How do I back up my phone to iTunes?

I plugged in my iPhone (5s) to my laptop and all it wants is to save my photos to the photo app and I did that. But when I go to iTunes to backup my whole phone it doesn't show up. The little phone icon doesn't show up and when i go File>Devices-Everything in the devices tab is grey like my phone isn't plugged in (my name is also grey when I go to account). It may be that I don't know how to work the latest iTunes (which I have). I've tried plugging in my phone when iTunes is opened and closed, I've tried restarting my computer and trying to see if my iPad would work (and it doesn't). What am I doing wrong?

How do I let others reply to my comments in Youtube?

Okay so on Youtube some people have it set so that others can reply to the comments they made to videos. Others tho have it so you can only like their comments. Currently people only seem to be able to like my comments but not reply to them. I want to change this so that anyone can reply to the comments I make on different videos but I have no idea how to change this. Also, if I am able to change it can I do it on my iPad or must it be a PC. If you aren't sure about this latter part it's okay.

I currently use an iPhone and a MacBook Air. I need a tablet that is easy and accessible for note taking, accessing Powerpoints and PDF files.

Security Breach on my I Phone & IPad?

I have been experiencing all kinds of security/privacy breaches. I have also noticed that i always have several unknown devices sharing my network. They seem to be connecting to the net through my devices or vice versa! See the screenshot of the connected devices listed on my router's website.

I have just 3 devices; a laptop, an IPhone and an IPad, Someone told me that the unknown devices IP addresses are same as the IP addresses used by Apps. Is it possible that a certain security gap on some apps is being used to hack devices?
I hope Apple is following up on these conversations. There is an opportunity here to examine the infected devices to find out ways to improve security on Apple devices.

i found this injured possum on the road driving from work and since there are no RSPCAs near me I went to the closet vet who said they will only take care of it if I pay full price for its care. My computer doesn't recognize my ipad? - 1

We have windows 7. My ipad is an ipad mini. My ipad 3 which is not a mini can open just fine on the computer. But my ipad mini doesn't. The first time I put it in, they said something like looking for hardware but after that, no matter how many times I tried, it won't work. It says not charging but that's about it.

Hello My Ipad screen Recently got shattered. I am level 110 on farm story, I don't want to lose my game. Is there anyway to sync or switch my Farm Story app onto another device? Nexus 7 or a nook hd tablet? It says online to sign into Facebook- via on ur farm story game. But when I do that, my Facebook doesn't load just a blank cancel page. Also is there a way to maybe back up my game.- maybe in the future months down the road. I can get me another Ipad. I so hope there is a way to share the farm onto a Android device. Why does my wi-fi randomly turn off?

My wi-fi works completely fine on the computer that my house shares but on my dell inspiron laptop and my ipad the wifi just randomly turns off. The wifi works if im doing simple things like going on my email but if i wanna play a game or skype with someone it just shuts off in middle. I also called up verizon and the problem was fixed for about 1 month but then it just came back.

Are foreigners really rude to Americans.or not?

I wanted to ask, because I didn't know if they're rude just because they hate us, or they're not used to how our culture works (you know what I mean by that).

Well, at school, one guy by the name of Carson came from a country over near Thailand, and he is a boy an age younger than me. While he has his foreign friends to hang out with, he's always doing stuff to me, such as stealing my writing utensils by asking to borrow them but not returning them (which I stopped giving him those things after 3 times), talking about me to his friends in his original language, touching my school iPad and nearly knocking it down on the floor (which I'll make sure he's forced to pay for any damage he makes if it's not my fault), giving me dirty looks, and cheating off my tests. I don't want to tell anyone, because like any student, he'll lie and try to get away with it.

At one point, I was about to tell him if he's rude to Americans, he shouldn't be living here, though I actually never told him that.

I don't mean to be offensive, but it is very irritating for foreigners to tease an American like they hate us. Like any other American, I do get angry to a rude person, and I'm the same way towards a foreigner.

So, are they really rude or… What?

Instagram won't let me log into my account both on my iPad and my phone (which is android). It isn't even opening on chrome or safari. It's saying that I should check my internet connection but other apps are working just fine. Help?

My IPad has a problem

I was in a call, held up my iPad, it fell out of it's case and BOOM. A huge crack through the middle of it.

This would've been fine, I've had bigger cracks, but I have a huge problem.

HALF OF THE SCREEN IS UNRESPONSIVE.

I've resorted to rotating the screen but this is getting tedious. My iPad is also 'haunted', as when texting it starts pressing random buttons like the spacebar and such. Many times I've seen it exit out of the app and go to Facetime.

I've tried restarting it. Any suggestions (Although I doubt there's a way to fix it)

My three earphones don't work on my iPad or laptop. They work fine on my brother's phone though.

So I had a lot of music on iTunes on my moms laptop, A few months ago I got an iPhone, and logged into my iTunes on it, and it showed only a few songs from my old iTunes library. A few weeks ago, I went onto the laptop to try to move my music to my phone and it showed all my music, I tried to play a song, and it said something like,"this file cannot be found". This ipad has been acting super wonky lately, with serious lag time between command and action. It wouldn't update the latest iOS update, and would always say "An error occurred while updating" if it could even get that far. I have restarted many times, and reset all settings a couple of times. How to know if you are hallucinating

I don't know how to tell if I'm hallucinating. As far as I know I've never hallucinated before (with the acception of sleep paralysis but that was just an audio hallucination. I keep seeing streaks of light in the corner of my eye. In fact, I'm seeing some right now in brief faded flashes. I'm in a dark room just looking at my iPad screen but even if this is just because of the screen staring my eyes or whatever, I've seen them before when it was bright and I was not using a screen.
Often in the dark I see darkness moving. Like darker shades of black figures (but not clear enough to definetly be people figures). They don't walk, they just stand and float when they move.

I don't a have a history of any mental illnesses but my aunt (a causin of my mother) has been diagnosed with schizophrenia. She's not close family but her hallucinations are quite intense from what I've heard.

Another thing to note is that as a child, I used to believe that this reality was just a virtual simulation but maybe that's normal for children, I don't know.

Any help is appreciated.

Did I get dumped for another girl?

My boyfriend of 2 years broke up with me two weeks ago. We both started university in September and he really started to change. We had been arguing quite a lot recently as he had really changed he wanted to hang out less with me and more with his friendship group. I believed him, he told me he was going to be hanging out with his friends over the Easter (who he sees every day as he lives with them) I then explained he hardly sees me and he just broke up with me. A week later I went onto my iPad and had seen he had left his Facebook on and it was wrong of me but I looked and saw all these messages from this girl he had been snapchatting. I rang him up and he denied everything how they were just friends but then he later admitted he had just caught feelings for this girl and he didn't have any feelings for her during our relationship only a few days after he broke up with me he did. Did hebreak up with me to try and get with this girl or was it because we had argue?

IPad video stops playing when I go onto another tab?

Whenever I use the Safari browser for my iPad, I like to go to YouTube (the website, not the app) and play a video to listen to while I do things in other tabs. Normally, the video keeps playing when I switch tabs, but it recently stopped doing that. Now whenever I switch tabs, the video stops playing.
This isn't the first time this has happened, either. I've had this issue a couple days ago, but then I did a system reset to fix a different problem, and that managed to fix the original problem, too. But now it's back.
Can someone give me some advice on how to fix this?

okay so i ve tried uninstalling the app reinstalling the app deleting all my photos for storage and i ve restarted my phone and updated it but it still isn't working. I want to move back!

I grew up normal-well kind of. I was that kid who everyone though was the most annoying kid in the world. It was the first day of preschool when I finally met someone. Before that in daycare and other things I was alone. Even the adults didn't give a **** about me. But on the first day of preschool, I met a kid. His name was chad. And from that day forward we were best friends. Nothing could end our relationship-or at least that was my initial thought. After 3rd grade ended, summer began. Since Chad was my only friend, I liked to spoil him and he did too. He was an only child. We went to california and I took him to Disneyland for the first time. We also went to universal studios and six flags magic mountain. When the trip ended though, Chad and I were in a huge fight. I forgot why but it was probably stupid. This is so cliche but I wished that I would ve never had to see him again. I spent the summer in hot hot hot Houston where my grandparents were. This was before I had a cell phone so I couldn t keep in touch with him. I had an IPad but I decided to ignore him anyway. But near the end of summer, I got a call from my parents. I remember this so vividly. Its like I'm staring at a painting. I can see every detail. I pick up the phone and it's just the usual like hey how s it going and I miss you. But then things took a toll for the worst. My mom asked me if I wanted to move to a new town. She did specify which town though so I knew where we were going.

I work 1 on 1 with a student as a teacher a aid, however I come up with my own curriculum and teach everything I make, I think its just so they do not have to pay a teachers salery.well every day for 7 hours straight my student on his iPad plays the same video clip of jack frost singing Mr ice Christmas, it never stops or changes… He used to use head phones but the port on the iPad broke. So going on 3 weeks now all day every day I hear this song and I feel like I am going to snap, if we take it away he harms himself, if we make it so he cannot listen to that song he harms himself, if as far as to strangle himself unconscious. The place I work has it so I cannot take it away indefinitely so no matter what i have to listen to it, don't they play songs over and over to force people to vacate a building, well its been 3 weeks of this song… It never ends:( its not even a good song… What can i do, quitting is not an option.

Okay, so I was cooking dinner and was using my ipad to follow a recipe. When I got into the swing of things and figured out my plan of action, I forgot about my ipad. It must've slipped into the sink and the bottom was submerged in shallow water. (just the bottom: speaker, charger). Luckily, I have insurance with my school. I took it in yo out IT guy and he's going to send it in to ththe insurance people. I'm honestly just wondering if they'll be able to fix my ipad or should i probably count on getting a new one and losing the content on mine?

also- there was a water like cloud under the screen when I checked on it this morning. Last night it was turning pale and then gray and kept blinking on and off. Ugh!

I'm 15 and all my teachers always say "take out your phones" to do a lot of tasks. Not everyone has a phone. I only have an iPad and I don't have data so I only have wifi at home. I feel they rely on technology too much.

How can i break my ipad?

ok so my school gave us the oldest ipads they could during freshman year, and they hardly worked then.I'm a junior now and it's super slow and blacks out all the time (plus it dies less than an hour after i unplug it) , but my school says "it works just fine." is there anything i can do to push it far enough that they can't fix it and will have to give me a new one?Also, i paid for insurance so either way, it costs them nothing and i'm not a freeloader. Other places to get iPad repaired besides Apple?

My iPad screen cracked, so I sent it to this guy that said he would repair technology on Craigslist or somewhere along those lines. When I got it back, the screen was badly replaced. It slides down so there's a gap at the top where there's no screen, the home button was cracked (and has since broke in half) and the screen also lifts on one side. I paid $160 for nothing really. I can't get a refund because I got it replaced awhile ago, I'm only seeing these things getting worse recently. I need to get it fixed. Especially the button since the other half is about to fall off as well, but I don't want to spend another $200 to replace the screen again. Where else can I get this fixed? I already called staples and they said I'd have to get it fixed at an Apple Store. Or am I just better off getting a new iPad? I really don't know what to do.

Neighbor issues and I just signed a 1 year lease with the owner of the unit

I just signed a lease for a condo w the owner. I get home around 10pm or so I'm NOT IN THE apt All DAy. As I walk in to settle make dinner and watch a movie on my ipad as quietly as possible with no real noise or disturbance to anyone.10 mins later I start hearing slamming doors. I ignored it at first, then I hear someone run up and started banging on my door ringing my door bell, pulling twisting on door knob (thank god I locked doors) I was very frightened I waited for this person to leave after about 3 min they left. Morning time I was walking to my car and saw a woman walking and she asked if it was me living in the unit I said yes, I asked her if she was the person who came to my door she said yes. We had a bit of a heated argument which then turned into talking and she started mentioning how she has lived there 20 years and she hates it when people move in to the unit I am in and how I should not get a tv or cook dinner or make any noise. I was dumbfounded and I told her I cannot live like I am restrained in my home and I am barely there and pay good money to live there. She lives on top floor I am very upset because I feel harassed and I don't feel like I can be me in my home and I have to worry every time I accidently drop a fork. She also said she has been having issues with every tenant that has rented my unit. I wish I could have the owner change the lease to 6 months since I had asked him about neighbors and he never said there were issues but clearly there were.

Is ipad Word app compatible with Microsoft on a computer?

When I export the document to a cloud Dropbox, when received on the computer it's all dark and basically doesn't work. How can I send a document to a computer, edit it, then return for use on ipad? IPad Mini Front/ Rear camera not working!

I replaced my iPad screen because it was badly cracked and the touchscreen was going crazy. I did it myself and in the process nothing I did had to do with touching anything near the camera. But now my front and rear cameras don't work. On snapchat, it says it's unable to access camera. And when I open the camera app it's a black screen when I switch the camera's on both sides. I can't touch the button to actually take the picture, it doesn't do anything when I press it like not even show the indent of you pressing it. What did I do wrong?

Things to do at a non girly sleepover?

One of my best friends is coming over today for a sleepover. I'm 13 and she's 12. We are both non girly as in no makeup or nails or makeovers or spa treatment or massages or gossiping. We go to different schools so we can't rlly gossip. She is obsessed with Pokemon (I don't rlly like Pokemon that much). Problems with my iPad?

Ok, so I have had my iPad Air for a long time maybe two years. It was working fine until the wifi didn't appear in the network connections. I typed the name in and it connected me to it. After an update, i had to sign in again for iMessages, but I use wifi to send the messages. I signed in and it didn't let me log in. It's said that I couldn't connect. And every few hour or two it would stop and I'd have to go to settings and type the wifi name to connect. So the wifi is not supposed to be doing it like that and since I need wifi to connect to iMessages, it doesn't let me because the wifi isn't properly connected. What should I do? I'm in middle school so store to fix it is out of the question and I can't tell my parents either. Help MEEE!

My printer is offline and I do t know why. It's a cannon Pixma mg2905s and it was working fine but now I can't print to it?

Best phone for an elderly lady?

Hi, I'm not sure what the best phone would be for an elderly Lady. Preferably not massively expensive, but if it is then it doesn't matter so long as she can use it. She's currently learning on her iPad and although she isn't perfect she gets confused between multiple operating systems. So I'm wondering whether iOS (iphones) is the way to go. How much could I get out of a iPad 2?

I'm thinking of getting a new iPad cause the one I have currently is getting a little slow and old obviously. It's April and I haven't updated to the latest because iPad 2's and under will no longer be able to update. It's it pretty good shape except I have a little crack on the left hand top of the screen because I dropped it accidentally. So where could I take this to see who much I could get out of and how much do you think I would be able to? Original price was $500, was bought brand new and had for 4 1/2 years.

Why are tablets less expensive than laptops

When comparing prices, tablets seem to be far cheaper. If you look for a computer under 150$ you are unlikely to find anything that is not a tablet. WHY? Then you build a tablet, you have to cram more hardware into smaller space. Is the keyboard so much more expensive? Just look at Apple products. Even the cheapest MacBook Air costs nearly as much as the top end iPad Pro. Why?
