What's a good utensil for a writer typing her stories?

I used to handwrite my stories but now I want to type them. The problem is my laptop is big and heavy and I need something else. I'm not sure what I should get. I've heard I should buy an iPad or a NetBook. I simply need something small and light and that I will be able to type on.
Please help.

Ipad, chrome book, mini hp?

My son is starting highschool and some people are suggesting ipads. They are cool but they don't seem as comprehensive as a laptop. I think a small laptop would be best, like the fact that the chromebook is new at $250, and havent heard anything bad about em either. I have a mini hp I was thinking about giving him but it is girly and a lil buggy. Any suggestions? Should I wait for school week to buy?

Hi. I am looking for an online writing job. I am 15 years old and really love writing but it is so hard to find legit online jobs that are not scam websites. I am trying to save up to get an ipad and i would love any help in finding a good online job because i currently am not allowed to get a job outside my house. Someone help IDK what to get!

So I have a pretty lame phone right now (meaning its rather slow, doesn't work well, constantly freezes, and have very little storage space/memory) So I'm looking to get something really nice that I can use for EVERYTHING!!! And I mean EVERYTHING!!! I go to a school where everything we do is online and email and calling and texting… however I've found that no matter the phone, the internet can be pretty slow… So I've done some asking around friends and family and a bit of research and everyone seems pretty stuck on the Iphone 5, the Galaxy 4S, the new Ipad, and the Galaxy tab 10.1.
What do you guys thing would be the best choice between the 4? I really need something that works great for: texting, calling, internet, and emailing.

How to tell the sifference between a iPad and a iPad mini using a picture?

My parents are giving me some sort of i Pad as a graduation gift. The only thing, they didnt have it on my graduation day! So they gave me a picture of it in a card and wrote arriving by… Blah blah… Love Mom and Dad.Im not sure if its an iPad though, or an iPad mini. I dont really want to ask because i dont want to sound spoiled.Is there any way to tell by looking at a picture?

Why won't my virtual drive of Texas show images on my ipad?

It allows me to log in and everything but it won't show the curriculum on my ipad, like the images of it? Is it because I need like adobe flash player or something like that?

IPad and Nexus 7 multiplyr games?

Hi

My daughter uses her iPod to play multiplayer games over bluetooth with her friend who uses an iPad.

Im considering getting my daughter a Google Nexus 7 to replace the iPod. Will the iPad and Nexus 7 be able to still play the same games over bluetooth?
