MacBook Air or iPad for college?

I am currently finishing high school, about to go to college in the fall.

I am facing a big decision as far as which device I should get. I am going to be doing a lot of web browsing and video watching for research (and maybe some fun stuff, haha), along with a TON of typing, spreadsheet-ing, and presenting. Maybe some video editing and vector graphics here and there.

So, 64GB MacBook Air 11, or 64GB iPad 4?

PS- if you recommend an iPad, please tell me what apps I can get to make it a mobile office like I would on the MacBook Air.

My ipad suddenly turned black.it works but i cant see the text and pictures.it can turn on and off, but i can't see the screen.it works, but the only problem is that i can't see what the screen says.its all black.

The fan-made flash apps are just slow and doesn't work properly at all

What is the twitter app that allows you to use icons with your tweets?

I often see it from people, who tweet from apple products such as the IPhone, IPod touch, and IPad. When they tweet, they had little icons to go with it, such as a smiley face, a heart.etc. I've looked for the twitter app that has this feature, but I can't find it. Does anyone know what it's called? Thanks!

Are there any screen recording applications for the iOS devices?

The iPod Touch by itself has a build in microphone, a camera and it can also record videos. You could even upload videos onto YouTube from it which makes it so it's actually the perfect device to do playthroughs on? The iPod Touch (4th or 5th generation), the iPhone or the iPad by themselves would easily be able to record game play if there was just an application for it.Is there one in the iTunes store that doesn't require jail breaking? There are so many games on it that I could record gameplay for and then upload if there was an application for it. If there isn't one, will they ever release one within the next year?

Well Im a city kid going to a suburban private high school.im a freshman. I hate it but I have to go there because the city public school suck.im sick of al the stuck up snobby spoiled rich judgemntal racist suburban kids. They always tel me "your neighborhoods scary.its ghetto" when like no its not its actually one of the nicer city neighborhoods.its not like good like suburban neighborhoods but its alright, its safe.and my one friend said hes scared of it cuz of black ppl.hes racist! and besides proly like 60% of my neighborhoods white and i love having diversity.thats another thing the school is too white i hate being surrounded by white ppl all day cuz omg.my best friend who goes there is black.and theyr all so spoiled almost everyone has an iphone(not me) and some have an iphone and their own ipad they bring to school and some have fancy iphones and theyr own laptop, some touch screened.its ridiculus.

Is it possible to spy someone through an iPad?

I feel like I'm being spied on. I talk to this guy and he talks to me thru his iPad and well this one time I messeged him "hey" and he didn't reply for like 10 minutes so I was like (to myself) "why isn't he responding anymore… god I hope he replies" and then at that moment he replies.

Also at random times, he just messeges me out of no where he puts "Your sooooo pretty" or he just puts a smiley face :) like all random.

Am I just being paranoid???

IPad Mini, the Nook or Kindle Fire. Which one?

I'm not sure if I want to purchase ipad mini, nook or kindle fire. I want to use it for school when I go to school so I'm not carrying my big ipad with me and use that mainly for home. If I did plan on ipad mini, I would wait until retina display is put in. (Please no mean comments or rude jokes, I really would like to know which one to buy). Thanks.

What parts do i need to get my iPad 2 to work?

Umm. Well. Theres no touchscreen glass, idk what a digitizer is, I have the lcd for it and i installed a new charging port, ALSO the home button along with the board is missing lol umm when i connect the lcd to the iPad, and plug it into a wall it dont work.i threw my iPad in the floor twice, but the lcd is not cracked it has a chip inda corner though.So to make my iPad work again what parts would i need exactly in what order? Thanks :(

How to cope with pain of long distance relationship?

First off, if you're going to tell me to just break it off then please don't waste your time, thanks.
Anyway, my boyfriend and I just had our one year anniversary, we were together nearly every day for about 7 months and the rest I've been living in a different city because I attend university now. I visited frequently the first semester of school and never really felt the pain of not having him close. Now, I know I won't be able to visit much and I've been feeling extremely depressed.
Yes we text each other frequently, talk on the phone each day, and use FaceTime on our iPod/Ipad at night.
I usually just distract myself to deal with and and try onto think about it, but even that hasn't been working lately
We plan to get married after I finish my studies, so yes we have plans for our future in place, but for at least 3 years either of us moving to follow the other is impossible.
I know this is kind of tough to answer, if you take it seriously, but I really don't want to bother anyone I know with my problems, I'm not very open with my feelings with anyone, and this is my first time asking anything personal online. Thanks for any of your guys' help!

How to use tokens to buy songs on Smule Glee?

This is probably the stupidest question you will ever come across… but seriously, I only have 1 song and that is Twinkle Twinkle Little Star (other than A Cappella and iTunes). I just downloaded the game Glee on iPad (by Smule). I really like the app but I don't know how to buy more games!!!

Yes, I click the little yellow eighth note in a purple circle in the turquoise folded ribbon shape that says in bold white words "BUY". But say I want to by Teenage Dream or Hey Soul Sister. I press that button, and it loads a little while and says "Would you like to buy ___ for $0.99" or something like that. What would the tokens (the little yellow eighth note in a purple circle) be for than? If you can buy music with it, how do you buy music with it? Can you even buy music with it? I know you buy music with money, I know. If that's the only way, then what are the tokens for? Thanks so much!

Also, might as well just ask this: What are starbursts FOR? I know what they are, but I don't exactly know what they are for. Are they just for new world records or what?
