My dad took the iPad and I don't know what to do?

I know most of you are gonna call me ungrateful but hear me out. We have a family iPad in my house and I usually take that to school. I'm in grade 7 and don't have a phone so I have to work with what I've got. For some reason, after seeing my iPad my friends assumed it was mine and I said it was because it wasn't a big deal. My dad sometimes works in Montreal and takes it every time he goes. He took it this week and left. I know my friends are gonna ask where it is and they think it is mine. I don't know how to explain that it isn't mine because it'll be awkward. How am I going to survive this week? I'm thinking of just not bringing it up. It will all be over in a week. Help?

How come people think that arguing with an internet technician shows my immaturity when I think it makes me cool? - 1

So the at&t guy that came out yesterday was an idiot. He was blaming everything on me and said that I have a total of 25 devices connected wirelessly to the router. I told him that I don't have 25 devices but he insists that he is correct because it says so on his ipad. The guy is a freaking idiot and he got my family to side with him. He wanted to move the modem downstairs and putted in an central location. I disagreed with it but he got my family members on his side. He got rude and said I will move the modem down and set in the living and run a wire upstairs to him if he is so pinned on using his apple router. I threatened him that if he did that then I will take a hammer to him. He stopped there and says he can't do it if I don't agree to it. Moving an modem and router to the center of the house will make no difference. I have airport expresses which are network extenders downstairs so the whole house is covered. He says it degrades the speed when it has to pass through those extenders. That is not true. My family is mad that I switched to spectrum without their permission. I just went and did it anyways. Spectrum is better than at&t. He says switching to spectrum will make no difference if the router is in the same location. Well I disagree with him. Spectrum will make it better. My friend andy says that my immaturity level shows because I argued and called the technician names and threatened him. I think it makes me cool because I'm not afraid to stand up to him.
Added (1). He was a jerk from the moment he stepped into my house. He had a nasty attitude and I told my family that. Andy says look who has the nasty attitude now? He says the at&t guy did nothing wrong and that I'm the one with the nasty attitude. I will prove to them and everyone when we switch to spectrum and have amazing speeds and reliability. I'm leaving the router and modem in the same place because moving it will make no difference.
Added (2). The at&t guy says the reason for the poor network connection is because the router is on the opposite side of the house in my room and says moving it downstairs will help. No it will not. I was in school for computer science and computer networking for 2 years and people don't believe me because I dropped out. Even though I dropped out I still learned stuff from the computer networking class so I'm right. The at&t guy claims he knows more than because he has been doing it for 15 years.
Added (3). I know a lot too because I went to the computer networking class so I don't get why people say I know nothing. Why do people say that I know nothing when I took computer networking classes? How come people don't believe me because I dropped out of college? Why do people think that I know nothing and learned from the computer networking class because I dropped out of college? How come people say that arguing with him shows my immaturity? I think it makes me look cool because I ain't scared
