Should i buy the alienware 14?

I want to know if the batterly life is really poor or is it just during playing heavy games.As iPad also gives long battery life if i just browse, make presentations and stuff but when i play infinity blade 2, the battery discharges very fast.Is that the case in alienware that it doesnt offer good battery life if i play crysis 3 at 1080p or just that it has a poor battery? How long does it last?
Are the specs really good? And also should i buy windows 8 or windows 7 with the laptop?
How long will it be able to run games at high settings and high res? Is it more powerful than the upcoming consoles?
Also, how will it compare to my pc config?

What to do during a long car ride for the kids?

We're going on a 14 hour car trip this week. We will have 3 children in the car + an 8 month baby. We have iPods, iPads and DVD players but after you watch one or two movies and play a game for half an hour, the kids get bored. We found a couple car games but those will get old too. We take a lot of car trips but we pretty much always have the same problem. Please help! We're leaving Wednesday! Thank you!

For my carryon purse will this be okay?

Okay in my carryon purse I will be taking a backpack inside will be:

-iPad
-iPhone
-headphones
-gum
-passport
-wallet
-travel size lotion
-ankle socks
-Chapstick

Am I missing anything? What do you bring in your carryon bag?
Added (1). I'm bringing another carryon bag which will have some extra clothes.tampons, and some shoes and stuff like that

It won't let me like statuses/pictures on Facebook?

I've tried it on my iPod and iPad and when I would press the "like" button, it likes the status/picture but then unlikes the status/picture in a second and I've tried to fix this problem by logging out and signing back in but it still keeps happening. Help please!

My Timeline will only show the four most recent posts?

As of yesterday, when I click on my name to go to my page, I only see the four most recent posts on my timeline. The only way to see the rest of my timeline is to view it as my friends see it, as they can all see it just fine. I tried changing browsers, computers, and even using other electronic devices. The Apple computer and my Windows both wouldn't show more than those 4 posts and the iPad had the same problem. Does anybody have a solution?

Should I get the Apple iPad 4 or the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1?

I torn. I have an iPhone and feel like I want to try something new but I just love the ipad. The galaxy is also a lot cheaper and I'm a college student so that's kind of important. Recommendations?

How to stop my 1yr old from biting everything?

If she sits in my lap and i rest my hand near her she will pick it up and start biting my fingers or hand.
But she bites everything, she will bite chairs, toys, tables, she's like the baby from series of unfortunate events!

She won't go over to someone and deliberately bite them but if you put your hand or arm near her she will. I have all bite marks on my ipad case from where she bites it
