Why are minorities so unappreciative for the free education they receive?

First of all, let me start out by saying that this isn't generalizing ALL minorities.

However, societal views show that MOST minorities have no WILL to excel. They have no initiative to take advantage of free education that taxes pay for.

Of course, some will claim some schools are more advantaged than others. But isn't ultimate learning the responsibility of the student? So why does it matter if a student gets a textbook or an e-textbook on an iPad?

Ipad troubles, Nightmare?

So I was looking into investing in a tablet, and since I'm a fan of apple I though why not an iPad? Since I just had to try and save a few bucks I decided to check other websites to see if I could get a decent device at a reasonable price (used). Big mistake. I spent almost 300$ on a used iPad 2 from ebay, with cases and a few colored cords (the works) seemed like a good deal at the time but once my iPad came I opened the box to find everything I expecting only and locked iPad 2. Thats right, seems as though somebody didnt bother to restore the iPad before they sold it.So now I am stuck with an iPad that says "connect to Itunes" with a very girly picture of a teenager and what I assume to be her friend… Iv tried connecting it to my computer just to see what would happen and i get the "iPad is locked cannot connect to itunes" and iv also tried getting my money back from eBay by sending the useless iPad back to who I bought it from, but since everything was in the package that was supposed to be, im pretty much out of luck. WHAT DO I DO?

My Apple charger broke for my iPad yesterday so last night I went to Walgreens to get a new one and now it won't work! Where do you get a Apple charger at or is that normal for my iPad to do this?

I am going on vacation and I will be on a plane for 5 hours. I have an iPad mini and and iPod. I am 11 years old, so what could I do instead of playing on electronics and sleeping?

Will apple replace my ipad with a fresh or refurbished one?

Ok so i got an ipad4, went home and realized the screen had 3 horizontal lines on it, i first thought the lines were on the screen cover and ignored it at the shop. I went to replace it at the service center on the next day and they said they would replace it in 2-4 days. I just wanna know that will apple replace it with a fresh ipad or just a second hand reassembled/refurbished one.It would be kinda heart breaking if they give me a refurbished one coz i just bought this expensive ipad and it was faulty out of the box, didn't even use it properly yet.

What is the game on the iPad.?

What's the game on the iPad where there are seven/eight hints that you're trying to figure out the words to? On the bottom of the screen there are groups of letters to be used. Also, are there any online games not for iPad that are similar?
Added (1). It's just a list of eight or so hints…

ie: Port-au-Prince is the capital here (5 letters) - Haiti

but the answer Haiti and all of the other answers are mixed up in 2-3 letter combinations at the bottom of the screen.

IPad mini or Microsoft surface?

I'm a student and I do photography and game making and I need to pick between them I need good battery and a sturdy body and enough processing power to run things like unity with ease… I listen to alot of music and watch YouTube heaps also did I mention I NEED GOOD BATTERY haha :) thanks everyone

The sound on some games isn't working but YouTube works ok
