better singer than me and even through speakers they sound good, or is this the resut of a sound engineer balancing the EQ, etc?

I guess my main question is; right now if I was a third party I would not pay money to buy an album with the lead vocalist sounding like this. Is it possible in a studio to adjust the sound so it becomes something people want to hear?

How to access my home server without internet through an ipad?

Alright so heres the deal, the question above may not be asking the right thing. This is what I'd like to do: I have a web application on my computer that I'd like to use on my ipad. I want the ipad to interact with it as if it was just another website on the internet except this is in a location where the internet isnt accessible. So what options do I have? I was thinking maybe install the server OS on my computer and connect a router directly to the computer; would that work? Any other suggestions as to how I can do this?

How to stop being jealous?

I have a really good life. I have a loving family, great friends, good grades, etc. Everything I need. But at the start of school I started getting really jealous of people who got iPhones, iPads, touchscreen laptops, all that fancy stuff over winter break. I can't get rid of the feeling, its really bothering me. I've never been easily swayed by other people possessions or actions. I keep telling myself that it's ridiculous (it is), but I always feel jealous when I see people with these things. Does anyone have any advice as to how to get rid of this jealousy? IPad Air vs MacBook Air for a student?

I already have alaptop, but I can't bring it to school because it is too heavy. I bought an iPad for its lightness (so I can bring it with me to school) and so I can access lecture PDFs, have my math textbook on it, do online homework on it during breaks, etc. I have a compsci class this semester in which 95% of students use laptops. I can write on paper but it is quite inconvenient since I can't run my tests to see if they're right since the application does not work on the iPad. But, I can always go home and test the notes on my laptop. The prof said that we will start going super fast near the middle of the course, but that I can always look at the laptop of the person beside me if I'm feeling lost.

Question: Should I return my iPad and buy a MacBook Air for home and school, or keep my iPad and use that for school & my laptop for home? I would have to write computer science notes on paper, or get an external keyboard for my iPad (still won't be able to run the code).
