Guitar confiscated at university?

Hello, i am currently undertaking a music degree at university. I have decided to take a gap year to travel. But at the beginning of the degree the uni gave me an Ipad mini. It is mine as long as i finish the degree, i later lost it and informed the uni of this and decided to buy another one with my own money as it was useful. Now i am leaving they have told me i need to give the ipad back even though i am coming back. They have informed me i need to replace it with 500 pounds (which it isnt worth), and as i refused to pay this unless they took us to court or agreed to let us pay it back slowly. In reaction to this they have taken my expensive guitar and locked it up and say i cant have it back until i give them 500 pounds, is this legal? I am fuming this guitar isnt even my one i borrowed it of my brother and hes not happy. What action can i take?

Coding in C++ container help?

I'm fairly new but learning VERY rapidly. I'm trying to build a program to have a container for separate sections. These sections are similar. Same recorded value types. But having multiple values stored together. I want to be able to store a date, a cash amount (double for decimal) and a brief description. Now I want this but don't know how, but I ALSO want to be able for the user to search each specific field. So let's say I want to store 200$, 12/9/14, sold iPad (amount, date, desc) the user needs to search with 200, 12/9/14 OR sold iPad and it come up with result of this and any other alike. I don't know much in containers so if you can briefly describe as you go on, I'd greatly appreciate it! So much.

So I want to know:
-Container for me
-a bit how it works
-store multiple values tied together
-search them

My husband past is haunting me?

Me and my husband have undergone arranged marriage but we love each other to the depths of our heart. However recently he handed me over his ipad. I started exploring it nd i came across my husbands old emails. They were love letters to a girl. My heart broke into pieces… Now im always crying nd i cant talk about it with anyone not even with my husband. Im not sure anymore.

What should I get for my 14th birthday?

Okay so my birthday is coming up in a few days… I already know I can't get a iphone because they don't want me having a phone. I already have an iPod touch 4, IPad mini, 3ds xl and a old laptop it's like a really old laptop it's a miniature laptop which is extremely slow. So I need someone's opinion? Should I get money? Please do not call me a spoiled brat because my ipod I payed for and I payed for my 3ds also? Should I get a camera? Or a new laptop?

Ipad stuck while updating software?

Last night i was updating my Ipad's software and i didn't wait for it to finish so I just went to sleep (thinking it would be done in the morning, still have internet connection). When I woke up I saw that it was stuck on the apple logo page (black screen, white apple logo, loading bar). It could not have been that the update still isn't done!

Please help, I don't wanna lose everything on my Ipad. I also can't go in recovery mode right now because I don't have my laptop with me so I can't connect to Itunes. Please help:(
