Grounded for ditching school?

So I ditched school for 1 day and my mum found out. As soon as I got home my mum smashed my phone, computer, wifi, tv and my Ipad. I'm grounded for 3 months and i'm not allowed to see any of my friends and she even contacted my friends to tell them that i don't want to be friends with them and making out that she s me. I do want to be friends with them but she s told them I don't. Do you think this is a bad punishment? I also brought all my things with my own money
Added (1). Also when I get paid from my part-time job she takes my money and buys things for herself

Will I look poor/be ridiculed if I get a flip phone?

So I have an iPad mini rn and it's going out I've been mocked by one kid bc I don't have a phone but my dad is thinking about getting me a "suitable phone" for Christmas and it might be a flip phone he says and I'm afraid I'll look like I'm poor and be mocked. Will I?
