How can I solve this issue with Netflix?

My sister just got a new Netflix account and my mom wants to use it on her iPad, but when she opens the app all there's is this "Who's watching?" screen and an "Add profile" button. When she tries to create a profile and clicks on "Save" it just goes back to the "Who's watching?" screen without any new profiles. We tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app and it didn't fix it. Has anyone else experienced this issue and can someone tell me how to solve it?
