What should I get for university?

I am looking for a laptop and a tablet for university where I'm studying engineering. Performance and portability is important. I was thinking of getting an average laptop and also a tablet that I can take to university with me. Which should I get?

Okay, so today in art I sat next to a guy that my friend likes (because we have assigned seats) and my friend sits across from him. There are three guys in our art class total.

So at one point the guy "A" that I'm sitting next to, shows me some pictures on his iPad. This reminds me of how another guy in our art class "B" took pictures of like all of the girls in our class.

I told my friend that looking at these photos reminded me how B took all these photos of the girls. She misinterpreted it and asked to delete all the photos that B had taken of her on his iPad. After denying he had photos, A was like 'who told?' And she didn't tell him but when I explained what I meant she was like 'Oops false alarm!" He wouldn't get off the topic and said gtg like five minutes later.

I'm friends with A, and now I'm afraid that he's going to assume it was me who told her (which is true but she misunderstood what I said) and never talk to me again. He's best friends with the guy that I like, so I'm also afraid that he's going to tell my crush what a creep I am or something. He only showed those photos to me.

Seriously. I'm really nervous now.

Am I correct? I'm asking because unwanted to buy an ipad 3 'the new ipad' but I can not find anywhere that sells it, I've looked on amazon, tesco, Argos, currys/pc world. Yet none of these places sell 'the new ipad' only the ipad mini, retina display and 2nd gen… So are the new ipad and retina display both same? If not why can't I buy the 3rd gen anywhere! Dear all, I have click a email that was send by PayPal and click the link that is in the email. Therefore, I'm wondering if my ipad 3 can get any malware or virus because of this? If yes, I would appreciate if you can provide step by step on how to remove it.

In addition, when see the email it says its sent from paypal but when I click "sent from", it shows my email address. I did not sent a email to myself and pretend I'm from PayPal.In this case was my email hacked?

Excellent wifi signal but very slow?

Hello there,

The problem started a few days back.My laptop suddenly stopped opening browsers, saying that it could not connect to the internet despite an excellent connection and despite the ipad being able to connect. I was told that it was probably a virus and Norton would not open, so I decided to reset to factory condition.

The laptop can now open browsers and surf the Web, but it can take up to 10 minutes for a page to load with excellent signal strength. I use Orange wireless broadband and can't see a way to reset it.
Added (1). Aye, it's 54mb but it has always been stable. Opening web pages has never taken 10 mins before. :(
