Deleting gmail account from iPad?

So, i recently logged on to my gmail account using the Mail feature on my iPad (instead of just doing it through Safari, which is what i always do normally).My problem is that iPad saves every freaking thing; so now when you go to Settings, under "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" it shows my gmail address. I've already made it "inactive", meaning, the new emails don't show up..but i don't want the iPad to even show my gmail account in Settings. I was going to delete it, but i'm afraid that it'll delete the whole freaking thing, like, the actual email, and i DO NOT want the actual email account deleted permanently or anything (i've got some emails that i have to keep). I just need it to be gone from the iPad.So, i guess my question is, if i click "delete account" on iPad, will it delete the actual email account with all the emails and stuff from everywhere or JUST the iPad? Thanks.

Ios 7 beta 1 ipad 3 download?

I asked people at apple help online, but they were being mean and didn't tell me any answer! :(
Anyways…
I came here to ask if the ipad 3 has received ios 7 beta 1 yet. If so, please include a download link. I understand that only apple devs can download betas but, seriously, the other betas are all over the Internet.

How to download apps onto the ipad mini for free?

Okay, so i just got the ipad mini today, was going great until i tried to download apps from the app store.i signed in with my apple ID, and then it asked me for my credit card information? Note, that the app i selected stated it was free! I refuse to give out that information, it says it's free so why should I? Same story with the iTunes. I read that you simply click the 'none' option, but there wasn't one?
