There are thousands of iPhone Apps, iPad Apps, and Android Apps that have been developed to perform a myriad of tasks and processes. Initially, most of these applications were games intended to be played on mobile devices. The popularity of these applications led businesses to ponder whether some of their business process applications that run on desktop platforms and the Web could be redesigned to run on mobile devices. The answer was a resounding yes! For example, Nationwide developed the Nationwide® Mobile, a free iPhone App that allows its insurance policyholders to file a claim on the spot when an accident occurs. The application can snap pictures of the accident and attach them to the claim data and upload the claim information to a server. This reduces the length of time to process a claim filed this way. Nationwide competitors have followed suit and developed iPhone, iPad, and Android applications of their own. Policyholders can receive messages via Facebook or Twitter. Other business processes that have been reengineered as a result of mobile computing include Quick Response (QR) codes which have replaced one-dimensional bar codes. They are read using mobile devices, accepting credit card payments from an iPhone, iPad or Android device, depositing checks using an iPhone without visiting a bank, and many more.

How to install apps on an ipad if it is restricted?

One of my friends annoyingly disabled me from installing apps onto my ipad, as well as several other things, and then they forgot the restrictions pass code! It doesn't really bother me, except for the fact that i need to be able to install apps. I have tried doing it on my computer (I have a pc) but it doesn't work! Help!

How to sync iPad to iTunes without deleting content?

My iPad currently has all the music from my old computer on it, the problem is that computer crashed and I wasn't able to save anything from it. I brought a macbook pro and i want to sync the iPad with iTunes so I have all my music from the iPad on there and i can just manage it with ease. I have looked all over the internet and tried several solutions but none have been able to help my situation. I already tried deleting iTunes and starting over and i also tried to open iTunes under a different account on my computer. There are over 2000 songs on my iPad and i really don't want to start from scratch downloading again it took years the first time around. Someone mentioned downloading a third party app but I'm not sure how comfortable i would be with that. Any information that you guys can help me with I would greatly appreciate. Thank you so much.

My new pc and related to wifi,?

So i just build my awesome pc. Work great. But one thing, you guys know the wireless router. I connected the wireless router with a Ethernet cable into this new pc i just build at the third floor, but i still use my old pc at the first floor, but I can't connect to my own wifi(Internet). I need the wireless router with Ethernet cable connect to it too. I'm planning to put my wireless router and my Ethernet cable back to my old pc. But how do i fix the problem. What item should i put it in my new pc, so I can connect to wifi or internet wireless such as a ipad or laptop connect to wifi without the wireless router connect to it? P.s i dont want another long Ethernet cable. Like a 200ft one no way lmao.

Is there an iPad app to create a merch store for Physical/In person sales?

I tour in a band and we're hitting the road in October. We'd like to set up our merch store at shows to where people can come to the table and use credit cards (not everyone has cash) to buy merch. We have the Square for the iPhone/iPad to run the cards. We just need the app for people to sort through and view merch and then make their purchases in person, we want it to be very similar to how to buy food at Wawa gas stations. If anyone knows of an app that can do this, I'd really appreciate any insight.

How to transfer photos from pc to ipad or ipad to pc without using iTunes?

I'm a restaurant owner currently and I am making menus with ipad with my home made cakes and stuff. However, I want to upload new photos of my new creations everyweek from different computers as I work in a lot of places. ITunes isn't flexible for me because of that matter and when I try to do it, I have to delete my current photos and replace it with new ones.

On the other hand, my internet connection is kind of slow for applications like dropbox and similar for me to use as I don't have much time in hand to wait for the huge numbers of photos to upload.

Is there a free app for me to use for pc or ipad to transfer my photos back and forth? I will use them to update my iphoto albums.

Any help is appreciated.

I lost my iPad mini! How can i find it?

I last had it last night before i left for my soccer game, i thought i just left it on my shelf but I haven't been able to find it anywhere! I have literally looked everywhere, I am so stressed out I have no idea where it could be! I checked the "find my iPhone app" but it said it was offline, and that last time was 4:30 yesterday at my house. Does this mean it could be dead, or on airplane mode? Please help!
