Is there any way that you can use java on an ipad?
Added (1). I find that I often want to use things on the internet that require java, but i don't have a laptop; only an iPad. Is there any way I can get java or something similar for my iPad?

Should I get a new laptop or an iPad for college?

I currently have a Sony Vaio laptop that I have had for a little over a year. The computer still works but I'm worried that with college classes, the computer won't last until May. So I was thinking about getting a cheap laptop.

I cannot afford anything real expensive since I do not receive that much financial aid.

I will only use the laptop for school. I don't play video games or anything like that. I just need something with internet, a word processor, and the occasional iTunes.

My question is should I get a cheap laptop (they have an HP at Walmart for $299) or should I try and get an iPad (I could only get a 16gb unless I could find one on sale). Is an iPad a good product to get instead of a laptop (I would get a laptop my next semester)? I have never had a tablet before. Can an iPad do everything a laptop can? Will it have Microsoft Office (I have a disc of Microsoft office here with a code)?

Electronic for college?

So I am going to college soon and everyone I know going to college has a laptop to take with them. I am only commuting so I am looking for something that I can just use while I am at the school. I am only going to be on campus when I am in class and then I can use my computer at home. So I only need something small with internet and Microsoft word. What do you think is my best bet? It could be an iPad (idk if it has word) or a tablet. Please help

We have to make a 5 minute video for our Volunteer Ambulance team. I would like to incorporate video that we film as well as photos. Will be filming on iphone and editing on either an ipad or imac. How to restore your iPad?

I've forgotten the passcode on my iPad. Every time I try to restore it, it says 'to allow access, please respond on your iPad'. So I tried putting it in recovery mode and it STILL pops up with that same message after 10 minutes! Help!
