My iPad is making a static noise?

When I play a video from my camera roll i can't hear any sound but a static noise. I can watch YouTube videos but when I record a video and watch it I can't hear any sound except static, so what's wrong?

Why is Apple trying to get us buying their products?

I have been an Apple user for since the iPhone was released and back when Steve Jobs was alive, he was a true business man. Made quality products for a good, fair price but now, Apple said it's okay that their new iPad Pro should be bent fresh out the box. And also, now Apple is making money out of their products by paying $1100 on a phone with specs that Samsung and Google did 5 years ago. If they continue like this, it might lead the company on bankruptcy. I still have my 2011 MacBook Pro and an iPhone 6s Plus and I started to notice that they were so slow, and it was the old battery and I have to go to the Apple store to pay the replacement. I switched to Android and it was smooth. I still have my 2011 MacBook Pro and will keep it.

Why the hell should bedrooms have jam locks?

I moved into my new single room accommodation yesterday and when i had a shower this morning, i didn't realise that i have locked myself outside with the phone, iPad, bag, clothes etc left inside the room. But I've been to the internet cafe to chase things up and find a phone to use for my contacts that are synced on google.

I used to think only front doors of the house and hotel rooms have jam lock. Why would somebody living in a private house wanna carry their keys around.

I don't know what to do anymore?

I'm 39 weeks pregnant and I'm the only one working. My body is so weak and I come home to cook and clean and it's just sooo exhausting. I deal with my toddler everyday after work and only get 2 damn hours of sleep and sometimes I don't get any at all! My boyfriend is a stay at home dad but he doesn't do **** but play fort nite or black ops all day everyday and I can't afford not to miss a day of work knowing I'm the only one paying bills. He won't even try to look for a job and I'm just so emotionally and physically drained. I don't know what to do because talking to him about this causes an argument and I don't want to be stressed, depressed and frustrated all the time. I'm just sick and tired of dating a 24 year old that doesn't do **** but play games, raises the bill, and puts an iPad in their child's face so they don't have to deal with them while playing a damn game. You guys will probably say leave him and etc but it's really hard. Cos he treats me good, but he's just not supportive of my mental and physical health or whatever. I just don't know what to do anymore…

How can I make my foster son understand that he doesn't get as much as my real daughter?

I'm currently saving for an iPad for my daughter, and if I save expenses like getting him cheaper items from menus and such I can then put that money towards the iPad. And since she's my actual daughter, I don't see anything unreasonable with prioritizing her first. How can I make him understand this? Because he always seems to feel that he deserves as much as she does.

I have an iPad 2 (from 2011 I think) is it ok to use?

I've been using it for about 3 years since I got it refurbished and it still works well. The only thing wrong with it is about 10 months ago I dropped it and the corn screen cracked and shattered (only about 2 inches though). It is on iOS 9 I think and is fairly fast and the battery lasts decent. It's from 2011 though so it's like 8 years old (it is not a iPad Air 2) it's the iPad after the original iPad. Is it ok to keep using I feel it's outdated and might catch fire while charging or something?

Spanish is my first language. My little sister and i were talking to each other. In Spanish. My step mom got mad, took my sisters ipad away and yelled at her. Last week she wanted to speak with me privately. She literally went on a 20 minute lecture on how she feels left out, and how disrespectful it is to speak a different language in front of other people. I just laughed and told her to learn spanish… I say if i learned English, you can learn Spanish. I dunno. I just don't want my little sister to be ashamed of her language. I don't see how it is "disrespectful". My dad speaks Spanish as well but he doesn't really confront her about it, and i honestly wish he would cause this isn't okay with me?

Best 15 2 in 1 laptop?

I currently have an ASUS Model: FZ50V. The laptop is really hevay and can't tak it with me to school or other places.
I'm a university student. I use microsoft office 10 during school. Sometimes youtube and netflix. During breaks i play videogames such as minecraft or sims 4. The boring stuff xD lol not often. I'm planning on using adobe photoshop and adobe premiere pro cc. I want a laptop like i currently have. This laptop does not heat up and the fan does not sound too loud when i'm doing hard work or gaming. The reason why i want a 2 in 1 laptop is because i have an ipad and i use an ipad pro 9.7 for drawing, editing, some artistic not artistic stuff. I'm planing on giving the ipad to my mom since she has an ipad from 2011 and is really slow because its old lol. I do and do not mind the price, depends if its a really good laptop. Also this is important. I DO NOT WANT APPLE. I have been with apple since 2010 and i just want to try another good brand. And yes it has to be 15" because i work better with bigger screen. Why? Do not know xD but i work better.
if there's not a laptop that can do all this stuff, then i would have to take gaming out.

How to install iOs12 to an iPad Air 2 without using iTunes on a computer?

I don't own a computer of any kind. Just an iPhone 5s and a iPad Air 2.
I keep getting errors anytime I try to install iOS12. And also, I seem to have no room left on my ipad… Even though I wiped everything off of it… The system itself takes up 6 out of 12 GB.

I have an ipad mini model a1432 (pretty sure it's Ipad 1 or something). I got it for Christmas 4 years ago and I'm thinking of selling it for money to get a new bike (for transportation purposes. I live in the city to commute because the train so so godaweful slow). I really don't use IPad. I don't hate it or Apple, but I'm not used to the UI and the marketplace and functionality is so "limited" compared to Android. Plus, I use Android more than Apple because of the reasons stated. However, I have been thinking of selling it to Gamestop, only because I'm desperate for the money (I tried to buy a bike, but it didn't go well because UPS screwed up my delivery and the seller didn't even attempt to fix anything and now I have to wait for a month for my refund and I need the bike NOW! It's been a month and I can't spend anymore money on transportation). I need advice. I heard it's not worth it selling it to Best Buy or Gamestop, but on Ebay, it takes forever to get a Buy Now. Hello! So I've really been wanting an iPad for Christmas and you might think "oh just ask your parents for one!" If I do my siblings will all laugh at me saying "haha that's funny those are way too expensive." My family isn't poor either. I want one more than anything right now. So ok, I'm 11 years old and I'm looking for help! I break a few rules in my house. I keep watching Youtube when I shouldn't. I keep neglecting my chores. Well of course I do play games like Fortnite. I'm so far behind in classes too. (I'm in 6th grade) I'm right now writing this on my iPad because my computer isn't working properly.

Struggling with partner and his children?

I'd like some advice, and to see if anyone's ever been in the same situation.

Firstly, I don't have children.

I've been dating a man for 14 months, met his 2 children after 7 months.
It's still a very part time relationship, as in I go over there 3/4 times a week and only see his kids once or twice per week. (He has them for 4 days/nights per week)

I love him to pieces… But the way he has brought is children up is completely different to the way I would have brought mine up (if I wanted any)?

They NEVER say please or thank you. To me, if you can only teach a child one thing ever, you teach them manners.

Also, they spend every second of the day on some sort of electronic device. They're 5 and 8. They've both got iPods, iPad, iPhone, computer consoles. And they are GLUED to them 24\7.

And if you tell them their not allowed their devices as we're going out, they sulk for the WHOLE day, until they can finally run back through the front door and pick them up. That's all they've known since they were born, I believe they were given them to shut them up as babies.

He doesn't discipline them. He buys them everything and anything that they want. They don't play like children should do with toys or making things or Lego or anything you can imagine, they just sit like aliens.

Do you think I should end it? Obviously I can't tell him how to parent his own children. But I love him. I don't know whether I need to relax and just stick it out? Help

I was on my iPad and I needed a charger so I just had the need to whisper to my mom, " if I meet that god damn child outside I'm gonna be pissed" and as I was waking out of my room I saw my uncle carrying him and he was right oudside the door and I think he heard me

How to get messages sent to cellular data number on iPad?

My son has an iPad with data. I understand that it doesn't have a "phone number" but it does has a "cellular data number" that the person at the Sprint store told us about when we bought it. We have a few apps that require a phone number, and when we put this number in, it says that a message has been sent to this number. But how do I get this message? Where does it go? I was hoping an alert would pop up but nothing did. In the iPad settings it only lists the Apple ID under where I can receive messages from, not the number (and when I try to add the number, again it says they need to send a verification to the number that I can't access).

Gaming pc build problem?

I just have finished building my new gaming pc with an msi b350 motherboard, Amd ryzen 5 1600x, Gskill ddr4 series 3200 MHz ram, msi Radeon armour 8gb graphics card, EVGA - B3 650W 80+ Bronze Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power supply. The first time i set it up everything was ok and it showed my cpu and ram. But now it onl shows the message "Devices changed ( cpu or memory) or cmos have been cleared. Please enter setup to configure your system."
Press f1 to run setup
Press f2 to load default values and continue.
When i pres f1 or f2 nothing happens?
Am using a wireless Bluetooth i have tested it with my iPad and it works fine.

Could it be the keyboard not connecting properly coz it's Bluetooth and i haven't set it up or am i looking at bigger problem. I need to know wats wrong so that i can return any items if they are faulty as i bought everything new.

Especially when I was younger I would go on my iPad to look up 'free movies' and usually I would have no luck, I forgot why, it's been so long, but usually you would have to sign up or it was just confusing. Am I right to be worried about this drawing my daughter made?

My 8 year old daughter takes her iPad to school, and when I checked the camera roll this evening I found a rather distrusting drawing. I asked her if she drew it and she said yes. I asked her, "What is it?" And she told me it was "a dog face" wearing a top hat… I highly doubt this, do I asked, "Why are it's eyes brown, and why are it's eyes red?" About a month ago, I bought an ipad to have sessions with a life coaching client. It was his suggestion that we should do facetime.

Whenever i talk to him on facetime, hes always complaining about me having a bad connection but i can see and hear him clearly. He says its definitely not his and i believe him. He believes that i'm using dial-up when I actually have wifi.

Where do I go to help my parents?

My mother has been unwell with various ailments for the past 4 years. She spends all day every day laying on the bed. She visits the doctor at least 2 to 3 times per week and he has no answers for her.
My problem is she is completely unreasonable and demands that Dad sit on the bed next to her all day every day. His mental health is slowly erroding as he's bored silly. He spends all his time on his iPad to keep himself entertained. The minute he goes outside to do something she gets angry with him and says he's not looking after her.
We're at our wits end with her and no matter how much we try to talk to her and tell her that its completely unreasonable to expect Dad to sit on the bed all day she won't listen. She tells us its his duty.
I'm not sure where or who to turn to for advice.

My Apple iPad Pro has been a little crazy lately?

I just had IOS installed overnight today. Now, Siri will randomly activate, a lot of times, and while I'm on YouTube, it will pause my videos and restart them and stuff. Then my music will randomly play, stopping and starting randomly, speeding up, and skipping and things like that. This is really annoying and I really need this fixed. I already turned off Siri in the settings, but it still comes up randomly and asks me to install Siri. I would close my apps and stuff but is there an easy fix to this? Any help will be appreciated!

What to do with daughter?

My daughter is acting like a spoiled brat and I don't know what to do anymore. She's 11 yrs old. Her father and I try to provide everything that we can for her but she's so unthankful. We tried talking to her nicely, for example, we ask her nicely to wash the dishes you know because in this family everyone has to contribute to something. We also ask her nicely to clean her room but she never listens. Her room is always dirty. I tried taking her Ipad away and that's not working because she has her school Ipad.

I tried taking her school Ipad but she says she needs it for school to do homework. This is why I never wanted her to get the school Ipad but her teacher insisted she needs it for assignments. When her father and I need to run errands, she ALWAYS makes a fit. For example, she refuses to do her hair. She wants ME to do her hair. When I was that age, I remember doing my hair and that's how I learned by practicing. But my daughter wants me to do everything for her. When my husband and I needed to go out to run some errands, she literally walked out bare feet?! I don't understand this behavior. We refuse to live her alone because State Law says you can't leave children home alone younger than 14. However, her father and I have responsibilities to do and her behavior is impeding us to do those responsibilities.

I have also disconnected the internet from allowing her to use the internet by using her school Ipad, but somehow she finds a way. I need help? Any advice?

What I meant by "she literally walked out bare feet" was, her father and I were getting ready to leave the house along with her but instead of being a good girl and getting ready by putting on her shoes, she walked out from the house without shoes. To me, she did that on purpose because she was rebelling and wanted us (her father and I) to get mad.
Added (2). Believe me, we tried spanking her too. She kept crying that she was going to sue me for hitting her. We only spank her in the but, and she tries threatening us that she will call the police for abuse. First of all, i'm spanking her in the but. NEVER have I ever hit her super hard and left her bruises. I just want her to learn that in this world we all have responsibilities and we need to do them. And that she needs to respect her parents.

New ipad pro not working right?

I got an Ipad pro a couple weeks ago, and today its started acting out.
Randomly the buttons will stop working, the screen works fine but the buttons just don't respond.
After about a minute a loading sign on the screen will appear, then tell me to put in my password to unlock the ipad. Then the buttons work fine again.
This has happened 4 times in 1 day, and its the first day its happened.
What's going on, should I be worried? I spend a lot of money on this thing.

Why isn't the multitasking on my iPad working?

Usually, when I wanted to use multitasking on my iPad, I would swipe up from the bottom of the screen and then I would select an app from the dock and drag it to the right side of the screen. Then I would either make it split screen or I would make it a tab that I could hide. For some reason it won't work. I can drag the apps from the dock but I can't make them split screen or tabs.

Why won't they leave me alone?

At lunchtime in school I'm minding my own business on my iPad, but these annoying little kids keep coming up and saying "What are you doing?" while attempting to turn my iPad around. Why won't my iPad air charge or turn on?

Hey! So i got the ipad air a few years ago when it came out and it was a great device, i honestly had no real problems with it until a couple years went by and it would only let one specific charger charge it, and it would take FOREVER for it to charge! Maybe up to 8 hours just to charge it fully. It was ridiculous. But i dealt with it because i liked my ipad obviously. But then that charger got broken and i couldn't use it anymore, i bought like 4 different apple chargers to see if it would charge and it wouldn't. It won't even turn on and i left it on the charger for long periods of time. And it just sucks. I haven't touched my ipad in probably 3ish or 4ish years now and i found it a few minutes ago and wanted to use it and am trying to charge it but it still won't turn on. Should i just take it to the apple store? Or is there something i could do to fix it myself? Sorry i'm kinda bad at explaining things but that's basically my issue lol.

Why don't Apple just add any chip to iPhone, MacBook, iPad what would make non original or non Apple spare parts useless?

for example if you buy non apple iphone screen replacement, iphone would not just detect new screen cuse it has that chip on logicboard.

also chip may built into cpy die itself, so it can't be removed by just soldering it just from board

Do I need another computer if I get an iPad?

I currently have a Microsoft Surface 3 (non-pro). It's alright, but does have a few bugs from time to time. So I often wonder if going iPad instead would be better due to their reputation for fewer bugs once my Surface finally gives out.

I do understand I would have to give up using my external CD/DVD/Blu-ray drive and USB connected printer. But I don't use disc programs and media as much as I used to, and the printer is old so may need to be replaced some day too.

Still, I don't want to buy both a tablet and a computer. I like how the Surface has served me as a "tablet that can replace a laptop". I guess my question is if an iPad would be able to replace a laptop as well.

I mainly do research, and all my info I research is now on-line, hence I no longer need, necessarily, the disc programs I've been using.

I also use Microsoft Office and OneDrive a lot. I understand that those will work on an iPad, but are they just as good on an iPad? I also compose a lot of other documents in other languages and am used to the keyboard shortcuts that type in foreign characters on the document. How good is iPad in that area? And if I have problems with my iPad, would I be expected to connect it to a computer to fix it?

Would I be best getting an iPad or sticking with the Windows based operating system on a tablet?

Hi, so I don't really have a whole lot of knowledge when it comes to WiFi but I recently moved into a house with students and the WiFi is pretty appalling, I did a speed test and it came up with 1.09 Mbps download speed and 0.39 Mbps upload speed and the latency is 129ms if that's something too. I'm this is really slow but my main question is this. I'm wanting to use WiFi to play games on both my laptop and iPad without any lag or WiFi issues. Is there any type of wireless WiFi router or booster than I could keep in my room just to use myself which doesn't cost a huge amount and can be used for both devices, I do appreciate any replies on this and I'm from the uk

I resently noticed on Amazon it says iPads have California's Proposition 65 what's in them that puts them on that list?

In case you didn't know California's proposition 65 is a list of chemicals that are carcinogens or cause birth defects. I've had iPads since I was young and phones that now I know have cancer causing things in them? What chemicals are in them that puts them on this list? Thanks in advance. Hi! So today I have this really sweet English teacher and I'm worried that think she suspects something about my past eating disorder?
I had anorexia last year, and I'm still trying to recover and have a lot of trouble gaining weight and with the concept of being heavier. Because of this, I always have a tab open for calorie counting on my iPad (to make sure I have enough). Anyway, the other day I had a question about one of our assignments because I wasn't sure which webpage to go to, so she just said 'o here, let me-" and she pulled it up for me but she kinda got quiet afterwards and didn't really say anything (which is unusual because she's normally very chatty).
I also frequently wear a lot of baggy clothing, don't speak much in her class, look down a lot, and tap my foot quite a bit (bc I can't help myself eating makes me so anxious and I have her class shortly before lunch).
Anyway, I was just wondering if you think she's noticed anything weird about me/would think any differently about me after seeing that tab open on my iPad.
I don't have anorexia anymore, but I'm worried that she thinks I do? Thanks~

How do I destroy my sister s iPad Pro without anyone knowing I did so?

So my sister has this iPad Pro, and all she does is play the Worst music, and draws furry cringe on it. I've been thinking of just ending it. Me and my sister live with our parents so I need to do it so that she can't fix it, and also can't know it was me who broke it. Would setting the date to January 1st 1970 work? I was going to get the iPad Pro 12.9! But now I know there's a new iPad Pro coming out. I don't know what to choose. No home button (maybe) no headphone jack. And a bunch of other stuff. Can some digital screens cause more fatigue than others?

I originally used an iPad for some years but also for the same period suffered severe mental fatigue, which even got to the point of seeing my doctor and trying antidepressants. I was unable to make a link between the two until I eventually replaced it with a Surface Pro 3 (for drawing) and immediately felt the feeling lift.

It was as if there was something in the light from the iPad which was wasn't the case with the Surface which made my mind foggy and nauseous, as if I've been looking into a lamp for too long. While I used the iPad I had tried screen filters and reducing the light to its absolute minimum, which had no noticeable effect.

I have also constantly used computer screens at work and at home every day, though these seemed to be okay.

I'd like to think it's something as simple as the difference between LCD and LED screens, though it seems complicated as LCD screens apparently also use LED backlight. There also seems to be the issue of screen flicker speed. Does anyone have a simple technical explanation of what might be making the difference?

Old, long deleted video randomly appears on iPhone?

I have an iPhone 5c, will limited storage and as a result, I have a very low number of photos/videos on my device at all time. Therefore, I know just about every photo I have on my phone… And just a few minutes ago, I open my camera roll and I notice a video towards the bottom or "most recent" part of my camera roll, that is somehow dated June 26, and was a funny video I vaguely remember taking, but deleting shortly after… I'm POSITIVE this has not been in my camera roll all this time, especially since it appears with my recent photos (appearing more recent than some screenshots I took just today.) I think its possible that this video was even taken with a different device (iPad mini 1st gen) but i'm not sure. Regardless, I have NO idea how this just appeared. This has never happened before. If anyone can tell me what's going on, that'd be great. Thanks.

IPad Pro 12.9 vs 10.5?

What would you use the different sizes for? I'm having trouble picking a size and I want to get something that I won't regret buying. I'm mainly buying a iPad Pro for a laptop replacement for college. And I'm using it for work also. For college I'll be using it as a textbook, notes, and whatever comes along the way. For work I do a lot of spreadsheets and tracking. And of course for some entertainment purposes ( Netflix, YouTube, etc…) Thank you!

Where can you buy a replacement screen protector for an iPad protective case?

I got an old case to protect an Ipad 4, and both have held up reasonably well over the years. The only problem is the plastic screen attached to the protective case is scratched, dirty, and needs replaced, so I bought a new case, only this case didn't have a protective screen over it to protect the iPad, meaning you can touch the iPad directly. This isn't good, since the screen can be accidentally cracked or damaged, so if possible I would like a replacement for the physical barrier between the iPad and the screen itself.

Also, while I know this is a little confusing, what is the name of the physical plastic barrier that s on the protective case? I keep calling it a screen protector, but I don't think that s the correct word for it. Also, while a screen protector did come with it, it was the kind you stick on the iPad itself, rather than the kind that is attached to the protective case. Thought of using it to apply to the black bezel, but then realized that the back would be sticky on one side, and not just on the edges, so that is clearly out of the question.

Is 25 mbps speed good for a couple?

I prefer an answer from someone who has experience with having just 25 mbps internet speed. Me and my boyfriend will be getting an apartment and need to choose internet. At most, at the same time, I could be streaming on Netflix while he's playing videos games and I'm doing homework on the computer and the same time. Other than that just general phone usage and streaming tv with maybe one of us doing homework on the iPad. Can 25 handle that without, let's say, making my boyfriend lose a game cuz the internet is lagging lmao.

I have installed Ourpact again, but this is different to a few years ago. I can set a time when her apps will be available (e.g. 4pm) but I can't set an allowance time (e.g. 2 hours) without now paying more.

Can the police press charges against me because of my 12 year old daughter's online activity?

The police think my daughter put herself in danger on social media. I'm not that tech savvy. They ask me questions that I have no answer to. My child is not in danger, she's right at home and goes to school everyday. I do not think there's a problem with her. I still have work and managing the household to do, but the police are treating this as a massive issue (although it might just be a minor issue). I limit the amount of time she's on the iPad or computer, but I've never looked into the activity. She just plays games on it and goes on those apps. I really don't want this to be a big hassle, to the point where a lawyer or court is involved.

How can I solve this issue with Netflix?

My sister just got a new Netflix account and my mom wants to use it on her iPad, but when she opens the app all there's is this "Who's watching?" screen and an "Add profile" button. When she tries to create a profile and clicks on "Save" it just goes back to the "Who's watching?" screen without any new profiles. I'm moving into a 1 bedroom apartment. PSE&G help me set up an internet/wifi install next week. I'm a Xbox one gamer and I also use my iPad a lot when relaxing at home. My current home we have 100/100 for us 3 but I'm sure I use most of that due to the online gaming (which I have some days I don't play and others I'll be on for 3-4 hours or even 6-8 hours). I'm just wondering if the 100/100 is worth it to still give me the same speed and connection? Caught my young son stealing. How do I handle it?

I have a 9.5 year old boy who is in year 4. He is a bit of a cheeky boy who likes to be the class clown which usually gets him into trouble but today I found out he stole a Ooshie from another student, wrapped it up and gave it to his best friend as a gift. The mother of the his friend will be returning it to us so my son can take it back to class and give it to the student who owns it (BTW is very upset it was taken) but I want to know how to handle this and ensure it doesn't happen again. I want to sell my less than 2 year old Ipad Mini 4 with 16gb for 150 dollars. Is this price too much? It does have the original battery so I'm not sure.

Bluetooth scanner makes Ipad keyboard stop working?

I bought a bluetooth barcode scanner for my Ipad. However, whenever the scanner is connected the touchscreen keyboard won't work. I need to get both working at the same time. Can anyone help please?

Grandma wants a new computer?

She has a HP tower that is probably 6 years old, she uses it maybe 5 minutes a week. She loves her Ipad and uses it all day. She wants a computer to put all her "stuff on" whatever that means. I'm assuming just as a back up for pictures.

She has the screen and keyboard and all that, just wants a new computer. All I see her doing on it would be browsing facebook, googling stuff, and maybe watching a few youtube videos. I've only used laptops for the last ten years so advice on what to buy would be great. The cheaper the better, but not really on a budget. Under 300 maybe? I don't know what they go for these days

Added (2). I don't think she needs one, she thinks she needs one. Her old one takes a minute to boot up but it still works. Trying to explain to an old person that they don't need something that they think they do is not easy
